Super, fabulous food! New menu. More seating, new dining tables and chairs, lots of room for lunch and dinner groups. Love this place for the last 25 yrs

This place was a delightful find! I didn't love getting my food on styrofoam plates, and the ambiance was what you'd expect in an outdated strip mall, the food nore than made up for it! The tuna salad pita sandwich, the falafel platter, and the beef pita sandwich were all great, according to our party members. My falafal was perfectly seasoned and fried, and they were not even a bit too oily. We also got a large, tasty piece of baklava for $5, which we cut and split among the three of us. I would recommend a stop at Pita Plus, if you're anywhere nearby!

One of my favorite Mediterranean spots! I used to come here all the time when I worked out this way. I'm always greeted in a fun and inviting way. My favorite is the falafel platter. Phoned orders are prepared quick and practically ready when you arrive. Definitely check them out!

If you're in the Chesterfield/Creve Coeur area, you have to try Pita Plus. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Even though we walked in less than 15 minutes before closing, he still gave us the option to dine in or take it to go. He recommended the falafel platter and said it was a popular favorite. So we decided to give it a try. The falafel here is one of the best i have had in St. Louis. It is made fresh packed with a lot of flavor, crunchiness and tastes delicious. In addition to the falafel plate (with hummus and salad) we ordered a classic gyro. The pita bread is made fresh and hot which is a plus. They have a plethora of sauces in the refrigerator that you can ask for at request including tzatziki and hot chili sauce. Portions are moderate. They also have some homemade desserts. The food is made to order and hot. There is a small seating area if you want to dine in or you can take it to go. Perfect for lunch or dinner. We will definitely come back.

Forgot to take a pic before I dug in.

Finally tried this place for the first time. Got the falafel platter. It came with 5 pieces of falafel, tomato salad, pita, hummus, tahini sauce and a pickle. All I can say is WOW! Falafel was the best I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned and crispy. The salad was fresh and the pita and hummus were the perfect addition. Service was very friendly. Will definitely be back. Delicious!

Stopped in for lunch. Ate one pita for $10 and still left hungry because the portions are more suitable for birds.

Awesome falafel, strong Turkish coffee, great baklava! The place is small and quiet but the food is excellent.

A real treat yo self experience is to be had at this restaurant by the Bengelina Hospitality Group…read more Recommendations: At this coastal Mediterranean restaurant we enjoyed the Stracciatella consisting of grilled grapes, rosemary almonds, and aged balsamic and the shrimp oreganata as starters. For the grilled over charcoal portion of the menu, we enjoyed the the Denver steak and skirt steak. For the side, you can't go wrong with the fire baked potato with truffle fonduta. Dessert: The limoncello tiramisu is delightful and fresh. The homemade chocolate truffles are made by Chef's mom and are a must try menu item. Ambiance: Warm and intimate with great music playing in the background. Staff: Ellie was knowledgeable, friendly, and provided excellent recommendations. Jonathan's keen sense of hospitality and operational excellence further enhances the restaurant experience.

The server seemed annoyed with being there, never asked my husband if he wanted a refill, took forever to check on us, and messed up the bill, which I didn't catch until after signing it. I've been to plenty of fine dining restaurants where our server has introduced themselves and asked about the occasion, and this place did none of that. Esca has the service of a fast casual restaurant- zero rapport with the customer. Oh and I was charged a 20% service fee. Super tacky to do that for a table of two at a nice restaurant. Bruschetta was such a small portion and flavorless. The artichokes claimed to have anchovy but my husband said he couldn't taste any, so he essentially got a tiny $20 artichoke as an appetizer. My $16 spritz was so loaded with ice I had maybe three sips of the actual drink. I noticed every other table had bread service but we weren't offered any. Our dinner was finished and I finally asked our server for bread. The best part of my meal was the gelato with olive oil, that's it. I don't think I'll spend the $$ again at this place. It's such a bummer because I had high hopes for a stellar Mediterranean meal.
