We were so excited to see this place as we drove by! The one in Salt Lake has been closed since Covid closed the world down. And we have missed the bread sticks so much!! We all got some pasta (all different kinds) and a breadstick. The pastas were all very good. The breadsticks were delicious! They were a tad dark on the outside and a bit doughy on the inside so I think the oven may have been too hot. But not enough to make us not devour them. We are visiting the area and stopped at Pizza Factory for dinner. We liked that you ordered with the cashier and then they brought your food to the table. I'm assuming that's what makes this location an "express" instead of a formal restaurant. Everything was hot and fresh. Good flavor and lots of options on the menu. We got the (HUGE) garlic twists (which came out first), the chicken Alfredo pizza, and a couple of pastas. Mine had linguine, creamy pesto, chicken and Italian veggies. Delicious! We also got a kids cheese pizza which had a flavorful red sauce on it, and a passion orange guava smoothie that tasted mostly like an orange creamsicle. Not bad, but not what we were expecting. Dirty and grungy. This location needs an extreme makeover just to get the grease and dirt off the walls, floors and furniture. My wife and I went in a few weeks ago, thinking it would be "as nice" as their other location down on St. George Blvd. but we were sorely disappointed at the look and vibe of this Express location. It looked grungy and unhealthy, but we ordered anyways since we were starving and didn't want to drive to the location on the Blvd. Our pizza was okay but the holes in the walls (patched poorly with some spackle from Home Depot) and years of accumulated grime and dust on the baseboards, lighting fixtures, booths and equipment just took our appetites away. We left in disgust after wolfing down a couple of pieces of pizza. The owners need to shut this place down a couple of weeks and do a major overall to give customers a sense that they care about cleanliness and providing guests an enjoyable and healthy dining environment. read more

For starters, entering into the building there was a greeting of annoyance by the teenagers who are obviously running this place. There was not one person over 21 there to support the adolescent staff. The salad bar was a mess with salad dressings and other toppings all over the counter, coupled with dirty silverware. Not only did the food come out TOO fast at a sit down restaurant, it was cold, the noodles were hard, the sauces were bland and runny. The server also spilled tomato sauce all over a member of our parties shirt. The funny thing was that it was NOT busy and the staff was sitting around talking the entire time. The salad bar could have been cleaned up or tables could have been wiped down so we could have sat somewhere clean. As a lover of the pizza factory, this was a huge disappointment. The reviews of it being rated low are for a reason. The owner should definitely look into restaffing or gain control of this disappointing restaurant. We will not be coming to this location again. The food was great, but what impressed us was the warm smile and friendly nature of the young woman working. Even though it wasn't busy, she continued to find ways to stay busy. You don't see that often anymore. Our whole group noticed. We will come again when we're in Saint George. read more

Coming here you need to know their pasta with just sauce is disappointing. You have to add to it! If you don't, you will most likely be disappointed. Pretty disappointing. I love the Pizza Factory in St. George, this was not even close. I got the chicken alfredo and just imagine you reheat yesterday's chicken in the microwave on high until hard and rubbery...pretty sure that's what I got. Breadsticks and pizza were hard and burnt. We went at 12:30 and there were only 3 people in the restaurant (Friday) that should have been the first sign. I wish teenagers were taught what customer service is. We ordered the Alfredo which tasted like it had gone bad, like really bad. We went and talked to the employee and explained. There was never an apology, she just said "do you want a refund or do you want something else". Then it took about 20 minutes to get some spaghetti as a replacement (there were only a few people in the place). My family and I have always loved the food at this establishment. Over the years the portions have gotten less and the price have gone up. Today was our most disappointing experience. We ordered the family special and a large plate of pasta with Szechuan chicken on the side. The pizza was average, one of the better pizzas in stg, but doesnt make the top 10 list. The pasta was cold and clumpy. And the side of chicken was so small that they put it in a dressing cup! $11 for cold, clumpy, pasta and not enough chicken to feed a bird. Terrible. It was inedible I got the veggie pasta (that was undercooked ) and a meat sauce. Two bites and I couldn't take another bite. I have had this dish many times and it was great but that was over 1 year ago. The food came out on a hot plate but the veggies were almost cold. Very disappointing. My husband got the 10" mushroom pizza that he too could not eat more than 2 pieces because the crust was tasteless and just no good . The bread twists and were good so 1 star. read more

I've been coming here and the other location regularly for years, my family has thrown events here and has loved the food but unfortunately the service is poorer and poorer every time we come. All the people who work behind the counter are young and don't pay attention, roll their eyes, etc. We went today and when we asked the girl behind the counter for some crushed red peppers, she continued to talk to her coworker and placed the peppers on the other side of the counter, turned around and rolled her eyes. Such an unfortunate experience. We love the downtown location, but we wanted something a little faster so we came to this location. Within a few minutes of getting there, as I went to get my salad bar I had a literal mouse run right in front of me... An employee came from the back and picked it up and tried to hide what was going on, but I just couldn't at that point... Against my better judgement we stayed and waited for our food, which was mediocre at best. I had the pasta which was it drained and so it was more water than sauce when I got it. Okay, so the sign does say "Pizza Factory," and not "Pasta Factory," which is the primary reason for the three stars. The three come from the pizza that would have garnered a 4.5 stars. The breadsticks would be 5.0 stars, but everything else that we had was flavorless. The Alfredo was creamy but lacked flavor. The meat sauce was bland and Tate's like tomato purée, not a taste explosion in your mouth. Finally, we had strawberry and raspberry frozen lemonades that tasted like 3/4 water and 1/4 flavoring. I eat at he Pizza Factory Express very often and they are always very friendly and nice. My food always tastes great and the portions are definitely fair. Well, Saturday they messed up my order, and I called back 5 minutes before closing to get it rectified, and I was offered a meal replacement or a gift card, which I accepted happily. Well, my girlfriend ended up going to the E.R. that night, and our order never got placed and I forgot. So come Monday morning, I get a call from Kavyn at the Pizza Factory Express, reminding me of the Gift Card they had for me, and even expressing heartfelt concern for my girlfriend when I explained what happened. Can you take the word express off your logo? Your business is anything but "Express." I came in the restaurant tonight there was one table that already had food and just me. 12 workers in the kitchen and it took 15 minutes to get a heated sandwich. When I finally asked about it after about minute 12 they said "yeah he's making it right now." Seriously all you have to do is heat it up! I'm pretty dang sure somebody waited about 10 minutes before they even started making my sandwich and I was the only customer waiting. I would give you 0 stars but that's not an option. read more

The Pizza Factory has excellent food and a fantastic salad bar. I have gone many times to the location on Sunset. One negative thing I have noticed, is that the person, presumably the owner named Dave, is often a jerk to his employees. He talks down to them and treats them very poorly. Today I watched him get angry at a customer. He told a young man that if he wasn't going to order something he was not to come back there. Myself and other customers were appalled. Giving respect gets you respect. A little kidness goes a long way. I feel the owner of this establishment needs to apply this in his business relationships. People are always watching. So tonight my wife had an event with extended family so it was just me and my 3 youngest kids for dinner. I opened up the tooic asking where we should go. Friday night and I'm willing to go just about anywhere. I was surprised when they decided on Pizza Factory on Sunset. Apparently this has become one of our go to spots in St. George. One kid actually likes Italian food the best. Another just likes "noodles." For me, it's more that the food is good and it's located on the west side of town (next to Lin's Market). The salad bar is decent; protein protein choices include hard boiled eggs, cottage cheese, beans, edamame and other cheeses. The bread-twists are the big hit with my little carb eaters. Tonight we ordered two 7-inch bbq chicken pizzas, a BLT on sourdough and a large salad bar (one trip only which seems kinda skimpy given the small size of a "large" salad bowl). Turns out my wife went there today for lunch with one of her girlfriends. Not cheap but the food is good and located on the Santa Clara side of town. read more
