If yelp would allow half stars, I would say this is a 3.5/5 experience. This location is one of the few lunch establishments available around the corresponding area, and it feels like this fact is somewhat taken advantage of. The staff is very friendly- they take the time to acknowledge you even when busy, and they will take your order despite the registers being self service sufficient. The food is hit or miss. The falafel was small and overcooked, but I personally enjoyed the potatoes and hummus. The pita is standard, and I do not know if was made in location or bought premade, but I wish that the half came with the bowl. (It's possible that it comes with the plates, but I did not see it on the menu). For its price and quality, I probably wouldn't return if there were more local options to choose from. read more

Stopped by and picked up lunch order recently. I had the lunch bowl with spinach salad, lemon garlic potatoes, and chicken kabob. Everything was fresh and delicious. My job ordered Falafel, Chicken and Greek Salads along with Garlic Toum, Hummus, yogurt sauce and oil/vinegar dressing. The pita was soft and fluffy but kinda threw me off that it was so pale since i'm used to some toasty marks or something lol but the chicken was seasoned nicely. Falafels were pretty good i'd probably prefer them over the chicken. The caterers were perfect but the food was alright. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to try them again but i'm glad it was chosen for catering over something less healthy and maybe more off putting haha. Falafel and chicken had great flavor but possibly since it was not fresh I didn't find it super appealing. The lemon garlic chicken is always cooked perfectly and seriously tastes like it was made with love. The salad was super fresh, and I loved the addition of pickled onions and grilled tomato - a great contrast of textures and flavors. One plate came with creamy tzatziki and classic hummus, while the other featured a bold, spicy cilantro hummus that added a delicious kick. What really made the experience even better was the customer service. Jesus was awesome, super friendly, attentive, and really knowledgeable about the menu. I finally stopped by this spot for a quick bite before work, and let me just say--wow. From start to finish, the experience was top-tier. I had never been to this location before, and the gentleman host was absolutely amazing. He greeted me so warmly, helped guide me through the menu, and made me feel completely at ease choosing my first meal there. I ordered a gyro wrap to go, and while I waited, he even brought it outside to me when it was ready. He didn't have to do that, but that little extra effort really stuck with me. Now, I'm a HUGE sauce person, and I totally forgot to ask for tzatziki. I was low-key bummed when I remembered--after I had already driven away. But when I got to work and finally took my first bite, I was hit with just veggies in that initial mouthful. Normally I'd be disappointed... but let me tell you, the flavor of their sauce and seasoning? Next-level. I was floored at how good it was. And then--bam--the next bite had that juicy beef and lamb combo and I was truly speechless. Everything was so flavorful, fresh, and perfectly balanced. You'll see in my photos: first bite, last few bites... I savored every bit. I got the pesto falafel pita pocket. The falafel was flavorful and fried to a good texture. One of the better falafels I've had recently! The pita itself wasn't actually that great, it was thinner and maybe baked a little too long? Nothing standout with the veggies but they were fresh. The pesto added a good extra flavor and I haven't seen that option at other Mediterranean places, but I actually would just get a regular falafel pita pocket next time. The serving size is big so this lasted me 2 meals! Kind and helpful workers, and just a heads up, there aren't too many places to sit! read more

When you are hungry and order food from a place, you trust to get that food. The food you pay for. Forgot how Many times they have forgotten my chips with spicy humus. When you are paying 40 dollars for so little food ( when other places give you double for the same price and quality) and they still miss and forget your order for God knows how many time ( When you are hungry), then this is management and store issue. Awful experience here. I ordered a platter with gyro meat. The meat was so dry, you couldn't eat it. I could use it as a spoon to eat the hummus. I went back in and told the young man and he said" That's too bad. Would you like some extra sauce?" I said no. It was not edible. I wanted a lid for my meal Because I had a whole plate of rice, potatoes(edible, not great) and hummus( good) left. My meal was $20 and not worth even close to that. Pretty good food. I ordered this for dinner one night while out of town because it could be delivered to my hotel. The photos online looked great and the reviews matched that. The food arrived quickly which was nice. Thank you pita pita and Grubhub! They sent two knives which made me chuckle? Mediterranean chopsticks perhaps? I don't know but it made eating an adventure! Ordering through Grubhub was easy and I loved that pita pita allowed you to truly customize each step- they even have an option for you to split rice and salad under the kabob which I LOVED and was thankful for! Now the food. It was great, the chicken truly was cooked to perfection, nice and juicy, not charred like some places do. Great work here! It also came with a fresh slice of pita! Delish! My low points were: The chicken had many fat/tendon bits which I wasn't digging. And unfortunately they smothered the chicken in a white sauce?! Stopped by the Newport Beach location near John Wayne Airport based on reviews. We were initially thinking El Torito but wanted a fast casual place. Strip location is very visible from the street. Ample open parking and outdoor seating. Inside is small with limited seating. Time was 12:30pm and place was crowded (which is always a good sign) considering other nearby choices. We ordered the lemon garlic chicken and spicy chicken bowls. Both were the perfect amount with two sides (pic). The original hummus was okay but the Tabbouleh was flavorful. Staff were rocking and rolling with takeout orders. Service was quick. The male facilitator prepping orders did a good job of engaging customers. Pita Pita serves up Mediterranean fare and offers bowls, plates, and salads. I stopped by because I saw they had bowls starting at $10 and each bowl comes with 2 sides and a sauce. In terms of seating they only have 4 or 5 tables inside with seating for 2 people only at each table, so the place is pretty small. There is however seating outdoors that businesses in the area can utilize. Chicken bowl ($12) - It turns out only the falafel bowl was $10. Chicken or gyro bowls are $12. For the base one has a choice of rice, spinach salad or Greek salad. Sides included garlic potatoes, hummus, spicy cilantro hummus, tabbouleh, tzatziki, or fattoush. I went with the lemon garlic chicken bowl, hummus, spicy cilantro hummus and a Greek salad for my base. I was really *SHOCKED* at how small the bowl was. The Greek salad was very minimalist with lettuce, 2 or 3 olive pieces, 2 or 3 onion strands and a very light vinaigrette. The sides were a joke and only included a teaspoon each of the hummus and spicy cilantro hummus. The chicken consisted of 4 small pieces that had good flavor and were tender. I went with the garlic sauce as my sauce option and it was disappointing. It was extremely runny and really lacked any garlic flavor. Overall I was disappointed in the quantity of food being offered here in the bowl, especially given the price point. At this price point they should offer 50% more meat, more items in the salad as well as increase the quantity of salad, work on improving their garlic sauce. They also should not be nickel and diming for extra toppings to the salad. I remember visiting their other location several years ago and remember them having an awesome toum (Lebanese garlic sauce). Sajj, EZ Kebab, Fresh off the Boat, and CAVA are much better values. Hopefully they can work on improving things. read more

I did like the fatoosh more, the tzatziki salad could use some work. My only complaint was tzatziki salad was watery. Not sure how they make it but it didn't taste bad necessarily just needs to be less watered down. Oh also the pita they give you is so fluffy and delicious.
