The pizza was alright. Its really hard to mess up pizza unless you're a Chinese restaurant. We got the large pizza combo, which included a large pizza and three regular drinks and breadsticks. I noticed the parmesan was like powdered sugar consistency...kind of grossed me out since even the cheapy store brand parm is better than the stuff they had in these shakers. I read some reviews while we were waiting for our food and I noticed someone said something about a fan. Well, this said dusty fan was nowhere to be found but thats probably due to the fact that its winter. Anyways, I got to looking around and this place had the filthiest rug right in front of the counter where you order. There was all kinds of stuff on it that could have easily come out with one pass of a vacuum. Just saying. Ew. Other than that, the place was fairly clean. My only complaint was that this guy spent a good amount of time on the phone with someone, talking smack about someone. Hardly acknowledged us as we were finishing up our meal and cleaning our trash and plates right in front of him (who was still on the phone.) Acceptable pizza. Probably wouldn't stop here again. Didnt like his response as to what the area was like even though I know all too well how it goes in such area. Kudos on being the only one working there though during our visit. We always stop at the Pizza Factory, when driving anywhere near Walnut Grove. Our favorite is the gourmet veggie which is topped with lots of fresh vegetables and artichoke hearts. The crust is just the right thickness and the pizza cooked to perfection and neither greasy or salty. Today we sat outside, looking at the river and the people going by. It was charming. Wow where and how can I start? Well the cashier talks way to much. Like a 10+ min conversation with him so I can order a damn mini pizza. Salad bar not so clean. Dried dressing everywhere. This lady posted not to long ago that the salad bar was good well then y'all should hire her to clean It if she loves it so damn much. I like everyone but only TWO people caught my eye. The two guys always working on the pizza table. That one kid with a hole on his throat and the guy who works with him that never leaves the oven that guy been working there for years and I think he's great! WHAT IS ANOTHER THING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT? Their slogan/tagline says it all.... "We toss 'em... they're awesome". Took a drive and ate their for lunch. Bought a personal pan GF pizza and not only is the pizza VERY TASTY but the cost was soooooooooooooooooo affordable. I had a craving for pizza and was calling around. I was being quoted about $25 for the same thing..... theirs: just a little over $10 It's a little bit of a drive for me, but I LOVE this place and will continue to keep coming back!!!! This morning while driving through Walnut Grove we were going to stop at the Pizza factory for lunch it was about an hour before the place opened and there was a young man outside with frizzy hair who was setting up the tables and things outside, after we pulled up my 78-year-old father-in-law (who we are helping cross things off his bucket list...which was the reason for a ride) dumped his new motorcycle in front of the Pizza factory and the frizzy hair little boy just sat there and laughed, what a disgusting human being. Shout out to the Good Samaritan in the SUV wearing glasses that pulled right off the road and helped my husband put the bike back upright so my father-in-law could continue his ride. And I will continue to share the story with all of us who ride our boats out that way and pass through that way to Sacramento and placerville discouraging anybody from giving Pizza factory their business read more

The pizza is really good, almost as good as Rio Vista Pizza Factory. I get take out a few times a year. My big issue here is WHY water down the ranch dressing??? I love ranch. I'm sure there trying to save a buck but for me it ruins my pizza. Apparently I'm not that smart to remember this and I keep going back. Stopped by Pizza Factory with some of my cousins after a nice drive around the whole Isleton/Walnut Grove area. The restaurant gave me a nostalgic feel when we were walking up to it, but it was a nice break from the more modern buildings of other pizzerias I've been to. There was seating on the front patio, about 3-4 picnic tables. The interior also gave off that nostalgic feel, but it seemed to fit with the feel of the whole town/area. The pizza itself was very good. There were plenty of choices as far as toppings go, they even have a choice of their red sauce or white sauce, and there were visual size options (showing you how big the pan was and how many slices). My girlfriend and I liked the crust of the pizza. We had the small (6 slices) all meat and it was enough for the both of us (although being a guy, we could have gotten the medium and I'd be fine eating 3/4 of the pizza myself..haha). This all meat pizza was really all meat. They packed it with linguica, pepperoni, ham, and bacon and I could haev sworn there was salami on there, too. The meatiest all meat pizza I've had..definitely beats out the "all-meat" pizzas from some franchises. As far as other pizzas, my cousins ordered the supreme combos, which also looked very packed with toppings, the chicken bbq pizza, which was very good with its freshly cut onions and the tender chicken, and vegetarian with anchovies. All very, very good. Their hot wings was fresh from the fryer and not like some places that serve you the microwavable Tyson once you can buy at CostCo. I did notice their salad bar was single-trip only, but if I got their salad, I wouldn't need another trip after having their pizza and a salad. The location of it seems to be on the main road for the area and right in front of a stop sign. Luckily, it was real nice out, so we ate on the patio and enjoyed the view of the river, but since it was a nice day out for a drive, there were tons of motorcyclists and cars that would rev their engines real loud from the stop sign. Not too bad, but it could turn off some folks who hate when motorcyclists rev it real loud. Tons of parking nearby and they're not metered. All in all, I'd recommend stopping by here if you're ever driving around the area and get yourself their all-meat pizza. I'm getting the medium for myself next time! read more

We often stop here on the way back from Sacramento. The pizza is always good, the best part is the hand tossed crust, it is unlike the crust at most big chain pizza restaurants, it tastes home made. The restaurant is built inside an old building that looks like it used to be a house, and they kept a lot of the old interior in place, it adds to the atmosphere. My home town has a Pizza Factory and every other location I have been to has had the same food and service. It's usually pretty good. This place looked good as well except.. I have never ever waited more than 20 minutes for anything at any pizza factory eve!r Until this one where they told us after we ordered that it would be at least 40 min. That was a problem but, also the lady who was at the register was initially unwilling to accept my yelp coupon. The place was busy and i get that but it appeared to me that there were only 2 employees 1 for the register and a man doing all the rest. They need more help! I ordered a personal size gourmet chicken pizza. After grabbing a seat at the table by the window, I checked in and saw a coupon. When the pizza was brought to us, I presented it to the girl and asked if I could use the coupon. We were told, "sorry, we are not a part of that [chain]. I'm a new resident on the river. So I'm anxious to check out all the good eats. Had an all meat combo. Small size. About 12 bucks. was a bit small, I thought I might take some home, but I did enjoy every slice. Had that nice orange grease underneath. Not greasy mind you, but evidence of the pepperoni and other meats mixing together. The atmosphere is very homie. I am not used to such a friendly service. To grow ask my name at the counter and called me by name as I left. They have pasta and sandwiches and I look forward to working my way through the menu. I come here whenever I am in town to visit my parents. Good salad bar and decent pizza. The service is never bad but tonight the young man working behind the counter really impressed my husband and I. Seriously nice kid who rang us up, answered my salad questions, took a phone order and then made our pizza for us. THE YELP COUPON IS A LIE HERE. GO TO THEIR WEBSITE for coupons. That was the only disappointment. Poor workers get annoyed with the coupon issue. It does say something along the lines of "only valid at participating locations" which means there's the possibility that none actually consider it valid... Sad. Food was good, quaint place, plenty of room for larger parties. I was part of a group (20+) that makes an annual trip to this Pizza Factory, & it was a slowish night in comparison to past years, but it was nice having the restaurant almost completely to ourselves. We called ahead! I split a medium pizza (8 pieces, $19) with two girls. Two pieces was a perfect amount for me, but if you are trying to leave with a food coma, you would probably want to split a medium between 2 instead of 3, or quite possibly eat it yourself. They get a 1 star and here is why. The pizza may taste mediocre AT BEST. I went there in person a couple time waited 10 mins before someone even acknowledged I was standing there. I have ordered over the phone and put on hold right away then, when person answer and I tried to give them my order (based on the online menu from stating it was from their store with address and number) they told me they didn't have what I was requesting. I said... well you guys charge a lot of money for pizza but don't have what is offered online? The guy says I'm not going to argue with you, This is what we have!"
