Pepperoni and Warehouse slice... sorry I was hungry haha
    Lala J.

I stumbled upon this place on a fated accident and initially visiting their Pasadena location because I was starving and wanted something easy, so I stopped by and so happy I did because it is so good! I am not even a pizza person and I was so impressed but also sad because I live about half hour from the Pasadena location. A week later I was in Monrovia, a town closer to my home and saw they opened a location here and I was stoked! What a stroke of luck and happy coincidence they opened another location. I came in today for lunch and I am so happy. Please support! So delicious. Wish you all abundant success in your new location.

Warehouse slice of amazing pizza - so happy they've come to Monrovia!

Things I love about Pie Life Pizza - everything! The pizza is delicious - my personal favs, in order of preference, are the thick crust Sicilian pepperoni & the warehouse! I love that you can order by the slice, they have a few slice combos with a drink and or salad, you can build your own pie to sample various slices, or just a full pizza pie of your choice to eat there or bring home to the fam. I can walk in here and eat lunch or dinner and walk outta there happy and content for only $5-15 or feed my family of 4 for $35...ya know, in this economy. The service is quick. They heat the slice up and it's usually ready within less than 5 mins. The ambiance is low key, casual - warehouse style. I can't say it enough how happy I am Pie Life Pizza has arrived in Monrovia & is a lovely addition to our old town collection of businesses!

My group & I were sooo happy we happened upon this place! The pizza crust was perfectly crispy AND chewy in the right places. Flavors were spot on. We can't wait to come back and try out the rest of the pizzas.

I do miss the old pizza place at this location, but the new one is a pretty delicious replacement. Love the 2 slice combo with drink for only $11.50, all day too. There's about 9 different pizzas with slices to choose from. The service is always friendly & pizza is warmed up quickly and perfectly. Lots of seating indoors & out. Been here a few times & will definitely be back again

Stoked to have Pie Life here in Monrovia near home. We frequent the Pie Life in Pasadena near work. NY Style slices are top tier. Perfectly cooked with generous toppings. Side of ranch is the perfect dip with a delicious chocolate chip cookie to finish off lunch. Pepperoni, Pepperoni Burrata, and Sausage & Peppers slices are great. Need to try the Sicilian next!

2nd! Woohoo! Having Pie Life is livin' my best life on a Friday haha! Def lived up to hype that I have heard from their Pasadena branch. Ordered the NY Pizza with extra cheese and half pep on their website but had glitchy issues with completing my order because the order won't go through if you don't choose a topping for a whole pizza (there was not an option for No Topping) even though I was ordering a half cheese half pep so ended up getting triple extra cheese which was well worth it! Possibly the best NY style pizza nearby and def better than Village Pizza in Sierra Madre. Lastly the pizza, and the crust tho! It's density and crust's crunch held up with all that cheese pull and the NY pizza fold was legit. The pizza had snap and wasn't floppy like Sengun for the Rockets who will lose to Lakers tonight (I'm calling it 1 hour before game time haha)

    Regular slice. Margherita. White.

Fantastic spot! Easily the best place in Monrovia and one of the best in SGV. Super thin and crisp. A perfect bake.

The best pizza is now blocks away from Home!!!!! You have to try all the slices and definitely get the Cauliflower crust. They're always so welcoming and hope only the best for this place.

Had a great first experience with Redwood Pizza and will definitely be returning! Delicious pizza…read more(fresh AND leftover), great wings and salad, friendly staff even when super busy, and a wide variety of specialty pies on the menu along with customizable options and interesting side orders like their nacho potatoes.  For our pizza we got a medium build your own with meatballs, jalapenos, onions, and garlic. At 12" it was the perfect amount to feed the two of us for two meals. The crust is soft and pillowy and had the perfect char. The sauce was sweeter than most places and even though I don't like sweet flavors in my savory foods it totally worked - I really enjoyed it. Very decent pie and would get again.  We also got a 6-piece wings with traditional buffalo sauce and a small greek salad - both flavorful and delicious - would also get again. I especially loved the creamy crumbled feta on the greek salad and the variety of veggies. The shop was swarming with customers placing to-go orders and the phone was ringing off the hook while I visited - but the staff stayed friendly, attentive, and very helpful - he even gave regular updates on order wait times to me and the others waiting which I really appreciated.  Prices seemed a tad high to me - but I feel that way everywhere I go lately and they don't seem any more expensive than anywhere else out here nowadays lol. Plus the quality is definitely there and I will still be returning.  The vibes were chill with a nostalgic pizza place feel, cute valentine's day window paintings, and several TVs showing sports while you eat. They're located in a large, easy to find shopping center with plenty of parking.  We ordered to-go and it was ready in about 30 mins - which isn't too bad considering how busy they were. So I suggest calling ahead and placing your order unless you just want to grab a beer there while you wait, which many people were doing.  All in all I enjoyed the food and experience and look forward to trying the nacho potatoes next time!

The sauce was perfectly tangy. The cheese was oozy and had the pull we all love on a pizza. We enjoyed the meal to the last bite. The shop was small and hidden but was soooo busy. There was a consistent flow of foot traffic's for being on the 2nd floor. Friday night to go orders were many and a few diners. The place does not have a restroom so maybe others knew better. It was a great place for a quick yummy bite. The service was delightful and sweet. It only took 15 minutes for a 4 squared pizza. We will definitely be back for more!

I'd heard about Fuji & Vi's years ago but never got around to visiting since it's a bit of a drive…read more We happened to be in the area recently and decided to finally stop by. If you're visiting with a stroller, I'd recommend leaving it behind if possible. There are no elevators and while ADA-accessible ramps are available, they were somewhat out of the way. The walkways are also very narrow, with tables from neighboring eateries further limiting the space. The restaurant itself is quite small, with only three indoor tables that seat four people each, no outdoor seating available. Since all the tables were occupied, we opted for takeout. When we arrived, no one was at the counter so we had to ring the bell to get assistance. The Detroit-style pizza was delicious and definitely lived up to expectations. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the pizza had great flavor overall. My only major complaint was the temperature inside the restaurant. The thermostat was showing 87 degrees, and it felt very warm. Standing inside for just a few minutes while ordering was uncomfortable so I can't imagine dining in and enjoying a hot pizza in those conditions. Despite the heat and limited seating, the pizza itself was delicious and worth trying if you're in the area.

Overall 4 stars, but I see 5 star potential as I explore more of the menu during future visits…read more I liked the service we received. Our server was a young man named Courage, and I appreciated his patience and good manners. The host at the front counter was pleasant to interact with as well. The food was good overall, but somewhat hit or miss. We tried the 40z Florentine T-Bone Steak for Two (ordered medium), and found it to be acceptable overall - some portions seemed closer to medium rare, while other sections seemed well done. I'm no expert on steaks, and my limited understanding is that a steak this massive can show variation in Doneness, so please disregard this observation if you believe it to be unduly critical. I plan to return and sample the other steaks (and dishes) at this eatery, I get the feeling I will probably find them to be more to my liking. Of note is the restaurant's (current) novel menu pricing model - their steaks (and a few other items from what I remember) are 50% off their listed price every day except for "holidays and special occasions" (or something along those lines). I would consider this dynamic pricing model better than restaurants who mark *up* their listed prices during select days of the year (e.g. Valentine's Day). The parking lot is on the small side, but we were fortunately able to secure a space during our visit. The chimichurri that accompanies the steak is a bit on the noticeably spicy side.

Everyone seemed nice enough, but they also appeared confused and unsure of what they were supposed to be doing. The whole experience had a strange, disjointed vibe. You order at the counter and sit outside. Limited counter seating inside. The best part is they offer slices, so you can try many of their NY style thin crusts. Check the case for what's available as a slice. Tip: They also have square pies a la Detroit style. Tip: The pizza transports well and is great the next day. They have a decent cookie as well. Try their cheese, vodka, margherita, or pepperoni/sausage if you are feeling meaty. Kid friendly, and has a restroom on site. Definitely worth the pilgrimage. Tip: Combine with a visit to Hot Tongue pizza to make a great pizza crawl.

I had heard many good things about this joint and I finally tried it for myself. To be honest,…read morethis is just an average pizza for me - it sorta reminds me of something you would find at a fair. There's only one size available so that's a problem if it's just you. As you can see, the pizza is huge! Yes, you can buy slices but it makes more financial sense to buy a whole pizza. Next, this is not a "cheesy" pizza. So, if you like all that gooey cheese on your pizza, you're going to be disappointed here. The cheese is so minimal you may ask yourself if there's in fact any cheese on the pizza. The cheesy bread, however, will satisfy your desire for gooey cheese. Highly recommend you pick up a side of the bread. It reheats up nicely too. As pictured, there's inside and outside dining areas. I went when it just opened so there were only a few people dining. Parking here will not be easy. I was told that if you pass the residences, there is ample parking on a vacant lot. This is not the safest neighborhood so if you're a female and you're by yourself, you may not want to park that far and make that walk (especially at night). There is a Dollar Tree across the street with a lot, however, that establishment also tends to draw sketchy characters. So, if easy parking is one of you're requirements, you may want to pass on this place. All in all, this place was more hype and it left me craving that satisfying cheesiness that should be on a pizza. I definitely won't have this place on rotation when I get that pizza craving. No hate, I just love my pizza cheesy. ‍
