We decided to try some place different for pizza . We tried the flat bread two years ago and it was good but never went back and tried the pizza . Saw an advertisement of pizza guys and the pizza looked good with cheese dripping off the pizza . It was just my husband and I eating so we only wanted a med pizza . My husband called and asked if they had any specials , at first the girl that answered said they had a lg puzzle special for 17 something and my husband said ok thank you then the girl said oh we also have a med two topping pizza for 12.99 . He said ok thanks and hung up . My husband called back to ask what they charge for extra toppings for a med pizza a guy answered didn't seem to speak English to well and he said it would be two dollars and fifty cents for each additional topping. When he got off the phone, I said that seem kinda high for extra topping on a medium pizza. We're on our way back home and decided to just stop in and order the pizza. As we were driving, I went on the website as if I was ordering the pizza and according to the website it was $1.99 for extra toppings on a medium pizza and $2.50 for topping on a large pizza. When he went in to order the pizza, he had a hard time ordering with the guy as if he was gonna charge 250 per topping husband said online it says $1.99. Anyways, my husband ordered the medium two topping pizza special and added Canadian bacon and extra cheese..it took along time and it wasn't busy at all . We went home and I opened the box of pizza . The pizza looked terrible . The pizza was dry like it was over cooked in the oven . Didn't look like there was extra cheese and I like sausage on my pizza . There was one little piece of sausage on two slices of the pizza and the others had two little sausages on the slices. I only live a few minutes down the street but I'm telling you the pizza look like it had been sitting for a half hour. It did not taste fresh at all. My husband called and spoke to the same guy and he didn't even understand what my husband was saying at first he said sausage was very skimpy. There was maybe a total of 10 small pieces of sausage on the whole pizza and the guy said sauce and my husband said no sausage and then guy said that's how much we put on our pizza. My husband said you gotta be kidding me there's some slices. That have one little sausage on it. The guy working didn't even show any concern about the quality of the pizza he didn't offer to come back in and remake the pizza. Nothing at all not even a sorry for the inconvenience. I don't know if it was just a bad night or the guy didn't know how to make pizza like I said it wasn't only just the sausage. The pizza was dry and overcooked. It was just really bad. I will stick to porky's off of McKinley. They have really good pizza and we even told the guy that and he did not care. Oh well, I guess that's what we get for trying a new place. This pizza is delicious! flavorful and exactly what pizza should taste like. The dough was fluffy and crispy. The pepperoni was crispy too. I got the duo and it was amazing. Service was quick and efficient. I wish it was more of a restaurant feel, as there is only a barstool to sit 4 people. But other than that it's delicious and i would definitely order again. Oh. This was our first time ordering from here, saw the mixed reviews here on Yelp and wanted to give it a try. I had really high hopes because some of the reviews were great. We ordered 2 medium pizzas, 1 order of cheesy bread, and 1 dinner salad. The bread was a 3/10, plain and simple, without much flavor. Tasted like cheese melted on bread. Expected something more like a garlic cheese bread, but it wasn't that. Salad was a 5/10, very fresh, dressings are Ken's dressings I believe, nothing special, it very much lacked in the toppings department compared to some other pizza places. Pizza was a 6/10, not memorable but not bad. The toppings on one pizza was fine. The second pizza was a 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 pepperoni/jalapeño, it literally had like 8 jalapenos on it, really disappointing. I will insert a photo of the pizza and lack of jalapenos. It did have a decent amount of pepperoni, but meh. We always order from Norco Pizza Company on 6th street and California. It is fantastic.
