What a great find! We come here for the gyros! I ordered the chicken gyro with gyro french fries. SO GOOD!!! The gyro fries are an extra $1 but so worth it! Super casual place and it gets busy during lunch. Make sure to download the Fivestar app to earn free drinks and percentages of your lunch/dinner. I enjoyed my Beef shawarma Picado pita here and it was a generous portion that I brought more than half of it home to eat later. It was still delicious hours later and reheated. Quick and easy - you order at the counter and they deliver your food when ready. I like it and I'll be back. read more

I love this place! Freshly made food with reasonable prices. We ordered the steak Schwarma salad and it came with beets, veggies and plenty of lettuce. Regular size. Perfect as an entree. The steak was so flavorful and grilled to perfection. The second order we had was the gyro with Greek fries. The Gyro is topped with a heaping of meat, so much, I had plenty of leftover. Greek fries were an upcharge but came with tatziki sauce, feta and more gyro meat. Delicious! Can't wait to go back again, it's definitely a treat! read more

Chicken Pita was tasty. However, the chicken had no grilled marks like authentic Greek places have. That was kind of disappointing that they don't have the charcoal grill which gives the kebabs grilled taste. Fries were good. Owner was very sweet and friendly. read more

There aren't any Greek or Mediterranean restaurants in the immediate area, so I was excited to give the new Pita Cafe a try. Pros: - They have an easy online ordering system where you can order and pay. I love this convenience when I'm working. So much easier than having to call in and have my co-workers listen to what I'm having for lunch. - Portion size was large, I ordered the south west Greek salad and the chicken & gyro slices were cooked perfectly, and the tangy tzatziki dressing was delicious - The staff was very nice and gracious - My order was ready quickly, and I was able to pick it up right away with no wait time Con: - The salad was a little on the pricey side at $10, but I think that's par for the N. A good "fast-food" Greek option. I would liken it to a Firehouse Subs if Subway were the low end sandwich shop. Good quality, fast, and friendly. The front staff was very helpful and made a couple of suggestions as to portion sizing mid-order that really helped out my wallet and waist line. I would frequent this spot for a quick lunch if I lived local. Location is super clean as well! read more

Little eatery with gargantuan flavors!! This gem not only has the best Mediterranean food in the valley of the sun, but best service as well. The Gentleman preparing the food took the last plate to our table and the Woman (Probably Owner as well) brought us utensils when they were 5 feet away from us and in plain sight for self service. Pro tip: the grilled veggies are absolutely killer and have this hint of lemon and spices that I just can't coin!! There isn't anywhere whee you can get this kind of value for under $20. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE--went 5X in a week-long work trip. Yes, five! Hubby and I tried almost all the meats and falafel. Most delicious beef schwarma we've ever had and we eat Greek/Mediterranean /Persian food a LOT in SoCal. But everything here is delicious, fresh and made in house. Great homemade dressings, hummus and tzatziki. We even got two plates to go on our last day so we could eat them later on the trip back. Fresh, delicious and very affordable. Food that tasted great and fresh! Was not heavy or greasy as sometimes happens with the faster food options. Huge portions and fair prices. Highly recommended for a fast and easy option. I arrived to find a dude in a man bun taking my order. The combo special is 8.99 gyro or chicken pita with side (rice, greek salad, or fries) and a drink. I ordered a chicken pita with rice as my side. I also ordered a side of red pepper humus ( but not spicy) with pita slices. I had initially asked for no onions but he brought out onions with meal. They kindly told me they could remake my meal but I insisted I could just pick out the onions. I immediately felt so bloated for about an hour after the meal that I felt nauseous , due to some small onions I had eaten. I had plenty of left over rice and humus to take home. read more

We love Pitadale! For us, it's an easy place to pick-up a quick meal but you can dine in as well. It's typically the same guys working and they are always so appreciative of the business. They always repeat the order and make sure you have everything you need for your meal. The food is fresh, delicious, and the service is excellent. 1st time here, food is good. Beware, if you see a paper menu by the register, the prices listed are incorrect , look at the menu board. I failed to do so, got home, looked at my receipt and realized I was overcharged. I called , it became a argument between me and 1 of the gentleman. I tried explaining, if those are the incorrect prices, white them out or just remove the paper menus. Good business rule of thumb, just say sorry, came back in for the difference. The customer should not have to ask for the difference. read more

Ordered the chicken shawarma plate and paid for the up grades to Greek fries and hummus. The price was good for North Scottsdale. The food came fast. The chicken was seasoned well and had lots of flavor. The hummus and pita was good and the Greek fries were amazing. Our first visit off a Groupon and we really enjoyed the pitas and talking with the staff. I ordered the gyro and it was HUGE. I have never seen so much food for $10. I was stuffed and the lamb had a very good taste with a hint of salt. Most gyros I have had in the past were bland and needed the sauce to give it taste. My guest had the salad which was also two meals. See my pictures to see what I am talking about. I would recommend regular fries unless you like the Greek style with sauce on it. Probably the best value around for what you get in taste and quantity. Love the soda as they have the old fashion type of ice you do not see that often anymore. read more

Stopped at Pitadale tonight and had the chicken Mediterranean salad and I got the large and boy it was large. My husband got the beef Shwarma fries with a salad. Both are really good but I was more impressed with my salad full of greens, corn, cucumbers, and I added chicken and had a good amount. I would probably go back again and get a different salad just to see the differences. Overall we spent 30 bucks so not a bad price. read more

Wow, people must be out of their minds to even give this more than one star when there's so many other better Greek places. Chicken kabob not fresh and weirdly squeaky. Plus their sign is an obnoxious loud high pitch beeping, constantly. It's worse than if you were in a critical care room. I was so shocked I had to ask the man what is that noise? "it's the sign" he said and he didnt even apologize for its obnoxious beeping or say he's gonna fix it or anything. Was just arrogant about it. Well never again! If you like to be in a non-relaxing place with a constant high-pitched beeping like a heart is being monitored - enjoy! read more

Great place, food is amazing. Portions are terrific. The guys there are very nice and welcoming. The deal on the weekend for free kids meal w entree is incredible!!!! That order at Persian room across the street is more than twice the price! These guys are better than Persian room in every single way except for ambiance and I don't go to restaurants for ambiance, I go there for the food. Don't waste your time going to any other pita place, these guys are the best by far! read more

I love their lunch specials. I always get the Chicken Shawarma Pita with either a side of Lentil Soup or Yellow Rice. Chicken is tender- though not what I know as traditional shawarma- more like a seared chicken breast- but very tender. The service is warm and efficient and the place very tidy. read more

I'm a huge Greek food snob and this place is THE BEST I've ever had!! Everything they make here is so delicious. Their lamb gyro is perfectly seasoned and cooked, you can eat it just on its own it's that good! I usually get the Mediterranean pita, which has their amazing tzatziki sauce on it and a side of Greek rice, a few times a week!! Huge bonus: the staff is extremely friendly and has AWAYS gotten our order right which both go a long ways in my book! After being forced to leave from the Wine Warehouse (we weren't drinking, see review if you're interested in hearing about terrible service), we moved our party to this lovely gem. One employee was so sweet as she set up tables so our party could all sit together, brought our food to us outside, and checked in on us regularly. On a previous trip, members of my party ordered pizza rather than Greek Sandwiches because the pizza was,l they said, that good. The sandwiches are so full that you cannot fold them over. The Pitas are generously filled. You won't be able to fold the pita in half. You can get yourself a knife or a fork at the soda machine. This is a nice, clean, and quiet place to have lunch or dinner. There is a big selection to choose from. If the food is not enough to get you there, then Alidi and Ikea just do it. IKEA has not opened yet. Aldi is already open.
