I was recommended Pizza 216 by my mom and brother. I was headed to the Jonas Brothers concert at Rocket just a couple streets over. We were greeted by the hostess upon entry. I asked if there was a separate gluten free menu or if it was on the menu itself, and it is on the menu as is. We were sat very promptly and our waiter came by a couple minutes later. Carlos was his name. Very attentive and quick to get our drink and food orders in quick. The restaurant/bar was pretty full with sports on all of the TVs with music playing. The food came out fairly quickly. I got to eating very fast so we could get to the concert quickly. The food was very warm; the GF crust was thin and held together very well. I had red sauce, sausage and pepperoni. The size of the pizza wasn't too overwhelming, I was able to eat the entire pizza and toppings. Such a fun place. Brick oven pizza. Very fun atmosphere!! Well done 216!!

After flying all day, having a flight be delayed and dealing with airport food, this was the place to look forward to. The location of this hotspot is absolutely perfect inside the most beautiful Hyatt I've ever seen. Not only does Cleveland rock but Cleveland is beautiful and this pizza place should represent Cleveland because it's the best. The airplane food made my stomach a bit queasy so had to opt for Kevin McAllister's ultimate favorite: cheese pizza just for me. Wow, instant happiness. Since I have to come into town for work, this is the place that I will be going to reward myself after long arduous days.

Came here after a long day at a conference. Located in the arcade which houses the Hyatt, it's quite a charming, in the know location. Had great company of course, and this was the perfect place for a large group to chitchat post conference. The place was accommodating, allowing us to move a table to fit everyone. Our waitress was fabulous. Most people ordered a personal pizza and seem to really enjoy it. I ordered the buffalo salad and it was huge. Very tasty. We'll have to remember it next time I come into town.

Was very cold and New Year's Eve. Snowing hard and icy out. Came in and thought it was the weekend. It was happy hour got 2 pizzas for $5 each and was a decent size. Got 1 for myself and 1 for my friend. Was so good on a cold day and came out quick. Wood fired pizza and perfect crispy crust. Perfect size for 1 adult. Food was not good at the party we went to later that night so this was perfect to steady our hunger. Server was polite and patient. Really like this place and it is located in the arcade.

UPDATED REVIEW: I returned back to Pizza 216 in early October 2024 and also in mid-October 2024. I'll definitely be back in 2025 to support this local pizza business. I sat outside on October 11, 2024 with a friend in the early evening. It was a warm weather day so I definitely recommend sitting outside when you visit if the weather is nice. ($12.50) MARGHERITA PIZZA (small). 5/5 STARS -- I got it without the red sauce (it comes with an olive oil base already). The menu describes it as "Original red sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil, olive oil, and pecorino romano." -- this pizza was very good and especially loved that it is a light pizza with no meat on it - 11 Oct. 2024 ($12.75) SPICY PIE PIZZA (small) - (4/5 STARS) -- I used a $10 off coupon that I was given from a previous visit. I ordered the Spicy Pie pizza to go. The menu describes it as "Local sausage, cheese blend, spicy red, mushrooms, and pepperoncinis." This one was good but not as good, in my opinion, as the margherita pizza which tasted fresher. Still though, I liked the sausage and mushrooms in the spicy pie pizza but I wished it had more flavour because it wasn't spicy at all - 26 Oct. 2024 TIP: Next time I dine-in, I hope to bring a cash tip for the servers because per a Yelp review that I read below, the owner keeps all tips when customers tip using their debit/credit card which is unfortunate, if true.

We ended up coming here twice. The pizza is good but the restaurant needs some work. We came Sunday evening after the baseball, but they were only serving pizza, we tried to order a salad too and couldn't - was kinda weird. The restaurant needed a good sweep, food all over the floor! We noticed a huge nasty liquid dripping on our booth too and moved because of it - they never cleaned it off and when we came back the next day it was still there! Our draft beer looked very flat. Server started her closing duties and was very difficult to get to pay our tab. Came the next day for Happy Hour, sat at the bar, went with bottled beer this time. Pizza was again good but the rest of the place needs work. The pierogi pizza needed some crunch like bacon.

Sausage & Pepperoni Pizza well done

Pizza 216 absolutely delivered. We ordered our sausage and pepperoni pizza well done, and it was perfection from the first bite. The pepperoni had that perfect crisp, the sausage was rich and flavorful, and the cheese-to-sauce ratio was spot on. The dough truly stole the show it was airy on the inside, beautifully chewy, and finished with just the right amount of char. Getting it well done took it to another level. What really stood out was that there was zero sloppiness to the pizza. Each slice held up perfectly, wasn't greasy at all, and never felt heavy. That said, the char was so good we definitely left with a few char marks on our mouths after eating... and honestly? It was worth every bite. The garlic knots were just as impressive. Soft, warm, and loaded with garlicky flavor, they were buttery without being oily and paired perfectly with the marinara. The service was great friendly, welcoming, and efficient which made the whole experience even better. They were super quick with getting orders out and always made sure we had everything we needed. We were visiting from Vegas and stumbled across Pizza 216 while walking around and looking for places to eat. Finding such a standout spot tucked inside the arcade made it feel like a true hidden gem. Between the incredible flavor, perfectly well-done crust, no-grease slices, great service, and unique location, Pizza 216 turned a casual stop into a meal we're still thinking about. Would 100% come back already plan your return to before you've even left.

I'm a pizza lover, but unfortunately it wasn't worth the hype. The Spicy pizza had great sausage but the banana peppers overpower it and only offer the one dimension of spicy. The Buffalo pizza was limited on topping and overloaded on crust. I get that it's woodfire pizza but I just didn't see the 5 star reviews on every platform. Good barfood pizza if you've had a few but not worth the trip if you're a foody.

Im pretty judgmental on pizza being from Jersey originally. However, this place hit the mark. Its right on euclid so it makes a great before show dinner spot if heading to playhouse square. The pizzas are delicious and they have some unique variations(such as the periogi pizza). The staff is always super friendly and attentive plus the cocktails are well made. Great food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices make this a must visit.

I was impressed with the Enzo pizza and garlic knots! Fresh and delicious. Sports fans can enjoy the numerous TVs above bar while you wash down the knock me off my feet pizza flavor that I his makes here! We came here after our conference at the Huntington center for dinner on a Monday night before the football game started so it was not too crowded but I can see other patrons know this place has great chefs! A lot of real estate for groups and easy to find.

    Entrance decor! Very cool!

We came here last night about 40 min before they closed. It wasn't busy since it was towards the end of the night. The girl that helped us was friendly. She let us know they were only serving pizza and garlic knots. That was fine. We didn't want to overeat at a late hour anyway and we understood that they want to get out at a decent time. We only ordered a large "The King". We got our food pretty quickly too! Fast enough that we were able to order and eat it and be out before they closed....and it was really yummy. The large (8 slices) was plenty for the 3 of us. We love the brick oven cooked dough. We're not from the area but if we ever come back, we would definitely come here again!

Part of the Pierogi Week quest we are on!! Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and spot on. We started with the pierogis of course followed by brick oven pizza. They even had a pierogi style pizza!! Both were truly amazing. They had a gluten free option for the crust. A definite I will come back. Typical bar atmosphere!

The pizza is a 7.1. Service was okay. At its current price the pizza thinks is a 9.4.

The wait for the food order (which was delicious) was reasonable given there was a private event happening, although it did seem the bartender was stretched a little thin, taking care of the 6-7 people at the bar, making drinks for another area, and putting glasses away from a previous shift. I had the meatballs and an Italian chopped salad, both very good. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Since the Metropolitan is home to an apartment complex, an upscale hotel, a rooftop bar, a dog park, a Pilates studio, a theater, a basement vault bar, and a "high-end" eatery, there's a whole lot of people constantly coming and going. Sitting at the four (five?) two-person tables situated right at the balcony railing means you can easily lean over and watch people come and go while sipping your drinks. Unlike the rest of the bars in the hotel, I was told there was no drink menu at the Ledger, and the bartender (who waited my table!) simply asked what flavor profile I was desiring tonight. The resulting drink he made was honestly good, and I really enjoyed it. Zero idea what was in it to ever order it again (and he was really overworked to ask!), but it was a neat experience of a "craft your own experience". There were a few beers on tap. I'm unsure about wine. Centro's food menu (restaurant downstairs) appears to be available here. There's a single unisex bathroom within steps of the bar, and the regular hotel lobby bathrooms are down a floor. As conference rooms are nearby this bar, I'd also probably guess there's a large conference room bathroom block too, but I didn't find that one. The rest of the bars and restaurants in the Metropolitan tend to take most of the attention here, and the Ledger has a much more laid-back, chill vibe. A lot of people were watching a sports game (baseball, I think?) on the TV behind me. With the smaller space and wide "open" area of the full lobby, the Ledger feels like your calmest, quietest bar option out of the available places at the Metropolitan.

Food is standard bar food at reasonable prices. This is the place to go if you want to feed your inner child chicken tenders and waffle fries. Top notch tendies. Southwest rolls are also good. Lots of people stop in before or after shows at Playhouse Square (sometimes even the dancers from the Broadway series). Often it's quiet, sometimes it's packed. Moe's has Last Call Trivia on Wednesday nights at 7 with a small but mighty regular following. It's a good place to play as there aren't typically any other loud, non-playing groups to listen over. It's becoming less of a hidden gem every year, but that's great news in my book.
