Chalupps Pizza Was given the wrong pizza and they refused to fix it. For 6 years I've ordered the same thing. Ground beef pizza. My husband got it home and it was sausage. I instantly knew something was off. Turn the light on, inspect it, it's sausage. I don't eat pork. My husband calls and they deny it. They said no it was beef. He was hung up on. I call, was extremely polite, explained who I was and how my husband had been hung up on. I got the manager who says oh it was written down wrong. So he puts me on hold, talks to the owner who says they won't refund or do anything to fix it. I will never eat here again. Last December I spent $300 on a major pre order for a big graduation party. $50 of which was a tip. They have gotten so much money from me over the years. Never again. Shame on you chalupps. You admit you made a mistake and refuse to fix it. read more

If I could give a ZERO that's what I would give. Ordered 8 large pizzas for my staff at 11:10am. At 11:45 am went to pick up and they "forgot" to call and tell me my order was cancelled because their oven broke. Now no staff lunch for very busy day. Ok... it's only pizza. But c'mon this is a sad example... I have never left a review before but we eat pizza only when we are too hungry to wait. Chalupa's is supposed to be open till nine. We got there shortly after eight. The chairs were already up on the tables & they said they closed the front early... We had planned on eating in the restaurant rather than taking the pizza back to the hotel. We ordered the SUPREME-- supposed to be loaded with pepperoni sausage mushrooms onions black olives and extra cheese. There was maybe one whole mushroom thinly sliced and sprinkled over it. There were 5 thin slices of pepperoni--not even one little piece of pepperoni per slice & we had to put on our glasses to find the tiny pieces of sausage. Maybe 1/16 of a bell pepper & maybe 6 thin slices of black olives. It was dry... hardly any sauce on it ... and little cheese. We wonder if we got the wrong order but upon inspection all the ingredients listed were on it. Ugh Had the chairs still been on the floor and we were there to eat that pizza we would have returned it and gotten our money back . Chalupo's is not such a good spot for pizza. Go somewhere else. We went to Chalupos because Pizanos is closed til next week. read more

Good, standard pizza. The most common flavor choices, nothing pretentious. I love the option of the mini - perfect size for a single person and priced accordingly. Order was ready on time, in 20 minutes. This is a take out style place - a few parking spots dedicated to take out, across from the local grocery store. read more

We had some guests in town and needed some good fast pizza. We ordered a couple meat lovers, pepperoni, and supreme pizzas. They were ready on time and were delicious. The supreme pizza was the belle of the ball. The prices were fair, and the sauce was not too much. read more

We came here 9-4 for a late lunch/early dinner. We were on our way back to Sierra Bonita and decided to stop here for some pizza. We decided on one pizza, the chicken Alfredo and a meat lovers calzone. Every thing was so good! Food quality was great, portions were generous, and our service was wonderful! The restroom could use some TLC but other than that, everything was amazing! We will for sure be back again on our next trip read more

The restaurant is super clean. The front customer service register. People are completely efficient. Helpful and friendly. The food was not bad at all, act stop it was aggressive stop it was not bad at all I was actually surprised a classic pizza parlor, and it sure beats the heck out of Taos Pizza kitchen. read more

Decent pizza, we order the super gigante plain cheese for the kiddo when we host a party or provide for the soccer team.

The pizza was surprisingly good for late carry out. It was fresh, nice crust, and even were able to accommodate our request of ranch on the side. They lose a star because when we called they said they no longer were delivering that late even though it said they did online (which is why we called). When we got there to pick it up they turned off their lights on our way out and the employees were talking about leaving early. Seemed like they were trying to leave early (at least an hour before close) so they didn't have to deliver to us. This turned us off but at least we got a good late dinner. We came here at 8:50 PM on a Sunday night after trying three other restaurants and towels it were supposed to be open but or closed when we arrived. And even though they were only 10 minutes away from closing, they were actually opened! The young man behind the counter was really nice. The pizza is really delicious, especially the crust. Need tasty pizza to feed the crew while in Taos. Chalupp's has got you covered. Ordered two extra extra large pizzas and they did us up. The Hawaiian with jalapeños, extra cheese, and extra sauce was spot on and the kids loved the half pepperoni/half bacon and onion. We got a 24' supreme/veggie pizza with two house salads. The veggie pizza was my favorite oh and their homemade ranch is delicious too! For a speciality pizza that comes with extra cheese, the amount of cheese was barely enough to qualify as regular cheese...along with hardly any sauce, which made for a very dry and disappointing pizza. I would have paid for "extra, extra" cheese and sauce if I knew you were going to be so cheap with your ingredients. I've had way better from Chalupp's in the past. I hope you get back to having better quality pizzas. I wondered why on a Saturday night you were so dead....maybe that's why. read more

Cheap pizza, quick service. Highly recommend for large parties. This establishment has never screwed up my order, which I cannot say the same for Pizza Hut as well as Domino's. Parking is horrible, recommend parking in Smith's and walking over. Call in your order, and you will be in and out in no time. read more

Meat pizza was very good I give a 4! CALZONES ARE NOTHING BUT THICK AND DOUGHY SO A 0 rating. RAW THICK DOUGH INSIDE WITH VERY LITTLE Of anything else. I ordered two where I paid $1.40 extra for each topping, but there was maybe two pieces of each topping inside a large calzone. I took the toppings out and pulled off most of the bread which was so chewy and inedible. There was hardly anything inside the calzones where the pizza was very plentiful. A good experience... I give the pizza a solid B+. The gluten free crust was also pretty decent. They have seating, but pick-up and delivery are obviously their main business. Yeah, the kids working there aren't super friendly, but who cares... I didn't go there to sip tea and chit-chat with the staff. They took my order over the phone, prepared it correctly and quickly, and the transaction was seamless. I'll call them again when I want a fast, take-home pizza. read more

Pretty average pizza place with horrendous service. The staff is rude and unpleasant. If you want quality pizza in Taos try Pizanos or Outback. Mando Italiano is another good choice for pizza with excellent customer service. read more
