This was once upon a time the best pizza place in Monrovia, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I ordered two pizzas as usual: a pepperoni with extra sauce, well done, and a jalapeño pepperoni with extra sauce, well done. Neither was prepared correctly. I contacted the store and was offered a remake, but only if I drove back to pick it up. There was no option for redelivery, and the interaction felt dismissive rather than helpful. It was my daughter's first Mother's Day and her husband's birthday on Sunday. My wife and I decided to take them lunch since they are engaged with child rearing. It occurred to me that what they really needed was Meatball sandwiches from Monrovia Pizza Co. They were so happy. My daughter just sat there smiling and wiggling her feet as she ate. My son in law had this look of total contentment and just rocked back and forth a bit as he ate. She had forgotten how good they were and he had never had one before. The bread roll was toasted. The meatballs were hidden in the rolls covered with cheese. Inside these glorious delicacies were perfectly flavored meatballs smothered in marinara sauce. Both of them commented on how much marinara sauce there was. Yes, the toasted roll, meatballs and cheese that gushed out the ends were important, but the generous amount of marinara really makes the sandwich. As always the service was excellent. Your answering system states that your store opens at 10:00 am on Sunday. The person I talked to, at 10:29 am, told me that they don't open until 10:30 am. This is obviously a problem that needs to be corrected. I called three times before 10:30 am and no one picked up the phone. I was on hold for about five minutes each time and finally hung up. And you know what's going to happen as a result of this? When someone finally does pick up the phone, they may have an angry customer on the other end of the line, who many not be as nice as your associate might want them to be. Why subject your employees to this, when it's not even their fault? Fix the problem! On your website, your menus need to provide more information as to what your ordering. For example, All your pizzas have a name and photo, which is fine but, why don't you put a subsection in there that tells customers exactly what toppings are on the pizza? The only way I was able to find this out was to place an online order for a pizza, then select "customize". This is where it will tell you what toppings are on it. Too much trouble to find out, in my opinion. Fix the problem! Pizza sizes. Your website indicates what size pizzas you have, but no further information, like how many slices each pizza has, and the suggested number of people that the particular pizza size will provide for. We love this place and have been coming on/off for years. It's now our go-to pizza shop. I was looking at the menu on Yelp and couldn't figure out why my total was off. Looks like the prices went up, but they are still competitive for what you get. The pizza is delicious and size is generous. I uploaded menus with pricing as of 12/16/2023. The wings are a surprising hit. Very tasty and decently priced. Service is fast. Keep in mind that you can always order ahead for the following day. Had a cozy Sunday night in watching movies and thought to myself that I needed pizza. I acted on impulse and came across Monrovia pizza Company . I had a co worker once tell me that you're not a true Monrovian until you have had their pizza. So I ordered a mini pizza just for me and a 6 piece of wings ( not pictured due to me devouring them) . Pizza was great! Crust was thick and crunchy. Maybe a little too much pizza sauce, but I'm just weird like that . Toppings were plentiful. Wings were huge and in just the right amount of sauce. It is located in a run down shopping center and the place itself could use a face lift. The parking lot is small but it was pretty empty when I arrived. I was greeted at the counter right away. Where to start. I ordered 3 pizzas and pizza bread, 2 pizzas were correct one completely wrong. Which is why the 2 review. At least they got those 2 right. Ordered a BBQ chicken pizza, half with chicken only, the other half with bell pepper, onion and cilantro. Called to tell them it was wrong and as they repeated the order to me 4 times they insisted I agreed to that even though the order read back to me was "a BBQ pizza half the pizza chicken only , the other half chicken, bell pepper and onions". Yea that's what I ordered not what I got. Argued with me the cooks did it correct and I was wrong. Girl was very rude, tried to get her to visualize and then she said they will give me credit this one time because I had agreed with the order the way the person took it.
