Ordered the pineapple and pepperoni pizza, extra large. Yum. 4 adults, two little ones. Also had the garlic cheese bread (thought we ordered sticks but we had ordered incorrectly and were happy we did), awesome cheese bread. Great place to take a family with small kids, love the picnic table style seating (regular tables available as well). There is a game room with a few games that our grandson noticed right away when we got there, but the pizza came so fast he forgot all about it. We've gone here a few times but usually have delivery, which is fast. My tip says no waitress, that's not a bad thing, just want to make sure you get in line to order before you sit down, and yes, there will be a line. read more

Found this in a day trip book and I won't be making my way back. Customer service means a lot to me when I eat out so the negative in this review is mainly this place's lack of. I ordered a small pizza for my wife and I with "added chicken", breadsticks and two drinks. Pizza was good, breadsticks were really good and the Tea was horrible. Half way into the pizza (small) I noticed we didn't have the added chicken so I walk up to the register to ask about the chicken and it just so happens that the only employee in the building that looked over 18 was at the register so I assumed he was the manager or even owner. I ask about the pizza and he asks for my order number which I don't know, then with my pizza sitting on the counter proceeds to look for my order. He said he wanted to check who the employee was that took the order so that he correct any possible mistakes in the order taking. So, after a few minutes of this he takes my half pizza and says that he'll add the chicken. Keep in mind this is an order of added chicken put onto an already cooked pizza. He continues to search for the order during this whole process. We think that he doesn't believe that I added chicken....I suppose it happens but am I really trying to get some free chicken or another small pizza? When he brought the half pizza back he said he ran it back through the machine, but what I saw as I was coming back from the bathroom was that he microwaved some chicken and through it on the top of my pizza. So, everyone knows what rubbery microwave chicken taste like and imagine that thrown on top of a pretty good pizza. Long story short, this guy knows nothing about customer service. He offered to remake the pizza after seeing my disgusted look but who wants spit on food. That's always what I imagine happens to redone food. He should have snatched up my food in the first place and immediately remade the pizza. If he was interested in making a correction with the staff he should have searched for the order after I was satisfied. He came back and let me know he found the receipt, seen the chicken, and the person who took the order left for the day. I just gave the classic "I don't give a f...." look. I left chicken on the table and took the pizza home which made its way to the trash after two days in the refrigerator. read more

Tired of our normal "halfway to Pinetop" stops at Wendy's, McDonalds or Denny's, and limited in our choices due to a child with a food allergy, we decided to give Pizza Factory a try. SO glad we did! We fed a family of five pizza, breadsticks, pasta and fountain drinks for around $25. We were so impressed we stopped by again on our way back to Phoenix. Tucked away in a shopping center of a major intersection the Pizza Factory offers fast Pizza, Subs and other Italian food. My wife and i ordered subs while my daughters had pizza. Overall favorable experience with a nice salad bar to get your meal started. read more

I'm new to Payson and wanted to take my son and granddaughter out for pizza. The Pizza Factory is ok, nothing special. It is clean and well managed from what I could tell, but the food is just average chain pizza quality. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. The pasta was cooked properly but the sauce was watery and lacking flavor. The meatballs were a little over cooked on the outside with some pink meat in the middle, I think they must have been partially frozen before being cooked. Flavor was average. We also ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza because we wanted leftovers for the next day. The crust was thin and crispy which I like. It could have had a little more cheese in my opinion and it was pretty greasy. The salad bar was small but everything looked fresh and well maintained. They have a small arcade which my granddaughter was exited about, but several of the games took her money and didn't work. Staff was kind to refund her promptly. Overall a well run pizza joint with average food. read more

Honestly, this is a mediocre pizza restaurant. The turkey sub was mediocre at best as well. However, it was very reasonably priced for a slice and a soda. There was also a decent salad bar, but they give you a small bowl and only allow one trip. read more

Good pizza. Surprisingly. Just came in for lunch as I was passing through town. Pizza crust was soft and chewy, but had a nice hard crust on bottom. Right amount of cheese, cooked golden brown. After a day at the creeks this Pizza hit the spot like you wouldn't believe it. I called ahead to carry out our order salads, wings, pizza (Hawaiian, pepperoni and cheese) order was ready in time they told me it would be (20 mins) it was delicious. .crust was toasty but the rest soft and cheesy to perfection. Our "go to" for pizza. Love the Hawaiian with pineapple/Canadian bacon. It is always busy. Please have the staff repeat the order to you, have had pizza with wrong topping. We had a Pizza Factory in my hometown in California and they ended up closing. We moved to Arizona and couldn't believe we were able to find one! The pizza reminded me of my childhood all over again! Fresh toppings and the breadsticks were nice and hot and delicious. The food itself gets 5 stars, but the sit down area inside was a little dirty and we had to find an area away from the arcade section so we didn't have to hear kids screaming while we ate. I got an Italian sub. Kinda light on the meat and their selection of meats are a bit odd; hard salami, cotto salami, ham and a Bologna / mozzarella. The bread was decent for the area (AZ) and the dressing was good. Restaurant atmosphere was good with pic nic tables and booths. Limited selection of beer and wine, but they do have it. My husband and I visited Payson over the weekend and stopped here to eat before making our way to our camping site. This place seriously never disappoints. The bread sticks are oozing with butter, garlic, and cheese and are extremely soft, fresh, and hot. The pizza is some of the best pizza I have found anywhere. I have absolutely no complaints. You can tell that it is the most popular pizza place in the area, as it was fairly close to opening and it was already packed when we arrived. We have been here twice this week. The first time it was so good - food and service that we decided to return again. We ordered the same meal each time - a gluten free pizza and a Caesar salad to share. Nothing worked well today. We asked for our salad after sitting at the table for 15 minutes. It was ready and had been ready for some time. I sensed this young man did not make the leap from the salad is ready to the salad is ready and we will bring to your table. I asked it be brought to the table. It arrived in a bowl without plates for sharing and with dirty silverware. As we started the salad, the wheat pizza arrived. We learned the gluten free button was not pushed for our order. They remade the pizza. We spent over an hour for lunch and only 30 minutes earlier this week.
