The manager was training our server and she had a handheld device which placed our order with the kitchen and was used for paying the bill. We both ordered the pulled pork on a bake potato (that night's special) and a salad. The salad was mostly shredded iceberg lettuce with croutons. My blue cheese dressing was better than most I've tasted at this type of restaurant. The potato was huge and was cooked well. The topping, which consisted of bbq sauce, lots of this sliced fried onions and very little pulled pork was pretty good. Both my wife and were disappointed by how little pulled pork there was. It seemed like the fried onions were used to "bulk up" the amount of topping. We'd come back, but we would not order a special dish.

The breading could have used a bit more seasoning, but they were pretty good. The eggplant parmesan had a great flavor and was a good size for being the lunch portion. The Diet Coke was average. I had to wait about 5 to be seated (totally normal) but I was seated and just ignored for a long time, the waiters/waitresses kept getting mixed up on my things (except for Sam, he was great) and it took a while for things I asked for (like a water) to show up. It's totally fine, not a deal-breaker for me but not the usual five star Cattlemen's experience. Inside is great. I don't know why, but I had never seen the gallery, and inside was a handful of artwork, averaging around $150 - $200 per work. The restaurant is clean and comfortable in many ways, and that's really nice to come to after a long day. The cook, after chatting with the bar staff for awhile, stopped by our table and asked us if we'd ordered food. We said "yes" and we've been waiting quite awhile for it.
