Some of the BEST pizza in STG! Have had a bunch of different slices and whole pies from them over the last few months. Staff is super Utah friendly, the inside can fill up fast but I always sit outside, very cool little patio area.. Would recommend this pizza to anyone looking for really taste pizza. read more

Great pizza, poor communication. They won't answer phone or return a message. They don't reply to emails either. Ordering online is easy enough except when you have a question. They have had Detroit style pizzas but not shown in current website, but is in other websites/delivery services. When that's what you want and can't order it. Worst customer service experience ever. Ordered $68 worth of pizza on 7/9 through https://johngspizzeria.hungerrush.com/. Paid $6 for delivery with a $10 tip. Got a notice on my phone my order had been cancelled by Door Dash. I called the restaurant. Straight to voicemail. Called again. Straight to VM. Called again. Young man picked up and I told him about the situation. He said Door Dash showed up too soon and left. He told me it's showing through "the web app, not door dash". As the customer why would I care? Like it's my fault or something?. I ordered on their web site. The man called for manager "Josh" to come to the phone. Josh would not come to the phone. Man told me he'd call me back in 2 minutes. He called back in 8. Told me we have to come get the pizza. Again ($16 in fees paid). Told him I did not have a car. Here on vacation. Man asked for Josh to come to the phone again. Josh again, refused to handle a customer and Josh is the manager. Abysmal. Horrendous. Asked my order be refunded. Guy said fine and hung up on me. First & last John G's experience. read more

Thought the Pizza was very good. the crust is medium,it isn't really thin like other's. I thought though it could use more tomato sauce. 14" is the smallest . It's a good size, I always like to take a few pieces home. read more

I'm not certain when they opened, or if we were simply uninformed, but what a truly tasty find! We had a margarita pizza and the bacon/chkn/ranch, both XL. The XL is an 18" & there were 5 of us, the men in my family generally leave no pizza behind, we had 3/4 of a pizza once we were done. The sauce is ON POINT! The crust thin & good enough to eat the crusts too & the flavors on the pizza we had were excellent. The slices are large and floor from the generous topping layout & perfect to food & enjoy. There's no fountain soda, which for us was not an issue, but they do offer a variety of can sodas, some can juices & liter bottles. They are also connected to the corner store so it MAY be an option to get a drink next store, but we didn't ask. The canned juices were a great option for us. Great pizza for a local mom and pop! Price is fair for what you get. Wings are a little overpriced but they are cooked well and taste good. Their garlic knots are why we went there twice on our week long trip here. They are so good! Like a donut or beignet texture but with garlic and butter. Like Dan O says "yum, yum, get you some!". Pizza was decent. We ordered to go, and it was super busy inside so it took a bit. The dough was good, the rest of it was pretty dang oily so I had to dry it off with a paper towel. It's convenient for the area, so if you feel like some pretty decent pizza, this place is for you. I'd give it a 3.5/5. I've had better, but it certainly wasn't bad. read more

Finally! St George isn't really known for their quality pizzas. Places like Sandtown and Regatti's are overrated and pricy. John G's is the best pizza anywhere in Washington County. Generous toppings and the flavor is amazing. The crust is also perfect. 5 stars. read more

We've been 2 times and we will be going back. Went with the classic pepperoni pizza and chicken wings- fresh and hot pizza and crispy chicken wings. First time we sat inside- long wait but they had a rush. Second time we did a pick up order- I didn't do it online, called to get a specific time it would be ready. All employees are very nice and helpful. Be patient with the wait time, it's worth it! Only reason for 4 stars is limited inside seating and it was very warm. read more

When John g'a opened they had challenges but they figured it out and it was one of my favorite places to get pizza. However the last few times it was mediocre at best. Then tonight I preordered my pizzas 3 hrs before I would be there to pick it up. When I arrived I was told it was in the oven and route out shortly. I ended up getting my pizza 45 minutes later. When I got home one was incorrect and the other was burned so bad you could hardly eat it. I think tonight was my last time ordering John g's pizza! read more

Don't answer phone so I ordered online. "1topping pizza for 19.99" with a picture of a pepperoni pizza was the deal. Ordered it. 90 minute wait that ended up being 120 minutes. When they called my name I was given a cheese pizza. "Oh sorry the picture is just of a pepperoni pizza, you have to select to add on pepperoni still. Brand new place. So delicious. They had canned drinks instead of fountain drinks, if that is a thing for anyone. We got the cheesy bread and bbq pizza. They had the best bbq base I have had in a while and fresh toppings. To compare to another great pizza establishment; my normal choice in town is Rigatti's. But I think John G's is my new place. Also got to try margherita, fresh roasted garlic was amazing!! Their location is pretty small but it was only two of us so it was okay for us. First visit and given that they're fairly new, I'll try them again. But that said, $16.50 for a med. sized one topper seems a bit much. Pizza was decent, above avg crust but otherwise ordinary. They use standard pizza ovens. Oddly, after online order for pickup, I arrived to see what appeared to be standing offer of same size, 1 topper for $9.99. Hmmm... Would have asked but after standing & waiting @ 10 min. while another customer had issues, just took my waiting pickup and left. Need better online/pickup design-- seemed like 6-7 people behind counter and prep, someone could have easily handed me my pre-paid pizza sooner. read more

Went to John G's for the first time last week. Ordered the Greek pizza which was fabulous. Far as I can tell, they are the only game in town for Greek pizza. Staff was friendly and my pizza was out in a reasonable amount of time. Definitely will return. read more

Decided to check out John G's today after reading reviews. It's a keeper in our minds. Service was excellent although they were very busy. They only have 2 sizes and we decided to pick from the "by the slice" selections. Trust me 2 slices per person is plenty with the large slices they give you. Also came with a drink in the form of a can of pop or a bottle of water. The space inside is small but there are a few tables and booths plus some outdoor seating in a small courtyard.
