Tonight I took my family to order pizza at Pizza Guys on Yosemite in Manteca at 9:20PM. Door was open and open sign was on, while hours on sign stated that they closed at 10PM. With 6 employees behind the counter the manager told my family that they were short staffed and the ovens just got turned off and they refused to take our order. Luckily, Jack's Pizza down the street (also closing at 10PM with only 3 employees on staff) took our order. I forgot how much better Jack's pizza is over Pizza Guys. Good luck to Pizza Guys while they hire managers with poor judgment. read more

Pizza Guys has been our favorite pizzeria for several years now because of a combination of good tasting pizza, fair-good price and fast & friendly service (we always pickup & never get orders delivered). But lately I've noticed they've skimped on the ingredients, in particular, the Italian sausage we include with the pepperoni. It used to be you could get pepperoni and sausage with every bite. But now there's so few sausage on the pizza that you have to take a couple of bites before you taste sausage. So you can't label our sausage & pepperoni an actual sausage & pepperoni pizza. It's a pepperoni-and-an-occasional-sausage pizza--to me, a rip off!And I hate the feeling of getting ripped off. But other pizzerias, we refuse to go back to, mainly because to poor customer service. read more

I moved to Manteca from SoCal a couple weeks ago, and my boyfriend convinced me to order from Pizza Guys rather than our usual Dominos. Had a very horrible experience. Ordered a pizza and had special instructions with no onion because I'm allergic. The pizza was covered in red onion. When I asked them to remake it they missgendered me and called me she when I am clearly a man. I corrected them and they proceed to call me her/she. My girlfriend had to ask for a refund because I was in such shock that one there was onions all over the pizza and two I was getting called the wrong pronouns. GLUTEN FREE PIZZA REVIEW: I have a gluten allergy and I'm fully aware that most pizza place cannot guarantee that their gluten free pizzas are free from contamination. YET, some places are better with this then other. I ordered for the first time from here when I found out they had gluten free. The pizza comes in one size, small-medium size(which is common) good for 1 person. Or 2 people with small appetites lol. The pizza was very good I will say. I was happy with it. The crust was not overcooked as some thin gluten free pizzas come out. The cheese n meats I got was good as well. HOWEVER, I did start feeling sick an hour after eating and had bad stomach pains(gluten contamination) so sadly I cannot eat here. If you are very sensitive to gluten or have celiac disease, I wouldn't recommend unless you wanna risk it! read more

Every pizza place I've ordered from, I always tell them that I would like it loaded with pineapple. Pizza Guys is the only place that gets it right AND they surprised me with this Spongebob drawing in the box! I told them that I wanted loaded with pineapple and to think of me as Spongebob lol I LOVE pineapple! This is what I got. My tummy was so very happy! That was a commercial style pizza. Nothing special about that bread is so plain so bland. The pizza had like no flavor I should've went to Little Caesars Little Caesars had more flavor than that it's better than Pizza Hut but pizza hut sucks. The only good part about the pizzas are sausages really good they have good sausage good sausage is hard to come by. They don't even make their own ranch they buy it they source it. I wont be back. I have found a new favorite pizza place! Finally, I'm not stuck with a national pizza chain with subpar pizza just for the convenience! Pizza Guys has some of the best pizza I have ever tasted. I haven't had a pizza that I truly enjoyed in about 15 years. It's akin to walking through a desert and finally having a drink of water. What can I say? I've never actually walked through a desert and I really enjoy food. Anyways, Pizza Guys is somewhat more expensive than the cheaper and much more mediocre tasting alternative, but I couldn't care less. If you have an allergy to wheat beware. The gluten free crust is free from wheat, soy, and milk which of really great, but they use the same pans/screens to cook both gluten free and regular pizza. In asking them about cross contamination, their response was that they run the pans/screens back through the oven. Eek! They should have separate pans for gluten free to avoid cross contamination. Other than that, their customer service was friendly and efficient. I really liked the personality of both people we spoke to during our visit. My wheat-eating dad loved their pizza, so the product seems really good. The rating I have given loses one star because of the unknowledgeable response and another because of the severity of what would have been a disaster had I not further questioned their process. Staff need more training on this topic. read more

I usually don't complain but this time I must..the last two times my order has been well below par..the first time I chopped it up to a fluke but this time I had to repost a reviewI received a text that stated my order was out for delivery..it arrived over 40min after I received my text ,cold ,and not close to right... I called to complain about it being cold ,and not right and was very rudely told it was impossible to be delivered cold , wouldn't even address the part about it being made wrong.. first off Im pretty sure I know what a cold pizza is.. secondly I was then told it would be at least 90min to 2 hrs to receive a remake that's over 3.hrs from when I placed my order. Wtf.. so I'm stuck with a cold order that's wrong... Apparently ordering 6x+ a month doesn't entitled me to get my order at very least luke warm and made right ...very disappointed and dissatisfied... I never tried Pizza Guys before and decided to give it a try. I ordered 2 medium specialty pizzas, one all meat and one all veggie with extra sauce. It was easy to order online and the pizza was delivered pretty fast. It was the best veggie pizza I ever had. I loved the fact that they put lots of diced fresh tomatoes on top. I don't eat meat on my pizza but my son and husband devoured it in no time. I will order again and again! read more

There pizza was great at one point although the last time I ordered there were several issues with the quality. Today I went to order online and realized they raised prices again. I understand price increase but its increased almost 1/3 in the past 3 years or so. You use to be able to get 2 for $20. 2 large 2 toppings. It raised to $22-$24 and now 2 for $28 they don't put $28 though they changed it to 2 for 13.99 each. Let's be honest we can all do basic math. I don't mind paying more for good pizza but it seems there prices are going up faster then the competition. I can get domino's Pizza hut or little cesears for a lot less. Based on current reviews the quality seems to have dropped as well. There almost as much as Mountain Mikes and I'd prefer them over pizza guys. read more

Poor service, I ordered bogo pizza (coupon online for buy one get one free large or extra large pizza), and I elected to pick up my order rather than have it delivered. My reasoning was simple, when you spend more than $20 AND pick up your order, pizza guys gives you a free 2 liter soda. However, when I went to pick it up I was told I could not get a free 2 liter soda because I used a coupon online. This is bad customer service.
