New place on York Road. Creative fusion with masala pizza and breakfast taco of Indian (or Nepalese) origin. Service was walk up and order. 3 tables to sit down each with four seats giving the impression that they want to be takeout with alcohol and not a dine in location. Saag Paneer was close to boiling (for eating in) and once cooked it was spiced right and flavorful. And there was plenty of it! Fun menu, nice people, and creative. I'm curious what a pizza And curry place does for breakfast.

Look at the quality of the Togo bag

samosa lived up to my expectations from other reviews. sincerely the best samosa I've ever had. it came with all the sauces. 12/10 customer service. will absolutely be dining here again

This restaurant just opened with new management. This is one of the best restaurants I ate. Food is really tasty and the place is clean. Staff are friendly. I love their Jhol Momo (Soup Dumplings), Chicken Tikka Pizza, and Chicken Chili. The naan is really soft and fresh. Highly recommend this place for anyone. Love it!

bhurji roll

Very glad I tried this new place! I've visited a couple times now, and one visit while I was waiting for my order they gave me a free cup of mango lassi, which was delicious and very smooth and rich from the yogurt, not overly sweet. My favorite dinner so far was the mixed döner pizza, with the meat soft and flavorful on a medium-thick crust. The rice bowl with lamb/beef was also good, with plenty of meat and the cucumber and other toppings good contrast. The bhurji breakfast roll was interesting but not for me. I wasn't expecting the sauce to be as sweet as it was, but the texture of the paneer was perfect. The butter chicken didn't skimp on how much chicken was there, though tenders not dark meat. The restaurant has very easy parking at the side and in front. I ate inside for my rice bowl, though I'd gotten it packaged to go because I only wanted to eat half at first, and it was very pleasant. There are three large tables in a spacious area with four televisions around and everything was clean and brightly lit. There's a selection of alcohol you can buy set up in large clear-front fridges. I've always gotten fast service and friendly staff, and when I had a large order they offered to carry it to my car for me to not worry about the door.

The chicken masala pizza is incredible!

We got the Doner Kebab with spicy sauce-- the meat was delicious and the bread wrap was made in-house. I highly recommend it!

TLDR No more lunch buffet, but the food absolutely delivers. Great curries, excellent biryani,…read morefriendly service, and fair prices. Our group of six went to Hyderabad Stories in Cockeysville planning to dive into their lunch buffet, only to find out they no longer offer it. Since we were already there and hungry, we decided to stick around and order from the regular menu and honestly, it worked out just fine. The space used to be San Sushi before the owner retired, and the interior layout is pretty much the same. It is simple and perfectly serviceable for small to medium groups. When we visited, we were actually the only occupied table, which made for a quiet and relaxed lunch. Since there was no official buffet, we decided to make our own by ordering a half dozen dishes to share. We went with a variety of curries, multiple biryanis, butter chicken, samosas, and plenty of naan for the table. Everything came out at a great pace and the service was very friendly and efficient throughout. The curries were the highlight for me. Some were dialed up with extra heat for the spice lovers at the table, while others were milder, but all of them were packed with flavor and tasted fresh. The biryanis were also excellent, with generous portions of both lamb and chicken. No skimping on the protein here. Pricing was reasonable, and when we split the bill it came out to about what each of us would typically spend at an Indian lunch buffet anyway. Overall, even without the buffet option, Hyderabad Stories is a great Indian food choice in the area and definitely worth checking out if you are craving flavorful curries and solid biryani.

If my husband did not find this spot, I don't think I would've noticed it. That said, I am very happy he did!! The restaurant did stop their buffet as the owner said it was not a hit amongst the local customers. After ordering all we did though, we kind of made it our own buffet and the price was very reasonable! Each person averaged about $30 . The biryani was so good and the rice was tender! The Apollo 65 fish appetizer was also delicious!! Very tender pieces of fish paired with a spicy coating was so flavorful! The egg noodle dish was also a table favorite! Honestly, you just can't go wrong here! My friend also wanted a spicy sauce and the wonders wife made a save that looked scary but soooo delicious!!

This was highly recommended by one of the Indian guys I met at the CrossFit. It's a South Indian restaurant so they seem to have various options for dosa and other South Indian food. We decided to try their thali. I got the goat thali. The goat was cooked to perfection. The curry was nice and flavorful. The vegetables and lentils were delicious as well. I wish the rasam and chicken 65 were more flavorful. Rasam was bland and the chicken 65 lacked the spicy flavor. Overall, great experience. Nice service and good ambiance.

The name "Sangam," which means "meeting and getting along," evokes the spirit of mutual trust inspired by a classic Indian film of the same name. This romantic notion sets the stage for a delightful culinary experience. Upon entering, you might not find opulence, but the restaurant exudes a cool, neat vibe. The ambiance is unpretentious, with two diligent South Indian girls serving food with a warm smile, creating a welcoming environment. The menu is a treasure trove of South Indian dishes, many of which may seem unfamiliar, especially for those from a Punjabi or Pakistani background. Though the choices can be overwhelming, the restaurant is particularly renowned for its Masala Dosa--a must-try for any visitor. Here are some of our favorite selections: Sukha Goshat: A flavorful dish reminiscent of bhuna meat, prepared with an array of spices, served alongside naan or paratha--perfect for a satisfying meal. Biryani: Their biryanis are noteworthy, bursting with rich flavors that stand out. Appetizers: We often start with Chicken 65 or Fish Chilli. The tangy, spicy Chicken 65 has a unique flavor that distinguishes it from typical offerings at Indian restaurants. If you ever plan to visit Sangam, I'd love to join you for this delightful culinary adventure!

The manager, David, greeted our party of four and acknowledged our dual wedding anniversaries as the occasion for our visit. Nice touch! He also checked on us periodically throughout the evening. The restaurant is lovely inside, tastefully decorated and comfortable. A cozy fireplace burned in the dining room and there was lively conversation throughout, but tables were adequately spaced so that we could talk amongst ourselves with difficulty hearing each other. Our server was prompt, arriving just as we were being seated, offering water for the table and taking drink orders. On to the food. Wow! Talk about a party in your mouth! It was our first time here, and we will be back! For starters, we shared a few small plates; the Crab Khumbi, which had the perfect balance betwen delicate and flavorful, and the Pulled Pork over Pumpkin Polenta. The pork dish had a nice spicy kick and a rich, but tangy flavor, complimented by the sweetness of the pumpkin polenta - highly recommend. My husband ordered the Cauliflower, Coconut and Crab soup, which he proclaimed to be outstanding. Rich but not heavy, and bursting with notes of spice, cilantro and cool cucumber; he said he would definitely order again. The small plates portions are enough for four people to have a generous bite or two. For our entrees, our friends ordered the Shrimp Balchao and Fish Curry, and they both raved about the explosive flavor. My husband also ordered the Fish Curry, while I had Butter Chicken. Oh my gosh, we all chowed down on this deliciousness, taking a moment to dunk our warm, toasted Rosemary & Sea Salt Naan with every other bite. The wine list is extensive and cocktails were expertly crafted and tasty. We didn't have room for dessert, but did view the menu and it looked very appetizing. I cannot wait to return to this gorgeous restaurant, and perhaps even dine outside among the lovely gardens and decor. There are heat lamps for cooler weather. The bar was also warm and cozy, with large TVs visible for watching sporting events, but not so garrish that it had a sports bar feel. I can see Sunday afternoons watching football and enjoying a few small plates with friends in our future. Do yourself a big favor and reserve a table!

The décor and ambience of this restaurant is so serene and welcoming. As always, they start you off with a basket of Papadum (light crispy Indian wafers) and two dipping sauces. These are really delicious and a wonderful introduction to Indian food. Our foods started with an order of split Vegetable and Chicken Momo dumplings that were marinated in Nepali spices stuffed in flour wrapped and steamed and served with a special chutney. For our friends' main course, they split a Chicken Tikka Masala, which was boneless white meat chicken cooked with onions, tomatoes, and bell peppers. They also ordered Naan - the traditional unleavened white bread. My husband had his favorite, the Tandoori Shrimp. It was a very generous portion of jumbo shrimp marinated in an herb mixture and delicately broiled in our tandoori clay oven served with mixed vegetables. This came out sizzling. This came with a side of spinach that was more like a creamed spinach. It was the best we have ever tasted! It was creamy with the best seasoning. I decided to try something new and ordered the Chicken Pista Korma which was White meat chicken simmered in a mild pistachio sauce. I would have like smaller pieces of chicken, but the sauce was delicate and delicious. All of our entrees came with basmati rice. For deeper explanation: The price was decent on the takeout menu that we got a few days prior, so we decided to give it a try. But when we called before driving over, we were misled about the selection, both regarding dietary restrictions and selection in general. And when we arrived, we were told the coupons were not valid not the complimentary drink, because those were old menus. But it was same flyer one of the staff gave me a couple days before and that they had at the front of the restaurant which I grabbed to double check pricing and deals... the fine print said was 2022, which I missed because why would I question that anyway if it was from the restaurant that same day. The food was mediocre... save for the samosas. The bathrooms were not great either, and in need of repairs. And when we went to pay it turned out the price per person was much higher than their flyer stated. There were no signs and no mention of the actual price, even with me carrying the flyer from their front area in with me. The price per person was similar to the Indian lunch buffets that I go to closer to my home, but those places have a much higher selection. The selection at India Palace was very small, which for the expected price was not great, but far worse for what the cost actually was (again, the flyers they hand out are the wrong price!). From start to finish, I feel it ended up being a waste of time and money, and left a very bad impression all around.
