This place is solid. First visit to Pita GR. Ordered the lamb/gyro pita(w/o fries inside) and friend on the side. I also ordered a side of spicy feta because I love spicy feta. I was able to add a smaller side onto my meal for $2, instead of paying for the large dip sized portion. The young ladies at the register were upbeat and smiling. The restaurant was very clean. The lamb/gyro pita was full of sliced gyro, tomato, fresh, creamy avocado, crunchy cucumbers, and a spicy tzatziki. The pita was flavorful and fresh. The lamb gyro was delish!! It was seasoned, not overcooked, and just plain good. I schmeered on some spicy feta, and baby, I was in food heaven. The fries that came with the pita wrap were perfectly cooked and freshly made. Well im back here today 9/17/24 because i do like the chicken pita but AGAIN as im standing at the register watching the two chefs preparing a large catering order one of them putting together a big salad with his bare hands reaching in to a big liquid filled Tupperware filled with black olives . Hand was up to his wrist grabing handfulls of oilves and dropping them over the salad along with the liquid from his hands... Come on guys you need to think of your customers put on latex and change them often especially while in direct view of your front counter... read more

I came here for lunch almost twice a week ! I love their food here ! It's healthy , reasonably priced , and you get a variety of everything on the plate ! Their fries are delicious! I love that they are actually using olive oil for their salad dressing and not canola oil. Quality food is hard to find these days . Highly recommending this place ! read more

Came to Pita GR cause wanted to try a new quick Mediterranean place. The girls at the register kind of waiting for me to order staring at me while I try to decide wish they would have asked if I needed help or suggestions off the menu but oh well.The decoration was nice everything was clean and the AC was blasting. Food came out pretty quick. I ordered the 1 plate protein. Salad and tzaziki sauce was good. I got the chicken gyro and it just tasted heavily of oregano didnt get a crazy good prominent flavor just felt like i was tasting burnt oregano. The chicken is dark meat for whoever is picky with white or dark. Rice was a bit too much lemon flavor for my liking wish it woulda been more on the chicken. Wish they had a garlic sauce or spread but they have a potato garlic spread? Overall was decent but for the price i might have to go to Off the boat for Mediterranean plates. I live in Blackstone, Brea hills and had not tried this place, I eat at Cava (I liked this pita much better) and others but gotta tell you tried the Steak/lamb pita and it was "DELICIOUS".. meat was cooked perfectly just moist and soft and the combination of the flavors just blended perfectly. Showed up late afternoon and the store was popping. That's awesome. Awesome. I ordered onechicken gyro, one pork belly gyro and a lamb gyro. Because I was picking the food up and driving home I didn't want any french fries because they do not travel well. They allowed substitution. I chose the Greek salad and their rice. I also ordered their spicy feta dip. Aka "Kafterí".. YUM!! The rice was delicious. It had the essence of lemon in it without the sourness. Unbelievable! The Greek salad was traditional and delicious. My only complaint was that I ordered the gyro sauce (tzatziki) on the side and they forgot to put it in the bag. The store was very clean, Greek music in the background and the vibe was perfect. Today was my first time giving this place a try. I ordered a plate with two types of protein chicken and steak. The food in my opinion is over price. The food overall was decent. During the time I was dining they were filming and taking picture's of the food and restaurant. I had to move several times to a different table because I do not want to be filmed. I do not understand why they could not do this before or after business hours?!?! There main focus should be on there customers who come in. I love this place and honestly can't stop eating here! I get the chicken plate with spicy feta. The place is always clean and the staff and owner are really nice. My BIG issue with this place is the price, prices are really steep and I know inflation is very real but it does keep me from cooking here more often. I am so happy to have a great dining option in Brea. We ordered a Chicken Souvlaki plate & a Falafel plate. These plates were well rounded and included rice, salad, pita bread, a dip.... and my favorite part was a handful of unexpected french fries. Delicious favors and good portions.
