Should be renamed "Pizza Slaughterhouse" They don't do pizza or calzones well but subs and pasta deserve a try. The pizza and calzones are poor, both because they don't get the dough right. They get soggy and fall apart. The pizza is tolerable. The calzone isn't fit for human consumption. I still order from them a lot, because they have very good subs. The roast beef is high quality, rare beef. The cheese is flavorful. Tomatoes were perfectly ripe. The sub roll is fresh and delicious. Their chicken cutlet subs are great too The cutlet is white meat (whole muscle, not ground up parts), juicy, cooked perfectly with the right amount of breading. Crisp but not overbearing. This is one of those restaurants where you really gotta order the pizza. The pizza is geek style and it is so good!!!!! The inside of the restaurant isn't the best so I personally wouldn't eat the pizza there, but the food is great!!!! It's the perfect place for if you want to take out pizza and eat some with your family while watching a movie, or just make some great memories. Been eating here my entire life and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon! Amazing Pizza/Calzones and one of the Best Steak Bombs around! Great customer/delivery service and have helped provide food to many local establishments including local sporting events for years! They'll accommodate to pretty much anything within logical reasoning. I mostly get delivery but they also have a great seating area to relax and eat as well. They also have a great selection of drinks serving 1 Liters for those with bigger appetites like myself. A Portsmouth staple I'm sure will be around for a long time! read more

Pizza is good and their service is great. The pizza is more of a thick crust but prepared nicely. They have two advantages from mostly all pizza places in the area. They're open every day at 11am AND they offer delivery. The delivery person has been very nice. I have been very satisfied with my meal all the times I have ordered and know I can count on them when I want pizza and can't get out of the house. At work, we've been getting pizza from Pizza Factory delivered for a few years and it's the best combination of quality, price, and delivery time/accuracy near downtown Portsmouth. There are times when I prefer a different kind of Pizza but we've tried them all and we always come back to Pizza Factory. Quick update (9/1/11): We've been getting the Chicken or Eggplant Parm & pasta for lunches lately. Even with the tip for the delivery guy, it will be about $10 and you'll get two lunches out of it. Be sure to ask for extra sauce because there's never enough. read more

Decent pizza. Their sauce is good and their pies are reasonably priced. Crust is typical Greek style. However, I will say, their boneless buffalo wings are a SCAM! Quite literally the worst pizza I have ever had. Wow.. I had one or two pieces and I can't eat another (and I usually polish off most of a large). Let's break it down. The bread of the pizza itself is probably the worst aspect of the pie. Very flimsy and undercooked. It tasted very similar to a pancake which was quite a good pairing with the maple flavored bacon *sarcasm* The pie itself was very greasy. You probably could pick up a slice, squeeze it and at least a cup of that stuff will drip off. Last, but not least the sauce. Nothing very clever to say... It was just bad. All and all I feel like I was robbed at gunpoint for $30 dollars. Don't bother. read more

Okay, now this entry is a contender for best pizza in Portsmouth. Unfortunately so far that is a field of pizzas that it is not hard to beat. First order online they give you a FREE small cheese pizza! The crust was crunchy outside and soft inside, nice flavor. Good sauce with rich tomato flavor. You can order it with any toppings you want, YES, ANY TOPPINGS. And the food is hot and cheesy, the order from phone call to done was 10 minutes. They also have pretty good calzones, hot and cold subs. Not a huge menu, but they stick to what they do well. Also, Portsmouth's finest were there on a dinner break when we stopped in and they must know what's good. read more

A couple friends and I ordered a couple of large cheese pizzas and they were very good. Being a grad student, the pizza of choice was dominos, which as we all know lacks.... well....taste. I do appreciate a good tasting pizza and their pizza isn't too greasy and not too dry. I hate nothing more than a bland pizza or a pizza that is so sloppy you can't get it in your mouth. Figured we would try something different and were pleasantly surprised. Delivery can take a little bit longer but generally not longer than 45 minutes. We ordered a xtra large buffalo chicken pizza for 5 of us. I have to say that pizza was PHENOMENAL! We all could agree that it was very delicious. The flavor was definitely there, and the price was about the average range of a pizza that size. No complaints from me!
