Wow! Excellent choice in the area. We've never been to this franchise and were delighted with the fresh flavorful and delicious menu. We had the Detroit (loaded original) and Fattoush salad with chicken. Couldn't be happier with: this option in its location, the food, and the service. Jacob and his team served us. Restaurant is clean. We appreciate the history of how it all started displayed on the wall. Easy access, quick service, delicious and healthy food choices. I was greeted promptly upon entering Pita Way. The inside was clean as was the kitchen area. I had placed an order online and there was a little hiccup with finding the order as the wrong receipt was on my order, but it was quickly sorted out. The Hummus and Pita chips were okay. Some of the chips were a little soggy. The ones that were crispy and seasoned were excellent. The hummus was okay - nothing fancy. The Dearborn is my go-to at Pita Way. The price is good and I like the dark chicken, pickles and garlic. I wish there was a little more garlic, but it was still excellent. This was my first time trying the Detroit Shawarma. I got it with white meat chicken instead of dark. The white meat is dry, so I would probably go with the dark meat next time. I had it topped with garlic, lettuce, pickles and pickled cabbage. I found Pita Way to be a great dining option in Davison! I sent my husband off on a mission to just visit and order us dinner. All choices were on him, which isn't typical. He came back home with a smile like Santa with a bag full of goodies. Haha. We just moved to the area, so establishing our "go-to" places for carryout or dining is something we take seriously. :) He brought home the 4 protein platter. Chicken, white and dark, Falafel and Lamb. Loved the Falafel and Lamb. I appreciate the tin they put the platter in as well. Love their food but was offered a combo and I directly told the gentleman making my food I do not want a drink. find out they charged me for one and told me it was only 49 cents more that I could grab a water bottle on my way out. SO be very clear and make them repeat what they are charging you for since I am now an unhaopy custoner. called out and did not grab the water since I was upset and did not appreciate how they handled ir. next time I will say no to any add on read more

The food is good. Do not order online and expect it to be done by the time you get there. I don't understand why it takes so long to do an online order it's no different than if you go inside. I watched 3 people get served before they even started mine even when I ordered 20 minutes prior. So just go in and order, it's much faster. read more

Untill recently this was a great place to get a healthy WFPB meal. You could otder the separate ingredients for making a Detroit Falafel getting the Falafel frozen then Air fry it at home and assemble it. They no longer allow you to buy the frozen falafel so there is no longer a healthy plant based meal option. Too bad. It used to be a regular stop for me. 7 read more

This place has the best staff Justin always has great recommendation that keep me coming in. I finished a 3 month cut and hitting this pita way was the first thing I did. Trust Justin pickles on the fire fry's SLAPS!!!! Also they need to keep the cheesecake baklava all year read more

Pita way is one of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants. I go there a lot but the Davison location was great. The people was very friendly. Shouts out to Gin that works there. Just tried the Davison one and they cooked up some falafel for my picky son to try (he didn't like it, but I thought it was excellent falafel). I'd avoid. Everyone had an attitude and i was charged extra to get garlic which came on the sandwich on the side, even though i got double garlic on another sandwich. $5 for a side of garlic. You've been warned. I also ordered a side of toubouli and it was not given. I'd be more worried about getting the order right than charging for a little garlic. read more
