This location took care of my two pets so well! I needed a place for my pups to stay overnight for two days as I was going out of town. beyond amazing communication. I received photos and videos of my pups. The live camera option was also very soothing. I could visually check in on them and see how they were doing! I absolutely loved the cage free options they had (beds, floor, padding).... as I do not have a yard or big enough place in my home for my puppies to always roam as free. I'm so glad that they got to spend time with other pups and lounge on whatever places they felt comfortable! It looks like they were the life of the pup party! We had our Simba stay for 6 nights, while we moved into our new apartment. The staff were so inviting and genuinely happy to work there, you can feel it walking in and talking with them. Simba would love to go back I'm sure of it, and he will in the future. read more

My dog Jersey sheds a lot. I mean a lot. We knew we should brush him often to help de-shed him but for now we don't really have time to do it. Then we found Pixee's Paws on Yelp. I talked with Cecilia. She was very informative and guided me through everything. So I took Jersey there for his first groom ever and boy, I was not disappointed. Every staff are very friendly and fast. Took only an hour. They did such a good job. Jersey still sheds but not as much as before. It's a win for us. Plus they gave Jersey a free scarf, which he loves it so much. Totally recommend Pixee. Will definitely be back! read more

This place is phenomenal! They treated our pets like they were their own. We felt comfortable and confident leaving our senior and young dog with them! The vibe of the place is so comforting when you enter. There are cameras so you can check in on your pups if you are missing them, and they sent texts and picture updates each day. They have daycare activities to keep dogs mentally and physically stimulated and nap time. They keep the place super clean and dogs are well cared for. Our 3 babies were happy and came home content and exhausted! I cannot thank these folks enough for taking care of our fur babies, and allowing me to have some much needed peace of mind while away! I can't say enough great things about Pixee's Paws! I have had my dog stay with them multiple times and I couldn't be happier. You can tell that the whole company loves animals and they took care of my dog like he was 1 of theirs. We had to board our dog for an extended stay while our house was under reconstruction. Pixee's was very accommodating and flexible when our timeline kept getting extended, and our dog had to stay even longer than expected. The staff at Pixee's kept us up to date with how he was doing with daily picture updates. They took excellent care of our furbaby, and it really made this experience less stressful for our dog and for us. Knowing he was being well cared for in a clean and safe environment and also getting lots of attention and walks gave us such peace of mind. I highly recommend Pixee's for anyone who needs short or long term boarding or day care. We will only be using Pixee's from now on to take care of our dog when we need boarding. read more

The worst haircut my dog has ever received. The insides of her ears are completely irritated/nicked, she's cut very uneven everywhere, her tail is cut extremely short, and she doesn't look like herself at all. I went based on the good reviews and left highly disappointed. Ugh. ): she spent the whole day in her cage because she was so traumatized by this place. I worked for this company less than a week!!! Wow is all I have to say. I have been in the pet industry for 10 years working alongside vets, assisting in surgerys, bathing, grooming, managing a doggie daycare in downtown Dallas, and I own my own grooming business in Seagoville Tx. I have NEVER in my time working with animals have I seen a shop so poorly run. Not one person in that building has more than 6 months experience handling dogs. The employee turnover rate is extremely high considering that have only been open a year. Owners are hardly ever there. They communicate to employees through txt. There is no structure or management. Vaccines are never checked. The owners of the business have them all in email form and their is no way to see who is current or not because nothing is entered in the computer. I noticed a dog coming in for grooming was not current on destemper or parvo so I called the vet to verify... The pet was overdue so I explained this to the pet parent and she said she would go to the vet and be back. The owners of the business told me I should have taken the dog anyway because dogs don't need shots every year. Coming from a vet tech who has worked along vets for a long time... Unless your vet says otherwise, your dog needs shots ever year to stay healthy. They offer the bordetella vaccine at this place but do not call and let the patients vet know, so who knows how many dogs have been over vaccinated due to their poor record keeping. The trainer is fresh out of school and to my knowledge has never had a training client. She is a price of work let me tell you. At 20 years old she should know how to take care of her own dog. The day I walked out it was because of her. She keeps her own personal dog for free at the business and demanded I take out feed and clean up after her dog... She told me I hated dogs because I didn't clean up crap and pee out of her dogs kennel... Just to give a picture about my character... I rushed to a previous employer of mine in downtown Dallas durring the riots because rioters were smashing windows... As I was moving dogs to safety I had a giant rock come flying through the window at my head. I would risk my life to save an animal. I was so upset I excused myself and called the owner... Who told me to go home and calm down and she would call me the next day to discuss the situation... The next day she told me I walked off the job. This is why they can not keep experienced workers... We know our worth. If you don't treat us right we have the job skills to pick up a job the same day. They hired me to help run the business and give it structure. Which I did for the few days I was there but it's a bit reduculas not to address a situation between employees considering YOU OBVIOUSLY NEED ALL THE HELP YOU CAN GET. If you are a pet parent choose your pooch daycare wisely. If you are an experienced person looking for a job... RUN! read more

I'm very impressed with the way this facility is run. Extremely well organized and staff was caring. Asked a lot of questions about the dogs personality, traits, likes, dislikes etc. Very efficient check in/out process. My dog took a liking to them and followed their verbal instructions. I brought my puppy chubbs to Pixies for boarding while me and my boyfriend were out of town. When we got back and picked him up, he had scratches all over his nose and some were scabbed from bleeding. I got no call that he was involved with in a fight with another dog. I love Pixees Paw Palace! They love on your pet as if they were their own. I would not board my sweet girl anywhere else-no kennels and someone stays there to keep them company. The owners are very hands on and I feel so comfortable knowing they watch the cameras even if they are not there.
