I did had the great service. The bartender/waitress did great job to check on me and everything else. I was there for the Louisville Pizza Week. I did went there likely three years ago so it had been a while. The parking can be tricky but only if you get lucky. I had no issues. Plus I did not know that they provide code for free parking so I keep that in mind. I had Noble Funk beer and then casear salad. The casear salad was good. Then I had 10" Buffalo Chicken and it was really good. I enjoyed that it came out piping hot. I would like to come back to try other pizza and meals. read more

Oh Wick's, I never appreciated you until I became an adult. Wick's is my husband's favorite pizza place so this was the location he picked for his birthday dinner. I love how the building still looks like an old school pizza joint. They have the old lamps above the tables, TV's with the box backs and chairs with outdated upholstery. It's very nostalgic for. Our waitress Tiffany was fantastic. She was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. She was amazing. We ended up getting the appetizer sampler which came with wings, potato skins and cheese quesadillas. Everyone loved it. The group also ordered a pepperoni pizza and the Wicky cheese. I only had the cheese pizza but it was fantastic. It has five cheeses on it so of course it was good. We had a good time at Wick's and we can't wait for our next visit read more

This place was really good, and might just be one of my new favorite pizza places in town. We had two items for the food, breadsticks and the big wick. The breadsticks were quite good, above average I would say. The big wick was extremely tasty. Lots of toppings and good quality. We got a 14 inch and we had plenty of left over (it was just me and my partner) so in the future, probably would just be fine with a 12 inch. Regardless it was great. They have a great beer selection. I like Guinness draft and they had a great offering at a good price. It seems like all draft is one dollar off during happy hour so a 20 oz glass was 7 bucks, good deal. Service was great and friendly. I will definitely come back! read more

Let's start by the parking half time the parking scanner doesn't work!so trying to eat there can we a worry if your going to get towed or a ticket,so your losing your guest! Is that worth it ? We celebrated my daughters birthday at wicks and the whole staff helped make the experience great! The pizzas were hot and fresh, the service was great, and we even were able to section off into a semi-private space so all the tweens could be as loud as they wanted. Love! read more

I've been meaning to come here forever, I feel like it's so distinctively located in the Highlands. I finally got a chance to come in for Louisville Pizza Week. I had heard such good things from some cool young kids I know about Wick's being the best pizza in Louisville, and I couldn't wait. I placed an order for carry out. The staff was super chill and let me sit in a booth while I waited. I was scoping out the locale, it was much bigger on the inside than what the outside makes it out to be. And it was pretty dark, but in a cool, established pizza place way. I got my pizza and I was on my way. Even though I got it to go I had to sneak a little taste. I was really happy with it! Definitely one of my favorites I've had in the city. I'd love to come back and I would definitely recommend. read more

Our server was very busy waiting on other tables and working the bar, but she was very nice to us and she did her best to take care of us. Great place to watch sports, but the bar area is small. One of our first dates was at this Wick's location. So after seeing they were making heart shaped pizza we thought it would be fitting to order take out from here for Valentine's Day. We placed our order online early afternoon & selected our pick up time. Our order consisted of Buffalo wings, cheese sticks & a heart shaped pizza. The online ordering was easy to navigate. On our arrival they were just finishing boxing up our food. The staff were friendly & efficient. We live less than 10 minutes away from this location. On our arrival home our food was still hot & tasted delicious. Our left over pizza & wings re-heated great the next day. Looking forward to more pizza & wings from Wicks in the future. Pretty damn good pizza! It wasn't a thin crust, and it wasn't a deep dish. It was perfectly in-between. Lots and lots of toppings! Our table ordered a 1/2 Mighty Meaty Wick and 1/2 Big Wick. Very good. But the best was the Veggie Delight. Add Jalapenos and Pepperoni! Yes, it was no longer a veggie pizza, but damn it was delicious. Service was quick, and she kept our drinks filled. Of course, I had some very cold draft craft beers. Great selection of about 10-12 beers on tap and a huge selection of bottles and cans as well. Inside there's a few TVs playing sports. My fiancée took me to Louisville for a bourbon trail trip and one evening we decided to drive around the city to get a better sense of it. We got hungry and wound up at Wick's. It happened to be their open mic night, which would often be annoying, but they had great performers. Their waitress(?) who hosted it and performed several songs would have been a great find at a bar in a "music city" like Nashville or New York. The service was great. We got their pizza with all of the meats... and, boy, they didn't skimp in the meats. And the pizza was pretty good. We got the pizza skins as an appetizer because, while that's not objectively a great food, I love it. They had a great beer list, a pretty solid whiskey list, and a competent full bar. I love Wick's! It's been a popular Louisville pizza joint for many years now, but somehow I've only made it out here a handful of times. Their pizza, the service, the atmosphere... everything's always pretty great. They even have another area that is more of a bar/hangout scene, that leads to a nice outside patio. Their chicken bacon ranch pizza is probably my favorite, I'd highly recommend it! I'm updating my review from 2 years ago. I didn't leave much detail in my very first review but, now I'd like to add more. This lovely pizza place is located in a very busy part of The Highlands. Parking can be a pain, you can either park next to the building if you're lucky, or there is the street parking. The building isn't hard to miss as it is at Baxter Ave across from Chase Bank. Now for the food, I have had opportunity to try their other foods. Italian sub is a very good sub and so is the Turkey sub. That's my pick for sandwiches. Calzones and pizza I love my meats with those. Wings are ok. The cheese bread is also a good one. This visit I did the upsize Thursday special. With that (for example) I got a 12 inch pizza for the price of a 10 inch pizza. Yeah this place can be pricey but, if you're like me and like to save money, I recommend upsize Thursday, their lunch specials during the days of the week, and they also have coupons. I did my order by phone and didn't have to wait very long. And when I went to pick it up I didn't wait long either. Employees made me feel welcome. Ordered delivery May 2020, and it was overall quite decent. Really pleased with the affordable price and it was delivered in a timely manner. Plus it's one of the only places in Louisville with an Alfredo pizza! It was a little dry when it arrived (see photo), but I won't knock the place too much for that, as all restaurants at the time were overwhelmed with adjusting to delivery/takeout needs of the city. My wife and I have been eating here for years and tonight was the worst pizza I have ever had. I called in for a carryout order. When I went to pick it up I checked the order and the pizza looked overcooked. I asked the person at the counter if it looked a little toasty she just sniffed and laughed. I asked about having it remade she said sure it will be about 45 min. I asked why would they send something like that out she said that the pizza is to standard I explained that I have never had one look like that she said if I did not want it cooked that much I was supposed to tell them not to cook it all the way. I needed to eat something to take my meds and took it even though the crust was too hard to eat along with the burnt cheese. If this is there "standard" now it has greatly gone downhill. read more

My family has been Wick's fans for as long as I can remember. Their pizza, plus the atmosphere is amazing. The location is in the heart of the Highlands so there's plenty to do in the area. There is parking available on the side, in the front, and behind In a small parking lot. We recently went and had another great experience. We chose a corner booth on the bar side and sat immediately. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive. We ordered the largest "Mighty Meaty" they offered for us and two friends. It was plenty with a few slices left over. We also got their breadsticks and they were delicious also. As usual, we had a wonderful experience. We'll be back! read more

We are in town and stayed at the Omni downtown. Asked the concierge for good pizza recommendation and this was one of the places that delivered and was highly recommended. It was fantastic. We had a mushroom, ham and pepperoni and apparently some people complain about too much cheese but that's ridiculous. All the toppings are layered under the cheese and the crust was perfectly crisp. Just the right amount of cheese in my opinion! We also had cheesy garlic toast which was really good and my husband is a cherry cheesecake fanatic so when he found out they had a cherry cheesecake wheel he had to have it. It was terrific. On Jan 6, my friends and I came here for lunch since where we were suppose to go was close. For appetizers we got the Breadwicks, breadsticks topped with garlic herb butter served with marinara sauce and we also ordered beer cheese. Everyone ordered salad and for something sweet we ordered the Wick's wheel: pizza with Dutch apples, streusel toppings, with vanilla icing.
