First time in Payson. We were looking for a local pizza place and read the reviews on this one. Very good pizza! We had the Longhorn. Great crust and fresh toppings. We got it to go, so I can't say much about the dining experience, but the staff was friendly and when they say the crust is hand-tossed, they mean it. It was fun to watch them spin while we were waiting. Definitely worth a return visit. read more

The staff was friendly but the atmosphere & pizza were lousy. The pizza is very much like Dominos pizza or similar to any type of chain that delivers pizza for cheap. Plain pie had to much thick red pizza sauce that tastes like its out of a can & not fresh. Do yourself a favor & skip this joint that's located in a strip mall. read more

Good food but horrible customer service....I was on the phone and they put me on hold for 5 minutes and I can hear them in the backround talking about vacation and what not. Very family friendly... They help the community a lot! Very good pizza and breadsticks! And Mon-Sat you can buy 1 slice for 2.75 or 2 slices for 5.00 who wouldn't want that? I love eating there! read more

Came in to town to work a wedding Friday evening, ordered pizza and a Greek salad, based on the menu description. When it was delivered it wasn't a Greek salad so we called just to let them know it was wrong. The first person we spoke to apologized and said another salad was on the way, 20 minutes later a second person called to say we did in fact get a Greek salad and asked for the list of ingredients that was on the salad! Then, again said that is a Greek salad and that it was only missing tomatoes, feta, and olives! Twice in the verbal transaction we stated to just forget it, it was fine! 20 minutes later a Greek salad arrived at our door with a note listing the ingredients of a Greek salad! Are you kidding me? The delivery guys.... Awesome! The gal on the phone horrible and rude! You don't mess up and order and come at the customer like they are wrong! My family and I have always LOVED going to Pizza Factory for lunch but this one day, we had a bad experience. We ordered bread sticks and a pizza. They took 30 minutes to bring out our breadsticks and a hour later our pizza still had not come. We went up to the cashier to see what was going on with the pizza.They said they had lost our ticket. (it wasnt busy at that time) A girl later came and said sorry and asked if we wanted anything else but we just wanted our pizza. I know I will still go to Pizza Factory for lunch because it is sooo good... just hope other people dont have to wait that long like we did. read more

After waiting 45 minutes for our food the Owner gave my husband dish to some one else. They put another order in and we waited another 30 minutes and I was finished with my food by the time he got his. They should have given his dish to us for free. Terrible c.s. read more

I don't think the employees have any idea what they are doing! We have had the worst service. I phoned in an order for a small two topping pizza, was told the price was $20.20. I called back and questioned the price I was then told $11.21. The employee who answered the phone kept having to ask someone for information about the questions I asked her. read more

Ok something is going on in the Pizza Factory in Payson Az. It's always been our favorite pizza in Payson but they must have new staff or even a new owner because it's going downhill fast. My wife likes their Pesto Pizza its her favorite and on the menu as specialty pizza. Last week we called and she had to tell the girl how to make it. When we told her it was on the menu she said they can't see the ingredients which was scary because we were reading their menu. But the pizza was fine very good in fact. This week we called gave or order no problem when the pizza arrived the pesto had no sun dried Tomatoes but rather was covered in fresh Tomatoes so basically there went all the flavor since fresh Tomatoes and Sun Dried tomatoes taste nothing alike in fact all the fresh Tomatoes did was make it a wet pizza. When we called The same girl that took our order said they ran out of Sun Dried Tomatoes so they used fresh. (So they still have no idea what a topping tastes like) my wife told her it had no flavor and was basically soggy and inedible and she offered us a free topping on our next pizza! So they ruin a $12.00 pizza and offer us a 95 cent topping and no apology? That's not custom service that's a disgrace plus they clearly don't know what's even on their pizza's or what the toppings taste like. If they run out of pepperoni do they put Bologna slices on it. I think this crew needs refresher lessons on both Pizza toppings and customer service, which is a shame they used to be the best pizza in town by far and as residents in our small down it's a real shame when something slides into the unacceptable like this read more

On 11-25-14, I had heard from the locals that this was the best pizza in town so I stopped there with my family. We ordered a pizza and bread sticks to split between my Mom, Dad, and I. We also ordered a sandwich with no cheese for my wife since she cannot eat cheese. The bread sticks took about 25 minutes to receive and the pizza took about 30 minutes. Still no sandwich for my wife. We waited about 10 minutes to see if they were going to bring it out but they never did. We went to the counter to ask about it and they said they were making it now (which basically means they forgot about it). Another 10 minutes passes and an employees walks up to the table and asks if we were the ones that ordered the sandwich and we said yes. She tells us that they made it but it has cheese on it. I tell her that won't work and that's the reason my wife didn't eat the pizza. We ask how long it will take to make another one and she said 6-7 minutes. I tell the employee to forget about it and then asked for a box for our leftover pizza and also for a refund on the sandwich. A few minutes later the employee returns with a box and says they are working on the refund now. We say okay and then wait for a few more minutes before we finally got up and walked to the register to ask again for a refund. Bottom line the customer service is terrible. The pizza isn't bad, which is a shame since we stop in Payson about once a week in the summer time. I guess they have too much business to worry about retaining customers. read more

Excellent pizza, lousy customer service. Ordered 2 pizzas and drinks for 5, forgot to order bread sticks. Went back within 2 minutes to order the bread sticks. The pizza came and I inquired about the bread sticks and the waitress said I didn't find an order for bread sticks. I explained how it was ordered and the boy who took the order said he would put it with the pizza order. After we had eaten almost all of our pizza I went to inquire, and stood for a good 5 minutes before I was acknowledged. The girl was very rude when I ask how long they had been cooked and sitting on the back counter. She never said one word and threw them in the trash (Jennifer). Never one word of apology just a glaring stare! Can't tell you how distraught I am, as I have always loved Pizza Factory in Coarsegold, CA. We are in Payson at least twice a week and was so excited to find Pizza Factory, will never go again!!!! read more

A friend and I went here on Saturday, August 20 around 3:15 in the afternoon. I ordered two meatball subs and two sodas. Girl at the counter totals my order and says it will take about 15 to 20 minutes for the subs. Seems like a long time for subs, especially when there were only 6 other customers in the place at the time and they all had their food already, but whatever. But then 20 minutes go by, and no subs. Then 30 minutes, still nothing. So I go to the counter, wait about a solid minute for an employee to acknowledge that I'm standing there, and the same girl, this time with some attitude, asks if she can help me with something. I said "yes, where's my food". She looks at the guy working in the kitchen, then takes a peek into the obviously empty oven and walks back off to clean tables without saying another word to me. So, the guy working the kitchen walks up and asks what I need. I say I ordered two subs about 30 minutes ago. He says he has no record of my order and pushes a few buttons on the register, opens it up and starts pulling money out for what I figured was a refund. I told him I used my debit card and that I wasn't paying for the two sodas either. He swipes my card for the refund, I guess, because the $19.11 still hasn't shown up in my bank account and mumbles some half hearted "sorry about that". I told him this sort of incompetence was unacceptable and that this was the second time my order has been missed in a year. I should note I've only been to this place a total of five times. I will never go to this place again, especially when the food is only average at best, and the employees attitudes suck. read more
