Good mediterranean food here, serving subs, sandwiches, and wraps. Although, I'm not a big fan of gyro meat just sitting out in the open air, it never looks that clean. The service is decent and they make the sandwiches pretty quick. However, the plastic red chairs are horrendous. The plain dining tables don't help either. I felt I was in an 1980s school cafeteria. What were they thinking?! Finding this place is not easy, it's off the main road, but located at the back of the plaza,with just one row of parking spots.

What a treat to have discovered this place. Thank you Yelpers! Pita Pockets is a hole in the wall tupe of place in an unassuming strip mall in Key Biscayne. You won't see this place from the street...it's at the end of the strip mall. Very high quality products, generous portions and delicious food, served with a smile. How great (and rare) is that in Miami? Happy to support local and independent businesses. I also love how the owner was wearing an American flag T-shirt. Gotta love businesses that love their country. Happy to support these guys and will be back!

A local had recommended this spot and at first I thought it was a chain, but when I read the reviews on yelp, I was determined to give it a try before leaving the key. Headed over on a Friday during the lunch hour. Hidden near the end of a strip mall (it's not visible from the street); was wondering if I was even in the right place. Stepped inside and it was a bit dark and hot; turns out something was wrong with the A/C. No matter, I had to try the shawarma. There were a few people in front of us, but staff was cooking away happily. Stepped up and order the beef/lamb shawarma pita. They make it the way you like with lots of options of quality ingredients (garlic spread, hummus, tzatziki, tomatoes, onions, etc). My shawarma? THIS. WAS. PHENOMENAL. The beef/lamb combo is marinated overnight and then cooked on a vertical circular broiler. Add the tasty sauces and fresh ingredients and you have a perfect shawarma. Best item I ate on the Key.

What a great find while riding bikes in this area. All the thanks to Yelp when I did a search for somewhere to eat. Love the prices, Love the food and Love the taste!! All of the flavors in my pita complimented each other and the tastes just burst in my mouth. AMAZING!! Friendly duo behind the counter. Very laid back feeling. Huge portions (definitely enjoy a meal here AFTER going to the beach). I loved that I could see and choose exactly what I wanted in my pita.

This is the BEST FUCKING FALAFEL I've ever had!!!! So good so sooo good, you can put like 17 different toppings in your wrap, every single bite tasted like a brand new flavor experience.Do yourself a favor and please go there. It'll get a little messy towards the end but it's SO worth it!!!

Incredible flavors. Federico does a great job bringing KB a taste of fresh and delicious Lebanese food. You can't go wrong with this place. I recommend trying a little bit of everything on your pita - all the sauces and pastes are insanely good paired with the juicy shwarma meats. I usually do a chicken or beef pita (get it stuffed or rolled up as a wrap) with red pepper paste, garlic sauce, tzatziki and some veg they grill on the flat top. It's just really, really, stupidly good. Not too expensive, so bring a friend and grab a few side orders of kibbeh or some stuffed grape leaves. read more

I regret ordering from this place! First they took a least hour and half to bring the delivery, the driver couldn't get the address soy called me in a rude way saying that the address was wrong when it was perfectly fine... this being not enough when i got the food the order was wrong and of course cold!... worst place ever! read more

When it comes to Lebanese food it's three main components are the wrap, the sauce, and the depth of the flavor. This place has a perfect wrap that holds up to the dense sauces which are perfectly spicy. And the depth of the flavor is well rounded it excites your palate. As far as customer service they are nice quick and efficient. Place is clean a little hard to find but so are the best things in life. Highly recommend the falafel wrap read more

Fresh and delicious. We had two chicken pita and one chicken wrap. All had fresh crisp vegetables and delicious garlic sauce. Our kids just had bread with hummus, but that was tasty too. This is mainly a take out place, it is next to Dominos pizza. Instead of going to nearby Subway, this is a good choice. read more

I very rarely review anything, but this place really is exceptional. My fiancé and I just walked in so ready to apologize to the man behind the counter for having an overly complicated order, only to have him smile at us and point us to the slogan on the wall "stuff it your way". Awesome service, kind people, and the BEST philly cheese steak I've ever had (my fiancé loved her fattoush salad as well). Pita Pockets is one of our new favorite spots! read more

Came here after hiking around at the beach and we were hungry. It was pretty busy during the lunch hour but they are fast. We had a chicken platter and 3 of us tried different pockets - caesar, lamb and greek. They all tasted amazing, only small gripe is on one they put a little too much dressing so the bread got soggy but small sacrifice, all was very tasty and the portions are huge. It is not that inexpensive for a quick lunch but worth a treat. read more

This place was a hidden gem, and the people who work there and own it were incredibly nice. I ordered the veggie sampler and he gave me a little bit of every single thing they had, including an incredible garlic dip and some amazing baba ganoush. Their falafel is amazing- so green that you can tell they use a lot of fresh herbs, and the owner talked to us about how they make it by soaking the chickpeas for 24 hours. I wish we lived nearby so we could go more often!!! read more

The outlets they do have do not even work. The food menu is a bit pricey for what you get. A small slice of quiche was very marked up, and two small empanadas were $11. The lattes were also pricey and not even made with freshly ground espresso. The food took a long time to come out, even though it was pre-made and just needed to be heated up. I stayed because the staff was very welcoming and friendly. They offered me a complimentary dessert for waiting so long for my food which was nice. It's a fine cafe for grabbing a bite, but not good if you are looking to relax and get some work done on your laptop.

Others in our group ordered the cacio e pepe with a pesto twist, the chicken parmesan with pasta on the side, the feta and spinach stuffed bacon wrapped chicken, and the black squid ink risotto calamari pasta, and every single dish was exceptional. The ambience, quality of the food, and level of service made the entire experience feel like true fine dining. The restaurant was beautiful and spotless, and every detail was thoughtfully done. We will absolutely be back and cannot recommend it enough!

This is a Lebanese restaurant so the flavors are unique! I am a bigger fan of Greek and Turkish Mediterranean food, but the owner is very passionate about his craft and takes great care to prepare everything exactly as, it should be for both flavor and appearance! The prices are kind is steep, but this is on Key Biscayne so the rent is probably higher as well. The best bet is a platter! You get to try several sides and sauces. Try the Platter, the lamb is so freaking delicious! The parking is very uncomfortable and cramped but they really have no control over that. The food is amazing. When looking through the glass that separates the customers from the food you can see they are really carful and sanitary when adding ingredients to your order. Try the baba ganoush! read more

Located at the end of the Arcade Mall next to Subway, Pita Pockets had the Best Falafel i've ever had with a very clean and super friendly staff. I came back more than once and had the chicken pocket and beef/lamb platter and they were to die for! One of the best places to grab some healthy, fresh and fast meals in Key Biscayne! read more
