Small pepperoni pizza- great thin crust
    Nicole N.

The first thing to note is they close at 10pm, I got there at 830pm and you could no longer sit inside. There is seating inside and I saw them cleaning, so they must have different hours on being able to sit and eat inside the restaurant. Not a big deal, just something to know. This pizza joint has been in business for many many years and definitely has an older feel to it. I did like the icicle lights draped around the kitchen area. Since we couldn't stay, I did a take out order. There were multiple people in the kitchen that just stared at us and I got the feeling they were very annoyed that we were placing an order, even tho their business hours say they are open till 10. A woman finally came over and took our order. My 7 year old son loves SpongeBob and noticed she had a SpongeBob decal on her shirt. He mentioned it and told her he liked it a couple of times and again she just seemed annoyed. This did not leave a good impression with me. Everyone just seemed more interested in cleaning up. I understand wanting to go home but at 830 there is still an 1.5 before you close, it's not like we walked in 5 minutes to close.... It took about 20 minutes to get our food, totally fine and we left. The garlic cheese bread did not really have a garlic flavor at all but I did like the flavor of cheese bread with the meaty dipping sauce. Tasted similar to something my grandma would make, and we liked it. Also the pieces of bread are HUGE! So 2 pieces was enough for us. I got a pepperoni pizza and a meat lovers pizza. Both were very good! The crust was the perfect Minnesota crust and the toppings were plenty! I was torn on whether to give this place 3 stars or 4 due to service... In the end the food was good. I'm willing to give them another try at a different time. And I'm hoping the poor service last night was just a one off.

We took a pepperoni and sausage pizza as a takehome to cook, and it was OK but nothing special. Actually, I was a little disappointed. Number one, they didn't have instructions on how to cook this. Second, the flavor was a little off. I felt like the tomato sauce was a little too sweet and the cheese wasn't soft like where you could stretch it across from one arm to the next. 2/5 Observation: they may be new to the "take and bake" pizza so you may have to give them a break as they fix and enhance this new concept.

Service was very good. Quiet restaurant as it seemed like people were mostly picking up their pizza so we basically had it all to ourselves at the time. My spaghetti was okay. Overall it wasn't bad. The outside looks like something out of a horror film so I was pleasantly surprised at how welcoming the staff was and how attentive they were. Maybe next time I'll try the taco pizza I somehow didn't notice they had! I'm disappointed in myself for missing that. Not something you see that often on menus!

Pizza Flame may be the last "mom and pop" pizza joint in the Blaine/ Coon Rapids area. Sometimes you will get a good pizza and other times you will get an amazing pizza. Thank you Pizza Flame for still trying and not selling out.

Great thin crust pizza and great service! I finally tried these guys out last night. We shared a large thin crust Meat Lover's Pizza and it was very good. We also enjoyed talking to our server, who was very friendly and happened to be a family member of the owner. According to the staff, Pizza Flame uses the same pizza sauce as Mansetti's. I believe this because to my taste, the pizza tastes nearly identical to Mansetti's pies. And that's good...because I love Mansetti's Pizza too. I'm glad I stopped by. If I lived a little closer or if this was my neighborhood, I'd be a regular customer. I'd like to stop in one more time and try the pasta. Thumbs up! Thanks, Pizza Flame! -Daddy Maxx Retro

Best thin crust sausage pizza around. So salty, crunchy, cheesy, and great sauce. Pizza Flame is a Coon Rapids staple that we have to stop by and eat whenever we are in the neighborhood.

Could have used more cheese. Avoid the sausage. Too salty. Otherwise perfect!

Great pizza! Thin crust is not too thin. The garlic bread is huge and we took most of it home.

Not what they once were. The food and service are only average at best. What a shame, years ago they were the best in town.

What a nice time. Despite the size of our group, the evening was handled very well. We had two very attentive servers who did a fabulous job keeping up with drinks, food, and all the little things that come with a large family gathering. They were friendly, organized, and never made us feel rushed. My usual order is the Black Fettuccine with Lobster, which I highly recommend, but this time I changed it up and ordered the Combo Lasagna and Chicken Parmesan. It was excellent. As always, the bread with olive oil, parmesan, and fresh cracked pepper was awesome. You have to discipline yourself to stop eating so much warm bread that you don't fill up before your meal comes. For appetizers, we shared three Bruschetta orders, the Bacon-Wrapped Dates, and the Calamari Fritti. Everything was very good and perfect for a larger group to share. The overall experience is what keeps us coming back. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, they have a great patio during the summer months, the food is always consistent, and the service is typically very good. It's just a reliable place for a nice night out or a special family gathering. I wouldn't rate a chain restaurant with 5-stars, but Biaggi's never lets us down. Solid 4-star experience every time we visit.

Great place - 5 stars!…read more I've been buying most of my meat products from Coborn's in Ramsey for many years. But I haven't been very happy with the "Four Brothers" brand. (The previous "Kretschmar" brand was even worse.) Fortunately, I visited Anoka Meat and Sausage for the first time and I'm very impressed. This is definitely my new go-to spot for my zero-carb, meat based diet. This place has nearly everything you could ever want from a meat market. Plus, they have tons of extra specialty products like spices, rubs, sauces...and more. And they're the ONLY place I've found (so far) in my local area that offers bacon with no added sugar! I don't know why it's is so hard to find processed meat with no sugar. Companies insist on throwing sugar in every damn food product and they even do it with meat...rotisserie chickens, hot dogs, sausages, hot dogs, jerky, brats, bacon, braunschweiger, etc. Don't believe me? Read the labels. They try to hide it by listing sugars on the ingredient label as organic cane juice, turbinado sugar, sucanat, molasses, honey, dextrose, kings syrup, invert syrup, maltose...you name it...they try to sneak it in everything. I found a website that lists sugars by 65 difference deceptive and sneaky names. It's sad. I guess the big food companies want everyone to be diabetic. Last but not least, the employees are very friendly and I feel the prices are very reasonable. You can go to Main Street Anoka and buy a high end product for the same price (or less) than the big box grocery stores with questionable quality. What's not to love? Thumbs up! -Maxx

Looks like they have patio dining in the summer months. We came NYE so service was a little slower but friendly. Someone was making sure our waters were filled and used plates taken away. Food was definitely freshly made. We ordered the mussels for appetizer. We chose the spicy tomato sauce and it was yummy. My husband ordered the veal Marsala and it came with choice of soup or salad and a side of pasta. Penne with red sauce was the standard or upgrade to fettuccine Alfredo. Creamy clam soup was delicious. Nice and rich. Fettuccine noodles were over cooked but the cream sauce was so good. You can taste the fresh cream. It was slightly under seasoned but nothing a little salt didn't fix. The veal was nice and tender, lots of mushrooms, and a side of steamed green beans. This dish was also slightly under seasoned. I ordered one of the specials, a pasta bolognese. Supposed to come with penne but I requested it with fettuccine. Noodles were cooked better than the Alfredo but still slightly overcooked. The bolognese sauce was so delicious. They give you bread for the table but it was dense and lacked flavor. Glass of wine, appetizer, and two entrees came out be a little under $100 before tip. Overall, we enjoyed our experience. Not a knock your socks off place but nice and cozy with freshly prepared dishes.

Spaghetti was the winner of the various foods we brought home I would definitely order that again. The Filetto had too many mushrooms and not enough beef or Gorgonzola for us. It is a small space inside so definitely suggest reservations if you're dining in.
