    Pasta fazool soup

Austin did well taking care of us, even taking back one of the soups we ordered (not their fault, mind you). Toscana soup, spaghetti with meatballs, seafood Alfredo were our food selections, quite yummy and great portions. My Mom comes here often, so she'll be back again for good food and service! Ambiance is classic Olive Garden, clean and well maintained.

Hey! Elroy here, I would just like to start off by saying i'm actually allergic to every food sooooo I might be biased. Anyways I got me some Ravioli and Calamari and all I have to say is at the moment, a solid meal all around. But when I got home, is a different story, my toilet has never been the same, even tho I ate cooked squid it felt like the Kraken was coming out of my anus. I've never felt pain like that in my entire life. Have this be a warning

Stopped by here right after church for a birthday dinner for my mom....her choice! I haven't been to an OG in so long and it was good. Salad and breadsticks are still delicious. I got salmon and broccoli and it was surprisingly tasty! My mom friends say he had it one time before so I tried it. I'm glad I did. No carbs cause I did have my fair share of bread I'm glad my mom enjoyed herself! It was good!

I got the Chicken Alfredo and it was pretty good. The chicken was cooked perfectly and so were the noodles. The alfredo sauce was good as well, not too cheesy but also very flavorful. The service was excellent, hostesses were polite and kind and got us seated right away. Our server was such a sweetheart, he boxed up our left overs . The environment was extremely quiet and Italian themed. Great for a quieter group, I wish it was louder during my visit because I am loud . Overall though, the Olive Garden in Flint is a good choice if you're looking to dine in the area.

Olive Garden seems to be pretty consistent with their quality of food and service, so it's a reliable go to. For the most part I would rate our Olive Garden at about a 3.75 (who did that math?!?), so that's a 4 out of 5 I absence of partial stars. I have no complaints about any of the foods served. As a matter of fact, I like how accommodating the restaurant is with special requests. I only wish there were more seafood dishes. Something rather funny at our last visit was that our waiter had no clue whether the restaurant carried a rosé or not, and actually seemed puzzled about its existence. It appears OG no longer carries them? Our waiter was no help in trying to figure that out, but was attentive and congenial in all other ways. In short, we'll keep coming back, because we'll all find something to eat, even if some customizations are necessary. Thanks OG!

This evening I ordered the following from DoorDash:…read more * Pasta Verdura (x1) * Side Caesar (x2) I very clearly stated to NOT place my cold salads on top of hot pasta in the bag. I have to state this because they always do this. When my order was delivered I received the Verdura and one House Salad, not my two Caesar Salads. In addition, the House Salad was on top of the hot pasta and was therefore hot as well. Furthermore, the pasta was swimming in sauce. I called the restaurant and spoke with a gentleman. I believe his name was James. I explained the errors to him. He did not apologize at all. In fact, he told me that I either did not enter the note appropriately, or it did not come through on their end. He said that he bagged up my order. He also said nothing about the salad screwups. I told him that putting cold salads on top of hot pasta is their common practice with my orders, he said nothing. I told him that I was bringing this to his attention so that they could improve this practice. Once again, no response. I said to him that not putting cold salads on top of hot pasta should be common sense. He replied with, "I'm not going to have this discussion with you. You can take it up with DoorDash. Well, I am going to take it up with DoorDash and Sauce just lost a frequent and loyal customer. If he bagged up my order he obviously did not check to ensure the order was accurate. His attitude sucked: no apology and blaming the customer. Disgraceful! P.S. No salad dressing with the House Salad.

The vibe is super cozy, with different seating areas, booths and tables tucked around several fireplaces, plus a bar area. They bring out complimentary garlic bread when you sit down, crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, and absolutely delicious. We each got the $16 personal pizza deal with a side salad and drink. The pizza is thin, wood fired, crispy, and flavorful, cut into six slices, about the size of a small at most other places. Definitely a great value. The salad had fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, we added cheese, and the ranch tasted homemade. We also ordered the homemade asiago cheese sticks, which were fantastic. Super crispy outside, creamy and cheesy inside with that sharp asiago flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, refilling drinks without us having to ask and offering the dessert menu. I ordered the peanut butter cream pie and the chocolate mousse pie. Both were excellent. Our total was around $70 for two people, but I definitely added some extras. We arrived just in time to be seated right away, and by the time we left the parking lot was filling up fast. They're clearly popular. They also offer Monday through Thursday specials, so it's worth checking those out. There's plenty of parking near the surrounding stores and restaurants. It's a few miles from the main I-75 exit, but absolutely worth the drive.

My first visit since Susan sold the business…read more This is a weak 3-star review. The Deluxe Lasagna recipe has changed a bit - specifically; the Italian sausage was not sufficiently sausage-y. And while it arrived very hot, there was maybe two tablespoons of fluid in the bottom of the dish. Still very good, but different. The garlic bread served with the lasagna was a miss. Only toasted on one side and insufficiently garlicky (is that a word?). I also ordered a side of the garlic bread. Properly toasted, but again, lacked sufficient garlic flavor. The salad was fresh, slightly chilled. Only one waitress working the dining room and she was busy. Two large groups and a handful of booths were occupied. Although we arrived after the first group, our food came out first. We finished and left ... and they were still waiting on their salads.

There's plenty of parking, though it fills up quickly, and the restaurant is tucked into a residential area so it almost feels like you're headed the wrong way, but you're not. It's about a mile from I-75. Service was friendly despite how busy the staff was, and our server checked in whenever possible. The restaurant has multiple dining areas, including a large main room and a bar area with booths. The menu offers classic Italian dishes made from scratch. The "pick two" pasta option with salad is a great value and portions are generous. Many people were ordering pizza, and it's clearly a favorite, especially with their daily specials. The samrito-style puffed breadsticks are also worth trying. A true hidden gem that locals definitely know about. We'll be back!

The inexplicably named Samoritos (fried pizza dough pieces) are delicious! (I'd pay double to have those suckers tossed in FRESH chopped garlic and parsley and a little butter or olive oil). The marinara sauce is very nice. The staff are nice enough. Now for everything else. First thing one will notice is that the owners need to invest in their building. It is very late 70s mobile home vibes. It is grungy. It does not smell good. Age and grime coats the walls, fixtures, furnishings, and carpet. Nothing is updated or even just in good condition. The wait can be unbelievably long - not because there are no tables available, but because they run out of clean dishes. And while you wait forever, you are uncomfortably sitting in a strange, dark little room on a cheap outdoor bench, or you are standing right in the middle of the entry/exit point. The salad (like everywhere across the Midwest) is plain old iceberg lettuce with a scattering of cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes, and canned black olives and a bunch of shredded cheese if you don't ask them for no cheese. The dressings are not very inspiring. Or tasty. The food is of the hit or miss variety, I guess. The first time I played it safe with a simple spaghetti and marinara. The pasta was adequately cooked and in a large portion. The marinara, again, was very tasty. Others in my party had similar comments about their choices. The second time I went I decided to try the portobello ravioli. That was not a good choice. I ate 1/2 of 1 ravioli and took the rest to see if my garbage disposal of a husband (he will eat almost anything without complaint) would eat it. He stuffed a whole ravioli in his mouth and that was the end of that. The rest fed the bin. First, it was absolutely drowned in an Alfredo sauce that did not seem to be a fresh, housemade product (which it should always be because it is not difficult at all and would be a huge upgrade). The pasta was slightly undercooked, and the filling was more ricotta than mushroom. For a mushroom lover ordering mushroom ravioli...my expectations were high. Anyway. I'll go try the pizza. Hope it's good. Other reviews mention this place isn't worth takeout, which is why I returned to dine in at all.
