Not sure if this is a restaurant or just a pizza truck! But I've only had the pizza from the pizza truck! It's so good! Light, fluffy and just delicious! I got the Hawaiian pizza it was $20! Have been meaning to try this place after missing out at our local farmers market one Saturday. Finally visited when they were in Elk Grove by Les Schwab! Ordered 4 different pizzas and all of them were great! The staff taking our order was so nice and offered recommendations and encouraged us to order over the phone next time so we didn't have to wait too long! That was such great customer service. We ordered the Hawaiian Lover, Alfredo Lover with red onion, an all veggie with red sauce and a combo with red sauce! The only critique which is probably more a preference is next time we will ask for the basil to be added after it comes out of the Fire! But they were all delicious! Crust was so tasty and perfect balance of soft and crunchy! High recommend tracking this place down! Will be back soon. read more

Pizza Lovers Sac is my go to spot for wood fire pizza! Much different from other pizza spots like Mountain Mikes or Round Table, Pizza Lovers Sac has an authentic taste that transports you to Naples. I love how they have a way to pre order their pizzas through text or calling at (279)-289-9177 because they tend to get really busy! Also, this is a food truck/trailer which is typically located on Elk Grove blvd but are always at the farmers markets, events and breweries throughout Sacramento and Elk Grove area. I would say to follow them on instagram (@_pizzaloverssac_) as they post their menu and location regularly. I would recommend to go with the classic pepperoni and then try the other flavors but realistically if you love pizza you can't go wrong with either of their options. They also just incorporated a Detroit style pizza which I cannot wait to try! read more

I was searching Yelp for my typical pizza takeout places and tripped over this traveling pizza show that only had a handful of reviews. Wood fired? Neapolitan? I'm there. They were scheduled for District 56 in Elk Grove, so I rushed over (just 5 minutes away). Nice compact menu, quick tap to pay, and less than a ten-minute wait for a fresh hot pizza. Seems like an efficient upbeat business, but the 3 workers had only a few orders while we were there. The pizza arrived with a tasty, slightly-charred crust, and was slipped into a colorful box for the trip home. We had the soprasetta that included dollops of ricotta and a few fresh basil leaves. I didn't realize that the pizza is finished with a honey sauce. Much too sweet for me, though the other suburbanites might favor this addition. I wish it was a choice to add, rather than a necessity to omit. There are lots of ways to make very good pizza; this is among them. I might fault the crust for being a bit too stretchy, the careless placement of the basil leaves, the sweet after-dressing. But I'm glad to have pizza of this quality made with a personal touch. I'll be back. I loved the whole experience, even down to the smell of wood smoke in the air. read more

If you want a wood fire pizza you can't go wrong here. I've had almost every pizza here. I wasn't sure about the Caliente pizza because honey on pizza doesn't sound good to me. But it ended up being the most memorable and delicious. read more

Bought a Margarita Pizza 7/3/2025 at the Hagan Park Fair in Rancho Cordova and the Pizza was horrible!!!! It looked like sauce no cheese and 4 leaves of spinach. What a waist of $22. I feel like they robbed my husband and I. It was made like they rationed ingredients but sold pizzas anyway. We were scammed. Please check your pizza before you walk away. We will NEVER support this business EVER. BUYER BEWARE!!!! Shame on this company for stealing from the public. Just awful! Do better and stop stealing from hard working people. We have tried Pizza Lovers Sacramento two times so far and both times we received delicious wood oven pizzas and friendly service. The pizzas have a great wood oven taste and the crust is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The toppings are fresh and the tomato sauce is great. I love this pizza and have had it before, but today wasn't their best. Pizza was lacking cheese and toppings, I ordered the sopresatta pizza, and it was really sad as it barely had any salami or cheese. It was also missing the oregano. I saw this pizza company at the Midtown Farmers Market. I ordered two pizzas. I am a vegetarian, so one of the pizzas did not have meat. I didn't realize until I returned home that both pizzas had pepperoni on them. Because I haven't eaten meat is so long, the oil and juices from the pepperoni would have made me sick, which is why I would not have been able to just pick the pepperoni's off. I reached out to the company immediately and advised them of the error. I even sent pictures of the pizzas and the order receipt. I asked for a refund and they said they could not do that, however they were very apologetic and offered to remake the pizzas. I went to the Farmers Market a couple of weeks later to try to get the pizzas, but they were not present. I emailed them and they have not responded to me. I fear I'll have to just eat the cost. Very disappointing. read more

Was driving down Elk Grove Blvd and saw a tent making woodfired Neopolitin Pizza. What the heck, I was hungry and a pizza sounded good. Classic Margarita and Custom sausage & mushroom = great neopalitan style pizza - from the Les Schwab parking lot! Chewy crunchy crust as it's meant to be! Found this "food truck" place at a Farm to Fork event in Sacramento. Smelled good and the fire-fueled oven intrigued me. I ordered the El Caliente. Here's how it went: The Good: - the pizza is fresh, cooked right there in a wood-fueled oven and is ready pretty quick - fresh jalapeños - 11-12 inch, thin crust pizza is a great size for one person if they're hungry or two people if you plan on eating something else - they put a drizzle of a sweet sauce on right before they serve it and it tastes pretty good with all the normal pizza toppings - credit card payment is easy - good selection of specialty pizzas, but you can also make your own - friendly and helpful staff The Not So Good: - no cash payment option - only served on a single cardboard flat, not a box. Not a big deal if you eat it right away, but if you plan to transport you need to be careful - price is ok for Cali, but $2 for a 16.9 oz bottle of water? Come on. Bottom line: Great tasting pizza, great service, nice options. I'd buy from here again. Just remember: food truck, so where will it be next??? read more

Best neopolitan pizza! We had the magherita and buffalo pizza a few weeks ago and then recently tried their el caliente and Hawaiian pizza. Can't go wrong with any of their pizzas. The dough is perfectly crisp and chewy. This is the only place in Sac/EG where you can get the perfect neopolitan pizza. It is more expensive but their ingredients and taste make it worth it. I have met the owners and they are planning to buy a second Oven Trailer to provide Gluten Free pizza in a dedicated oven. I am anxious for when they start up their Gluten Free Pizza making. They have ordered the second Oven Trailer. One step better then the places who offer Gluten Free but cook it in the same oven as the pizzas that have wheat flour crust. This is my go to place, I used to be a Pizza Hut guy but ever since I had a bad experience with one…read moreof their locations I stopped eating there. The Pizza Guys on Bruceville road in Elk Grove always makes the most delicious pizza! I even tried the Pizza Hut down the street from them but their pizza was so nasty. The Pizza Guys uses the perfect proportion of sauce and cheese. All I tasted was marinara sauce from the Pizza Hut pizzas. Carl, one of the workers at the Pizza Guys always greets me and is always friendly. I'm starting to learn their names since I've been eating there so much haha. I've never had a bad experience with Carl other than one time the place was so busy and the customers started getting rude and impatient. I've worked at a Little Caesars and know how that goes so I kept calm and tried to reassure the other customers that they're just very busy and light staffed that day. Today's experience was no different, my order was very quick because it wasn't busy and I got to stop by and chat with the workers. The location and overall cleanliness is never an issue, although the lobby is small but I'm usually in and out in a few minutes. I wait until I get the notification that my pizza is ready, which is almost always accurate. I highly recommend this Pizza Guys location over other pizza chains if you want great tasting pizza with fresh ingredients! -Tek

Ambiance: Always good Service: Great, until we received the bill and the Server's response to our request for a correction We ordered the Pork Fusilli, and a Sicillian pizza, added a $5 Salad (pix attached). Server gave us the bill, upon review, we noticed a "1/2 Caesar Salad" and a corresponding $13 charge, not $5... Certainly NOT what we ordered . We explained to the Server the error and she apologized, said the bill will be corrected. Upon the Server's return, she said she was sorry and informed us we ordered the Caesar, not the regular $5 salad. Really? Instead of correcting their mistake, we now found ourselves having to explain to the Server, twice what actually happened while she took our order, I pointed out to their menu and I said "we wanted to add the $5.00 salad". That was it! We never asked for the Caesar, and specially a "half-order". The Server emphatically refused to correct the mistake. Obviously her decision would have never be my choice, had I been the Server, or the owner of the restaurant. We hate giving bad reviews, but being unnecessarily placed in this awkward position we did not appreciate it.

The food was outstanding! We had hot n sour soup, spicy pork dumplings and sesame balls. My husband is still talking about the sesame balls today because they were so good. Their portions are very generous. The soup spoons were a pretty coated ceramic and the silverware was heavy weighted and comfortable, not forgetting to mention they were gold plated. It was like dining at a friend's house instead of a restaurant. The service was prompt and friendly and the three men in the kitchen were working tirelessly. The prices were reasonable. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend Hidden Dumpling House.

The decor was simple and cozy. Their menu has changed a couple of times since we've first been here a few months ago. We ordered a lot of food over the times we've been here from Shrimp Siu Mai to Pork And Cabbage Dumplings to Xiao Long Bao to Beef Noodle Soup to Mongolian Beef to Garlic Eggplant to Chow Fun to Salt And Pepper Tofu to Honey Walnut Shrimp to Spicy Garlic Green Bean to Mapo Tofu to Mixed Vegetables to Black Pepper Beef. The Xiao Long Bao, Pork and Cabbage, Mongolian Beef, Chow Fun, and Mixed Vegetables were all delicious to us. We tried to order something new each time we ate here to try more of the menu. The restaurant can get busy but we haven't been when there's people waiting to come inside to be seated. Overall, I thought this restaurant was good and we'll be back in the future!

One of the things I am not a big fan is their stuff crust. Not tasty at all. Best to stay with the original thin crust.
