I may have some of the leftovers tonight for dinner, if I'm lucky. Butter Chicken Pizza: A Rich and Savory Fusion Topped with Creamy Butter Chicken, Mozzarella Cheese and a Hint of Indian Spices on a Golden Baked Crust. $16.99+ --- WOW!!! just amazing. Great, crisp crust. Tender Chicken. A side cup of butter chicken sauce. This is the item that won my heart. Tandoori Shrimp: jumbo shrimps marinated with yogurt, ginger, garlic & Indian spice $18.99 --- delicious... we received two mystery sauces: one an herbaceous slightly spicy green, the other a dark purple with a flavor that reminded me of plums or raisins. I don't know if these were meant for the shrimp, but I really liked the flavor combination of the shrimp with the purple sauce. I only got one though, cuz Jeremy housed them before I could snag a second. Tandoori Chicken: Chicken on bone marinated overnight in yogurt & spice roasted in a tandoor a cylindrical oven $13.99 --- best tandoori chicken I have ever had in my life. So tender, not at all dried out, perfect char flavor. White rice spiced white clove.... didn't open them with the meal but looking forward to having them later. A really spectacular meal. I really wanted to love Pizza & Curry because I was especially excited to try the curry after seeing all the great reviews. Unfortunately, the food missed the mark in a few important ways. Despite selecting the lowest spice level, some dishes were almost impossible to eat because they were simply too spicy. The curry was especially disappointing. It was not only far too spicy for the lowest spice level, but also quite salty, which made it difficult to actually enjoy. What a shame when you are looking forward to a dish and the spice level overwhelms everything else. The Chicken 65 was just okay and, again, much too spicy for the lowest setting. The batter also completely fell off the chicken, which made the dish feel rather pointless. The lamb had the same issue with the spice level. The butter chicken, however, was good. It was actually the first dish where it felt like the chef paid attention to the spice level we selected. We also tried the chicken masala pizza. The pizza itself was decent, but the chicken on top was disappointing. It was very rubbery and tasted almost like chicken from a previous day that had been reused on the pizza as an afterthought. Overall, there is definitely potential here, and some of the food was good. But the experience could have been much better simply by respecting the requested spice level and paying more attention to the quality and preparation of the chicken. When a customer selects the lowest spice level, the food shouldn't be so spicy that they can't enjoy it. read more

Some of the best curry I've had in the Baltimore area!!! So worth the drive and cannot wait to come back and try more. Had the chicken tikka and the butter chicken - both amazing but I preferred the tikka. The naan was delicious and paired perfectly. The portions and price are hard to beat!! The young lady at the counter did not mention that nor did she ask us if we are interested in having vegetables. Mango Lassi: it's in the refrigerator along with there are 2 L sodas and water. Easily missed but good! - bumping up overall rating from three star to four star because of their mango lassi. I have had Indian food almost at every restaurant in the Timonium to HV corridor. This has got to be the best I have had. The food is fresh and so flavorful. The price is on point too. I went to get tandoori chicken at Sagnam down the street and it was bland and terrible. We got the tandoori chicken and goat curry here and it was incredible. The staff here are also super friendly. New place on York Road. Creative fusion with masala pizza and breakfast taco of Indian (or Nepalese) origin. Service was walk up and order. 3 tables to sit down each with four seats giving the impression that they want to be takeout with alcohol and not a dine in location. Saag Paneer was close to boiling (for eating in) and once cooked it was spiced right and flavorful. And there was plenty of it! Fun menu, nice people, and creative. It's a nice smaller restaurant but with high quality ingredients. My significant other and I wanted to try something new and the pizza-Indian infusion was very good. Have it the way it's meant to be made and don't try to alter it, just have it the way it was intended. Try the mango drink, it was very good. I'll start with wow. The quality of the food was amazing and it was very reasonably priced. My wife and I decided to order the chicken vindaloo, house special biryani chicken, saag paneer, paneer tikka masala and the guthi vankai. Sooooo good. I am an indian food lover, not a newbie and this was well above average. Lekh was our server and he was super gracious and attentive. We dined in and the ambiance is house of pizza like, nothing fancy, with food served on paper plates. All in all I was very impressed and delighted with our choice. Formerly Pizza Palace, which our family adored, Pizza & Curry has quickly become a new staple for us. The kid loves the pizza, as does my husband, and I love the soups, the curries, the momo, and all the delicious treats they prepare! Our first order, I tried the chicken momo, the mulligatawny soup, and the lamb vindaloo. The portions were ridiculously large and the price was lower than I've seen at comparable places. The spice levels are accurate to what is expected, and the quality was so amazing, that I had to go outside of my comfort zone and try their pumpkin and black bean soup. I would have never thought of Mexican and Nepalese fusion, but that may be one of my favorite soups of my life. My go-to is the lamb saag, but I'm looking forward to the chilli paneer, saag paneer, and more as we explore their menu. My husband rates every place based on their lamb vindaloo, and had nothing but positive feedback. Super happy that this is the new place that took over this spot! I've visited a couple times now, and one visit while I was waiting for my order they gave me a free cup of mango lassi, which was delicious and very smooth and rich from the yogurt, not overly sweet. My favorite dinner so far was the mixed döner pizza, with the meat soft and flavorful on a medium-thick crust. The rice bowl with lamb/beef was also good, with plenty of meat and the cucumber and other toppings good contrast. The bhurji breakfast roll was interesting but not for me. I wasn't expecting the sauce to be as sweet as it was, but the texture of the paneer was perfect. The butter chicken didn't skimp on how much chicken was there, though tenders not dark meat. The restaurant has very easy parking at the side and in front. I ate inside for my rice bowl, though I'd gotten it packaged to go because I only wanted to eat half at first, and it was very pleasant. There are three large tables in a spacious area with four televisions around and everything was clean and brightly lit. There's a selection of alcohol you can buy set up in large clear-front fridges. I've always gotten fast service and friendly staff, and when I had a large order they offered to carry it to my car for me to not worry about the door. read more

The place is your standard pizza place inside, they have a pretty extensive menu of a variety of foods. The staff was super friendly and answered all my questions! There's a few spots inside to sit down and eat, they even offer complementary water if you dine in. I got the chicken tikka pizza and the doner kebab, both were really tasty! The pizza was fun because it wasn't like your normal everyday tomato and cheese pizza. They even offer different sauces on the side to eat with it. Decided to try the new place with my son. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. The establishment was clean but looks more suited for takeout- we ate in. We ordered and paid first, then seated ourselves. The guy at the register was seated and almost looked surprised that we were ordering food and then graciously took our order. The first app was mild buffalo wings. These were fried nicely, but with no seasoning, they were coated in a buffalo sauce that tasted like a watered down store bought option. ( they also forgot to give us the ranch/ blue cheese). Edible but not with the spend. Our second app, the samosa, was very good. Nice spice level and great value for the price. The mint sauce was a great condiment, the tamarind sauce was passable. With the chicken tikka masala, I thought the dish was average. It wasn't bad, but nothing exceptional. For a casual dining situation, I think the dish was acceptable. I could basically cut and paste what I said about the tikka masala and apply it to the lamb curry. While tender, the lamb curry was simply average. Also, I wish some type of bread was offered with or as an alternative to the white rice,e.g, naan, roti, or even pita. Considering the cost of the two entrees averaged about 25%-33% less than other local Indian restaurants, it wasn't bad for a quick inexpensive dinner. Other than the tikka masala pizza and maybe one other dish, the menu was less fusion than confusion. Drink selection was only canned soda, water bottles and wine. The place appears new so I would return to try the pizza side of the menu. read more
