The X-large cheese arrived piping hot. And, the driver was very sweet and endearing. So, I tipped him $10. The pizza was gross tasting. Thick, nasty cheese--needed to be cooked longer. This is a new little pizza place that deserves peoples business. Its new and I hope everyone likes it as much as we did last week. It was really reasonable too. We got the Rio Trio which is a large two item pizza and a two liter with these breadballs that have butter and garlic on then and your choice of ranch, blue cheese, or marinara all for $22 ! And when they say large pizza, they mean large. Not like most of the other places that sell a large but somehow its in a medium size box ! Hmmm. Not pizza a go go. The pizzas are amazing. The service is excellent and they will accommodate anything you want and need. My husband loves their Caledons. Bread sticks are soft and fluffy with light garlic butter on top. They are super friendly and very pleasant to eat in or take out food. The dough is hand tossed and the crust ends up crunchy but soft enough to pull with your teeth. We ordered a sausage and mushroom pizza, which took about 10 -15 minutes to get to our table. The dine in area is cozy with a larger room up the stairs. Next door is a cool cactus and plant shop which you can visit while waiting for your pizza! I ordered a small cheese pizza with extra cheese and another small with red onion, pineapple, and jalapenos. One of my pet peeves with ordering sliced jalapenos on a pizza is when the majority of the pieces are those low-grade knuckly end-cut jalapenos that are commonly used at pizza places, and I was stunned that all of the pieces on my pizza were beautiful mid-cut pieces! The small pizzas are better sized than a lot of other places, and the dough/crust were high quality, leaning toward the thicker side and definitely made for nice substantial pies. We had Pizza A Go Go cater our lunch today. First of all this family-owned and run business is staffed with fabulous folks. They are very warm, caring and genuinely concerned that we were well looked after; a mindset sadly missing in many establishments. Their food is superb and abundantly generous. Hubby and I are new to Rio Vista so we're still checking out a lot of the local eateries. We recently had the hot wings here that were really good. It was a Saturday night, so the inside was pretty loud with the live music so we ate at one of the outside tables. It was nice, but I think maybe the server was new because when he delivered our food, he didn't have any utencils, napkins, or dipping sauces. Ordered a pizza and salad for delivery after a long day of work. The Supreme pizza was terrific, not greasy with all of the meat on it, just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The salad was good, nothing special but I was able to get a few more veggies in which is always great. This is definitely a must frequent! I also really appreciate the delivery option. I ordered their special 1 large pizza with 2 toppings, some Delt Dough and a two liter soda. pick up 5;00 I got there at 5;00 was told it would be a couple minutes the pizza was cooking please get your sprint out of the refrigerator, well there isn't any 2 liter sprite so they offer a diet sprite in single serve size? ... Super spreader? Super dreader! The only reason we went tonight was because of the live local. music. We had ordered take out when they first opened a year ago and vowed not to go back. This time we ordered 2 slices of their pizza of the day. Hawaiian it arrived to our table cold and not fresh tasting. When I mentioned it to the manager he offered to put it back in the warmer. . It wasn't worth eating the owner was in a pleasant mood prolly because all night she was drinking a beer in plain sight of customers. As the night progresses her words are more slurred and she was generations in handling out left over pizza. I overheard her discussing an order correction of mozzarella sticks- they had 4 warm ones and 4 cold ones. The mozzarella sticks appeared to reheatsd in the oven not a fryer. The chicken wings were also reheated in a oven not fryer. The owner brought the mozzarella sticks to the table behind me and wiped ranch off the serving tray with her finger and licked it! Then she serves pizza. She allowed me to take a piece of the tray but when I was trying to shake it free from the piece next to it without touching it she pushed that piece down with the finger she had licked. When my husband turned down her offer for a piece she seemed confused and hurt that he didn't take it. But really he was grossed out by her licked finger! All in all restauranteur is different skill set than other businesses. I wish she would go back to thrift stores. Even if she is happier at the pizza place. I've always order pizza from this place but this time. The pizza tastes like it was a leftover pizza from the night before. The cheese taste it old. It wasn't fully cooked. - I called the business and spoke to the owner (Robin). I asked her if I could get some sort of credit, a refund or an exchange and her answer was NO. I would not order from this place and if you do, order with caution. This place has terrible customer service. I have overlooked many of their mistakes in the past but this pushed me to finally leave a review. I placed my order online and my order never arrived. I was finally able to reach someone the following day but they were not helpful. They closed early and did not turn off the online ordering system. Now I understand mistakes happen but own your mistakes and make them right. Instead they gave me a half hearted apology with the attitude of oh well not our problem. They wouldn't even offer a discount and literately told me we can't just give away free pizzas. Really??? That tells me they make a lot of mistakes and just take the oh well approach. Pizza A GoGo is fast becoming a no go! What happened to their quality control? Pizzas we picked up today were totally bland and super skimpy on meat, overall all toppings were sparse even the cheese and pizza sauce. One of the pizzas we ordered was supposed to be without olives...but there they were...but since the portion size for each ingredient was so minuscule, it wasn't hard to pick them off. The salads we ordered consisted of greens and a few slices of red onion, missing most of the items listed as included for an $8 salad: shredded carrots, croutons etc. After I arrives home to find we had paid $16 for essentially lettuce, I called to complain. The counter girl I spoke with told me that they were out of the salad fixings. She didn't have an answer when I asked her why they didn't warn us about this when we arrived to pick up the food. I asked for a refund on one of the two salads we purchased. She said the would have to discuss it with her manager but 3 hours have passed and no callback. When Pizza A GoGo 1st opened we enjoyed a couple of really great pizzas there. After today's experience, we won't be ordering there again. I hear the other pizza place in town is under new ownership. After trying to give this place another chance, I was told that they stop making pizzas after 6:00 p.m. and there was a 2.5-hour wait. The third time trying (today) was asked if I could be put on hold "sure" I answered. I was on hold for 15 minutes and my call was dropped. When I called back I received a message "if you reached this message we are too busy at this time, try calling back at another time" goodbye. I understand the challenges of opening a new business but I think there has to be a better way to not keep turning customers away! Do you think having someone wait 15 minutes on hold and being hung up on is a good strategy? How about "leave your number and one of our team members will call you back" or "leave your order and phone number and we will contact you when you can expect to pick up your pizza" The current method of ignoring someone is not a good business model. I know you've received hundreds of great reviews but based on my experience you also have many customers that want to support you but are not posting any reviews. Pizza A Hell No! We went there this past Friday night to order a pizza and wings. We went in person to place the order. First mistake. The girl at the counter took our order and entered into the system, however she had to cancel it and issue a refund due to a mistake she made when inputting the order. She had to call over a senior employee for assistance to help her correct our order. Second mistake. The girl who took our order told us it would be approximately a 45 minute wait. We went for a walk and came back at the prescribed time. Third mistake. When we arrived to pick up our order, she informed us that our order was never made and they would re-do our order right away. No apologies for the mistake. We waited an additional 20 minutes. Fourth mistake. We came back 20 minutes later at the prescribe time. When we arrived to pick up our order, the same girl who took our order told us it was almost ready. We waited about 5 minutes, and asked again if our order was ready. To add insult to injury, the same girl who took our order told us they were out of sausage and wanted to know if we wanted a substitute instead. Fifth mistake. Apparently, they never made our order when we were promised it would be made the second time! Unbelievable dishonesty and disrespect to customers. I hope the owner hires competent help and trains the staff to be more organized. It's nice to have a local pizza place in town, however they are way in over their heads and obviously have no idea how to run a pizza parlor.
