Small parkling lot right beside it which is convenient. It is tucked away from the main spots for restaurants though so not a lot of traffic here. The prices are fantastic. Around 12 something for a platter. These days it's up to 15-17. I expected less quantity but they give big portions. The lady serving me was very detailed oriented, slowly stacking the salad making sure pieces dont fall over. The hummus was in a small plastic container that is put into one section of the platter plate. It'd be less waste if they just plopped on the hummus like other places. They give plenty of meat to cover the rice. I asked for extra garlic sauce and they were happy to give it. The chicken was nice. Not dry. The lamb however was soggy like it was steamed too long after shaving the pieces. The rice was also disappointing and was way overcooked and soggy. I think they could be a really great place if they can fix the sogginess of the rice and lamb. read more

We walked past this place numerous times during our daily walks. For reasons unbeknownst to me I have been giving ME food a break for some time, so never stopped by. Since our experience in Houston with Oddball Eats, it has reignited interest in ME cuisine. Stopped in on a snowy Tuesday lunch at Uncle Moe's. The owner was manning the shop alone, cooking, taking orders all the while being extremely patient with some of the weirdest and silliest customers. He patiently answered their questions, probably for the millionth time, without resorting to ridicule or sarcasm. We ordered a large chicken donair and a lamb rice plate combo. The food was delicious, tasted very authentic and "proper". The items were shockingly of fair value. Had the place had more staff, perhaps they could make the food a slightly quicker and ease the line a bit better. Overall, nice joint. Will be back to try other items. read more

Lovely little shop with amazing service! The owners are great! Ordered takeout for 60 people for after a family funeral. The food was more than enough - we could have probably fed double the amount of people. The food was also delicious. The garlic sauce was a real hit! Located in a corner along Westwood. The neighborhood seemed a little sketchy and the 8nside was not so spacious. We waited quite a while for our order, although they apologized for the wait. Hands down, the BEST donair poutine ever. I am literally eating their poutine while typing this--I felt bad not posting earlier because we order from Uncle Moe's all.the.time. Specifically, their donair poutine. They don't include the meat selection on their Doordash menu for some reason, but you can just write what you want in the comments (my favorite's the chicken, but that's also my go-to for donairs. Pick whichever's your preferred protein!). I've ordered donair poutine from other places before, and there's really just no comparison. The fries are still crispy over a healthy serving of cheese kurds, gravy, and generous portions of chicken donair. We always order for delivery, it always arrives hot. There's only so much I could say about poutine, but there you have it. 10/10 read more

Great, solid donairs. Choice between chicken, lamb or beef, and you can choose to put fries in your donair too, just like they do in Greece. The donairs are grilled, made in thin pita bread, with a choice of cucumber, tomato, lettuce, red onion, and cheese as toppings. Lots of different sauces to choose from as well. I've tried my fair share of Donair joints throughout the lower mainland, but this by far has to be one of the best. My boyfriend and I noticed their poutine posted on their store front window so we decided to try it. We ended up ordering a large chicken donair (which of course had lots and lots of chicken), the chicken plate and a chicken poutine. Seriously so delicious and everything cost us $24! The lady that helped us did an amazing job getting all our orders together despite being the only person running the place at the time. She was super friendly and was really courteous the whole time we were there. We will definitely be back! read more

I was working around the area and decided to pop on in. I didn't really expect much cuz it was super empty inside. But I ordered and by the time I got my food, there was a line up to the door. Was very excited to try this Donair shop with such high ratings a thought this will be a slam dunk. We had falafel's a falafel plate and a meat donair. The Donaire was definitely a great portion and very flavorful, the falafel's on the other hand tasted off and the combination of smoky chipotle and undercooked falafels were not to our liking. Of the many donairs I've had in Metro Vancouver, Uncle Moe's are the absolute best with his perfected methodology and blend of delicious sauces. The sweet sauce and paprika infused hot sauce mix with the freshly cooked chicken to create a delicately balanced palette of flavours that will have you craving more. Not only is the chicken juicy and well seasoned, Uncle Moe goes the extra mile to crisp it up in a frying pan before generously piling it into the heart of the pita. The vegetables are always fresh and crisp, unlike some of the wilted and browning vegetables many other inferior donair places seem to use. Adding green peppers to the mix creates a satisfying crunch, which is refreshing to have as typical donair ingredients tend to meld into a uniform viscousity. The unique, star shaped falafel are also a fantastic addition to any donair or as a side dish. Uncle Moe's represents the epitome of what a "mom and pop restaurant" should be.
