Ultimate sandwhich is the bomb. It's shaped to look like a pizza its a sandwhich with meat, cheese, avocado, etc. The store front is tiny, and the inside feels like a bar. There were some obnoxious football fans inside. They have some arcade games too. read more

Holy freaking crap I would leave negative stars but that is not an option on yelp. It is Sunday, October 9 we ordered our food at 5:50 PM we were told it would be here by 6:30. We were having it delivered to a brewery that recommended pizza barn. 6:30 came and went no food 6:45 came with no food 7 o'clock came and went no food. By this time we had called Pizza barn a few times to find out where the food was they kept telling us it's on its way finally at about 7:05 I spoke to the manager Mario. This was probably the most useless manager I have ever had to deal with. I was on the phone with him when the food finally showed up at 7:15, 45 minutes after it was supposed to be here and an hour and 30 minutes after we had ordered it. He told me he would give us a whopping five dollars off of our order. I told him it should be free he told us to send the food back. Finally, we agreed on paying half price for the food. I had the delivery guy wait to make sure the food was hot. Surprisingly enough it was not hot and the order was wrong. There was a vegetarian in our group that ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce and it camewith meat sauce. The delivery guy called Mario the manager and again Mario instead of trying to make it right kept saying just send the food back. So now after an hour and a half of waiting for the food we did not even get to eat it. There is no way we will ever try pizza barn again. I have no idea if the food was good or bad I just know Mario was a horrible manager. I know the order was wrong, and I know the food was cold, because it showed up 45 minutes late. Mario next time you have a customer complaint that you know is 100% your fault you need to take care of your customers then they will not leave negative reviews on yelp. read more

I drive from Hacienda Heights to pick up this pizza....that's how good it is. I'm like addicted to this pizza. The dough is is chewy where it needs to be and the crust is crisp and delicious. Sauce is on point and the sausage is divine. I had a little mishap on NYE. I ordered 5 pizza's and when i got home (hacienda heights) one of my pizza's was incorrectly made. i called and they offered me a free large pizza on my next visit. Woot woot! I would like to say that this is a nice restaurant with good superb service and excellent food. However I can't. I went there on a Thursday night and the service was absolutely the worst. The food was greasy, the bartender / waiter (might me the owner) is rude. The bathroom was disgusting. I don't know how this place received an "A" from the health department. Please go to Red Devil Pizza or Wharehouse Pizza. Both places have better service and better food. The so called ultimate sandwich is a joke. Total garbage. read more

Came to this location for the first time on a Saturday afternoon after reading positive yelp reviews. The place appeared to have plenty of tables available. The place was getting ready for a team party or something. Some tables reserved. I figured some of the other tables were available, but it was evident the large party was claiming dibs on the other unreserved tables by using their kids as markers at the tables until the rest of the party got there. Whatever people! I can see we are dealing with first class individuals here. Lol! So I guess we would have to get takeout instead since no starting for my family of five was available. That didn't bother me as much as the catty look one of their workers gave my 11 year old daughter when she accidentally got in the worker's way. Really?!?! Honest mistake, lady. Get over it! That was pretty much the only kind of acknowledgement or greeting we received from any staff member. Instead of ordering, I made the call to go to another pizza place instead. I have to admit ALL of the workers are very friendly as long as you are a regular. They love to chat and have a great time instead of serving the public. Mario the manager loves to socialize but ignores customer service. I guess they don't need more business because they do nothing to better their HORRIBLE service. Long waits for simple food, average 20 minutes to get served a beer. Food orders often wrong. Make sure you check your orders. Nothing worse than getting home to find Bell Pepper in your food when requested to leave it out. Decent food. Worst service. I seriously doubt the owner checks the YELPS. read more

The customer service here is HORRIBLE! The head chef (hispanic man who wears a backwards hat all the time) has no people skills. No wonder they keep him in the kitchen. He should NOT have any interactions with people because he's just rude and disrespectful. My order was over $25 and they had a coupon for a free soda with any order over $25. The cashier gives me the soda and this so called "chef" comes flying out of the kitchen, like a witch on a broom stick and grabs the soda out of my hand and says the coupon is no longer valid.....wow.....really buddy.....this guy needs to be tested because he's definitely on something. read more

Great place to have beer and a pizza. Ninette is a sweetheart and is loved by everybody. I go there when I don't want the traffic of whse pizza. I gave it three stars because the regulars change the tv's like if they were at home. Which means is if the lakers and celtics are playing you probably watching golf in there. A friend told me about the ULTIMATE sandwich. It is yummy! The place is difficult to find. It is by Kumon / Taste of Asia / Ricciolo, and Michaels + Big Lots behind. It is in the inside corner, next to the dental office (?). The restaurant sign in not above the door -- I was not sure which door Pizza Barn is -- anyways it is the big dark wooden door in the corner. I was a bit shocked as I enter the place, thinking that I might have gone into the wrong place: it was dark, with a bar atmosphere, with a bunch of guys on the farther end, seems like regulars, hanging out having beer. Ordering is on that end, where the guys were. I ordered the Ultimate sandwich, not quite knowing what I am getting. You order it like a pizza: personal, small, medium etc. I was going to have it for dinner for me and my husband, and I thought the small would be good (it turned out it was just right: 6 slices). I had to wait for 20 minutes, so I went back to my car to wait -- I was not comfortable hanging out in there to wait. I went back in 20 minutes, still had to wait for another 5 - 10 minutes & it was awkward standing around by the cashier. To me, the atmosphere was intimidating, not friendly (but not hostile either). People there seems to be regulars -- they seem to know each other. Anyways, the sandwich was yummy! It is actually like a sandwich with pizza dough instead of bread (top & bottom). It has turkey, roast beef, avocado, tomatoes, etc (just like a hot sandwich). The price was about $12.50 for a small. I only gave this a 4 star because of the unwelcoming environment. placed a $50 order. after receiving pizza I realized I didn't get my pepperoni, they sent a meat lovers instead. called and they wanted pizza back. one of my kids had grabbed a piece and left. so they delivered the pepperoni and charged me for the one I didn't order. I was coming here hoping for a delicious, greasy pizza and some good hot wings and they didn't disappoint! I ordered their specialty combo, and it was delivered quickly even though the place was pretty busy due to a crowd there watching the LA Kings game. Also, despite the crowd the waitress made sure to check in to see how my meal was going! Now, for the pizza, it was definitely greasy and full of toppings, so if you're looking for something light, this doesn't seem to be the place. However, if you do want greasy, heavy food, the pizza hit the spot! The hot wings were served plain with sauce cups full of buffalo sauce and some sort of bleu cheese sauce. The chicken on it's own was crunchy, decently sized, and flavorful. The buffalo sauce was about what you'd expect from any hot wing tray: tangy with a good bit of spice that pairs well with the bleu cheese sauce.
