My friends and I went to trivia night & there were 3 workers, the bartender, the waitress, & the game show host. I felt so sorry for the waitress, because she was running all over the place & tending large groups & very forgetful. She seemed distraught, but they definitely need extra hands especially when it's a themed night that'll attract more customers. I really enjoyed their cheesy bread, but can't go wrong with a 2 ingredient item. I ordered deluxe calzone & it was HUGE! I also ordered LIT & they were generous with their liquor for a decent price. Been eying this place a while. Had to come in and try one evening for dinner. We ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and did a BYO pepperoni with banana peppers for pick up. The bar looks like a neighborhood watering hole. Lots of TVs showing sports. The BBQ pizza was phenomenal. It reminded me of the version at Papa John's. Pepperoni was good too. Nothing was too greasy or heavy as pizza can be sometimes. The crust was kinda soft. Not really mad at that. Not sure if they were going for Neapolitan style. It did have a nice flavor. Solid pizza - we ordered dill pickle pizza (without the ham) and buffalo chicken pizza. Both were good although the dill pickle was definitely our favorite. The buffalo chicken was very mild as far as the buffalo and the bacon was the predominate flavor. Service was good - drinks refilled, checked in just enough, and the bill was handled swiftly. The inside has a large bar that stretches one side of the room, booths along the other side, and some tables in between - high and low tops. Pizzaville is one of my favorite pizzas! I often recommend it to people and can now share they've expanded to offer dine in seating. My family of four visited on a weeknight when it wasn't too busy and easily snagged a booth. Breadsticks were a nice addition to our pizza and we ordered a large salad, which we all enjoyed a bit of. Our pizza order was a bit wonky as they made the wrong (smaller) size. We then had to order another small pizza to have enough food, which led to a more expensive visit. We stopped in here for a quick bite to eat since they had signs for "pizza by the slice". We were able to get a slice of pizza, two breadsticks with sauce, and a drink for $6.50! The slice of pizza was big and filling. Since the server knew we were short on time she was very attentive and brought us the check quickly. She offered us our drinks to go as well. I have been here a few more times since my first review for both Lunch, Dinner, and carryout. they are putting out pretty good pizzas and wings. Lunch special is crazy. $6.99 for a 12" 1 topping. Really good and excellent bang for the buck. The restaurant is a little loud for my tastes due to not having anything sound absorptive in the building. I would suggest some sound deadening panels on the ceiling or something. its not so loud you cant hear, but i thing it could be tamed a bit. read more

Had pizzaville last night, which made our second carry out experience. I hadn't been inside since the dining room opened. It is darling! I think we will dine in sometime. The unique flavors of pizza at pizzaville are what make us think of them. Last night we wanted Hawaiian pizza. As of this morning, my six year old boy had finished it. He was a major fan! We had the dill pickle pizza another time and I remembered liking it too! We also had a more traditional pizza. I ate Hawaiian pizza, but the other looked pretty good. Extra cheesy things might come out a little greasy. It is, however, pizza, and I think grease is expected. I would have had this delivered but I do notice that this restaurant seems to have a pretty high inflation on DoorDash and opted to carryout instead. It is harder for me, as I usually have small kids in the car, but worth the savings in this case. read more

Pizzaville is a great little spot. Carry out only. They're a little disorganized, but in an endearing kind of way. They were very friendly and my pizza was perfectly hot and fresh. The dough is wildly soft for both the pizzas and the breadsticks. If you're going to order breadstick, I suggest eating them without the marinara. Stopped in here for a late lunch with the family. They do not have a dine in option. You walk in and it more of a delivery type setup. A counter top with a menu on the wall. They do have a by the slice on the counter. We ordered a xl cheese, medium pepperoni, cinna sluggers and a chef salad for my wife. We received very good customer service here. The woman at the calendar noticed my family of six and probably knew we were hoping to dine in and offered to bring our order out to our car for us so we didn't have to separate while waiting. The pizza was fantastic as well. Very good bread and crust. One of the best I've tasted on a pizza. The cheese and the sauce is pretty good and kinda reminiscent of a local favorite here In bearnos. It's is a bit greasy but not too much to hinder anything. The only knock I can find on the pizza is the sizes and amount Of slices you get. The medium pepperoni came with 6 tiny pieces and the xl cheese came with 6 large slices. With my family Usually If there is an xl option I'll get it because of my family size. In This situation it was a bit misleading With only 6 slices. Still though the pizza was great. The cinna sluggers were really good too. Once again they got some great tasting bread here. The cinna stick itself had a light glaze of brown sugar/cinnamon that was good by itself. But it does come with the cinnamon cream that gives it more or a dessert/snack taste and flavor. Very good either way you choose to eat it. All in all very tasty and fairly priced place ($35 for our whole order). It's a newer establishment and from what I can tell it is doing well and will become a staple of the Louisville pizza scene. Maybe they will open one closer to my area of Residence in the city and I'll visit more often. Would be nice to have a location that has the dine in ability. read more

I was super excited to see this place opened up. The pizza was ready in less than 20 minutes and was nice and hot by the time it got home. The employees were very friendly. We got a large chicken bacon ranch with traditional crust. It was delicious!! Definitely enough for 3-4 people. The breadsticks were really good too. It comes with 8 and they're pretty big. They give you marinara to dip them in, but I think they would be better with garlic butter. They have Detroit style crust so I definitely need to try that next time. read more

My work ordered from here a few weeks ago. The staff is so friendly and very quick. We ordered several pizzas and sides. The crust is very light and fluffy. The interior has a sports bar feel but would be nice to eat lunch in there during the week to get a break from work. Next time I will try some of the side. On top of that the woman working that counter was rude when asked "can't we just have our pizza that was paid for online?!" I get it, it was Friday night and they were busy. I'm quite disappointed in this pizza place. The taste of the pizza is fine, but I find it ridiculously overpriced for the quality and flavor. I'd just as willingly grab pizza from Pizza Hut than return here, and that's saying something. We got 2 pizzas to go for $50. Upon arriving home we found they gave us the wrong pizza. Accidents happen, but there wasn't a real apology aside from a shrug and "sorry". We drove back and got our correct pizza. Came here to eat last night wanting to try a new and local pizza joint. The service was great and so was the food. I highly recommend the garlic knots, which we got with marinara sauce. We ordered the Detroit pepperoni, a large half dill pickle/ham and half Hawaiian, and an order of Slugger breadsticks online for pickup Friday evening. We arrived to a very busy parking lot and even busier restaurant. The staff was overwhelmed with orders coming in via phone calls/online as well as in person. I must admit, we were a bit worried. Some impatient customers were rude to the young/hardworking staff who did everything they could to get the orders out as quickly as they could. When we got home with our order, we were blown away how fantastic ALL of our food was! The pizzas tasted so freaking good, yet unique (especially the dill pickle/ham). The breadsticks were perfect - crusty on the outside and soft inside - no dipping sauce necessary. The Detroit style was perfect - not too greasy and crunchy where it should be. We tried PizzaVille during it's opening week. It's a nice little spot (just takeout, no table service seating), offering a unique style of pizzas and bread sticks that are distinctly Louisville, and will be familiar to their new customers. The Detroit Style crust is light and fluffy, and the fresh mozzarella sprawls over the pie, making sure you get some in every bite, while the crust is light enough to not be super filling as you keep eating. The Chicken, Bacon & Ranch (CBR) had an excellent amount of ranch base, while the Bacon was crispy and almost smoky in flavor. The Chicken was juicy and complimented the rest of the pie well. I will say, I could have used a little more of a Crispiness on the CBR, but that is also a personal preference. Currently they don't have Delivery (as of 01/26/2021) but they do plan to implement it soon. Support your local pizza place and give them a try! read more

Want to know what disappointment tastes like?! Well come here and get a slice of it. We absolutely loved this place when it first opened. Crispy crust, thin and delicious, perfect amount of sauce and fresh toppings and it was reasonably priced. Today instead we got soggy sad breaded wings that were horrible. 'Mushy and tasteless' was the verdict from the family on those. So. Disappointing. We also ordered a veggie pizza, a chicken barbecue pizza, and an all meat pizza. Both of the red sauce pizzas had barely any red sauce to speak of. And the chicken barbecue pizza barely had any barbecue sauce. It was like they were running out of sauces so they used a brush to brush it on because you could kind of see the color of it but not enough to actually taste it or cover the whole pizza crust. There was barely a sprinkle of cheese on the vegetable pizza. So. Disappointing. There are just way too many pizza joints in this town to be eating bad pizza. I'm happy to pay a higher price for great food. But in these times of inflation and groceries costing more than ever - eating out is such a privilege anymore and to come home and eat food like this just really not only angered my entire hungry family but was, well, just to say it again....so disappointing. I am going to start this review by saying Detroit Style Pizza is not my cup of tea. We ordered carry out. We ordered a Detroit Style Pizza with bacon, mushroom and black olive. I am a thin cracker style pizza gal. This pizza was thick but soft and pillowy, which was more attractive than what I expected. The bacon was real and cut in lardon style. It was good bacon, but not enough. The best pieces had two small pieces of bacon. Some had none. So, that is the reason why I'm giving it three stars. It was light on the sauce, which my daughter loved, but I prefer to taste the tomato, so next time I will ask for a side of sauce. The cheese was on point. We also ordered a Large Chef Salad. It was big enough for three people to share. The down side was the packaged salad dressing, but plenty of toppings. So, in summary, we liked it, and we will be back because it is now, our neighborhood pizza place. I just wish they added more bacon. read more

Had my son's 2nd birthday party on 3/30/24 and needed 10 xl pies! I pre-ordered the day before and picked them up. All 10 pizzas we got hot, fresh and were really tasty!
