Tried this place before when it was a food truck, now they have their own building next to Haucks. Breakfast AF shares the same building with Pizza AF and is open during the day. This restaurant really reminds you of old time fashioned restaurants. They have some old nostalgic Knick Knacks and some other cool things on the inside. It's definitely worth checking out. Anytime I order a slice or two from here, I forget how big the slices are. You could make 2 slices out of one. I always get Pepperoni and a Cheese slice. I can make extra slices out of the ones I have and save for later they are that big. I'm not a fan of the green stuff they put on there, other than that I have no complaints. I have been here a few times and other than waiting for sometime for the pizza, I have had a great experience here. Definitely one of my favorite pizza places in the Ville. read more

We've been looking forward to trying out Pizza AF and finally had the opportunity to last night. Our family arrived a little before 7 pm. It was a nice night and the entry way was open and the smallish restaurant inside was brightly lit and inviting. Menus are available as you enter, and it's counter order and then sit down. We ordered a good amount of food including cheese pizza slice, pepperoni slice, caesar salad, eight garlic knots and a calzone. We were quoted 35 minutes. The restaurant was mostly empty, but we decided to head out back before sitting down. I didn't know it was attached to Hauck's outside - there's ping pong, corn hole, a playground for kiddos and lots of seating. Of course, not a table was available but we played games in the back for about 30 minutes and then headed inside to wait for food. This is when it started going downhill. We wait, and waited, and waited. Around the one hour mark I stood by the counter to inquire about our food. At that point a few slices had been sitting in the window for a while. 10 minutes later I found out they were ours and asked if I could go ahead and take them. Staff needs to be more realistic with their time estimates and we should have been apologized to or provided something for our wait. The food was okay, but way overpriced. $7 for a slice of cheese pizza. It wasn't special or loaded down with cheese. My son was okay with his slice of pepperoni, but it was $8.25. He said the crust was really hard, probably from sitting in the window under lights so long. Garlic knots were typical and very greasy. Calzone was good but not oversized for $14. Salad was fresh, but dressing was very thick and had an interesting flavor. Overall, it's was a long wait and the food wasn't memorable. read more

My family and I love coming to this area to eat, and Pizza AF had been on the list for a while. Yesterday we finally stopped by and the pizza was good and HUGE. However, it was very expensive. We got sauces with it that were all $1 each but varied in size which confused us. We also got garlic knots, and they said they don't have cheesy bread but could make us half a pizza that was just cheese and resembled cheesy bread, so we got that as well. Everything was good, but nothing stood out especially to me. It did take about an hour to get our food as well, which is longer than I would've thought for a pizza place. It was a very fun experience and I'm happy I tried it! But I wouldn't say that, for pizza, it stuck out too much. read more

I've seen this food truck in Nulu a few times so I had to check it out finally. Their slices are $7 +$1 for each topping. You can get a whole pizza "hoe pie" for $24 +$4 for each topping. Ended up being $30 for a whole pizza which is pricey but it was a good size pizza. The pizza was super tasty! Huge slices and great crust. Check them out if you see them around town! read more

Had a delicious slice of cheese pizza and a hearty Caesar salad last night. This place is connected to the Hauck's corner multi-plex. So you can grab a beer at the outdoor patio bar and bring it in to this pizza place. They had ample seating and clean bathrooms. Would definitely go back again. read more

Second time coming to Pizza AF but not getting their pizza. From all reports their pizza is very good but I admit we are for hard The Post fans for their NY Style Pizza so we remain loyal. From the moment you arrive at the eatery on Goss Ave you are immediately struck by the inviting ambience of the entrance to the clean and pleasantly decorated interior. I have never seen this place with our customers. Since we didn't order Pizza for lunch we went the sandwich route. Husband ordered The Italian Job, a classic Italian hero, just had them leave off the bacon. It was seasoned perfectly and correctly topped the sandwich with an Italian vinegarette ( unlike another local restaurant that also adds mayo...not italian at all). The dandruff was a hit. I opted for the capes sandwich which consisted of fresh mozzarella, juicy tomatoes along with oven roasted tomatoes, basil and a balsamic dressing. I would be happy to eat one of these every week. Unfortunately we were so engrossed in enjoying our lunch that the only thing we could have taken a picture of was empty plates. Was sitting outside on the Hauck's patio and they had a long line for drinks/food so walked into Breakfast/Pizza AF. Ordered at the bar. (They also had a few canned beer options in a fridge.) The food took a little while, but really enjoyed the garlic knots and the "slice" of pizza that we ordered that was huge! Would go again. read more

Great spot, decent pie ... is it like papalinos? Maybe. I thought that's what I was looking for but my pizza sophistication has grown since then and pizza AF isnt quite there yet. read more

We ordered a whole pie for about $30, one topping, split across halves. Pepperoni on one side and sautéed mushrooms on the other. We expected a fresh pizza, but to our disappointment when we opened the box we realized we were given 4 of the big slices reheated and cut in half. The pizza was good, but dry. It feels disingenuous to receive reheated slices when you order a whole pie. The people were friendly and service was timely. We also ordered a couple of garlic knots. A neighborhood fella put together a block party and brought in Pizza AF, offering free slices! It was the dope! The slices are HUGE, the crust is a thinner NY style (my fave), and there are actual Italian spices used so it ain't bland. Food 4/5 + Me and my partner got the waffle fries and chicken. I have a lot of food allergies and they informed me that my food would not come in contact with seafood. We got our food and everything tasted amazing AF! - My only complaints were that my chicken was small AF and they gave us very little AF syrup. I wish they could have threw in an extra chicken strip. Service 5/5 Everyone was friendly and tried really hard to make sure my special requests due to my allergies were taken care of. Ambiance 3/5 The water machine was down and drink stations were kinda Buffett style something I haven't seen since pre-covid. The seats and tables were clean. Ordered a pizza and a salad while at Hauk's on a busy night, I was expecting a wait and told an hour. $42 plus tax and tip. After an hour our buzzer never buzzed. I went to the counter waited while I was being ignored. Finally someone asked me what my number was. Gave me a pizza that for all accounts had been waiting for awhile. $50 for cold pizza and warm salad. To make matters worse the cold pizza was mediocre at best. No apologies was told I must have missed the vibrating buzzer that was in my back pocket. Never again. read more

Good first: staff was incredibly kind and welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Everyone there seemed both happy and hard at work. Mediocre next: inside is small but cozy, mostly conducive to outdoor service with the patio out front and shared garden space in back. Music was horrible (think upbeat elevator Muzak that wouldn't be out of place in a big box gym...very odd choice). Bad: I got 2 large pies (Pig and Forager) and a small salad...with a 20% tip this was a little over $100. They tasted no better than the already well established place across the street.
