Most of the pizzas I've bought here are well made and tasty, for the price. One time I got a shitty pizza with all the cheese slid off to the side, and I hit corporate up on twitter about it. The communication from them and subsequently from the Pittsburgh store manager was prompt. They set me up with a free replacement pizza and it ended up being fine. I appreciate the customer service, follow through, and overall consistency. The delivery fee is too expensive on top of a tip for the driver. I know it's standard but I've always thought delivery fees are horseshit and pizza guys is no exception. I'd rather give the driver a bigger tip instead of paying the company for a service they are already making money on and which should be provided for free as one of the very basic functions of a pizza place. read more

I was delighted to be able to use Yelp Eat24 on this to go order and I have to say I was indeed delighted and I plan to use this a little more often when I have my..lazy days. This is a chill weekend for me and Yelp and Eat24 came through for the Gold Chain Foodie and for that im delighted, now lets get to reviewing.. Last night (1-9-16) I woke up with a craving for some pizza. Sure I could of gotten a "Hot and Ready" from Little Ceasers, or grabed a "Carry Out" from Dominos. But I wanted something a little..more. So I had to choose between Pizza Hut, and Pizza Guys. So how did I make my choice....I flipped a quarter, heads Pizza Hut, tails Pizza Guys, and I got Tails. So Pizza guys it was. So I seen on the Yelp site for them that you can order from the page and even customise your order.....very cool Yelp/Eat24 I can dig that indeed. So my carnivorous side of me desired meat, so I went with the all meat pizza. I ordered a large with standard tomato sauce and..that's it really, pretty straight forward. My pizza arrived in the allotted time frame they gave from the ordering page (between 35 - 45 min) My only real minus was my pizza was kinda lukewarm upon arrival. Didnt feel like they used a insulator bag when they were transporting my pizza. Considering how close this Pizza Guys location is to my house, it still should of had the steam rising from it..but that's just me. In conclusion, not a bad way to spend $27.51 which is I feel just about adverage, and me being lazy, I didn't mind the convenience factor. This Pizza Guys location is off Railroad here in Pittsburg. Not bad pizza at all, although their are locations that I enjoy maybe a little more. The reviews for this pizza joint are so funny but a little off. However there are a few that i do agree with. Sometimes the pizza is not that good, and it leaves you thinking about the last time you ate there, and it wasn't this bad! Used to order here about twice a month, and would have given it 4 stars at one time. That being said, their pizza changed recently. Not sure if they are using different cheese or different sauce, but it's really, REALLY nasty now. The last three times I ordered it was just...gross. I gave it a few chances in case it was a one off, but nope. Used to love their pepperoni pizza but the last two I ended up throwing it out it was so disgusting. I live right up the street and it's been my pizza of choice for years out of convenience, and even though the quality fluctuates it's usually still my favorite pizza. I just had a pizza yesterday and it was one of the better ones, so let's hope they don't change it again. Whatever they started doing with the crust is divine. My only problem is that it's over priced. I used to order a pizza once a week like clockwork, hell sometimes my order would be ready without having to call. But now i'll drive all the way to pizza hut if I have to, even though I don't like it nearly as much. Come on pizza guys...I miss my weekly pizza, fix your prices. read more

Ok I'm upgrading these "guys" to 4 stars. The pizza isn't horrible and since my last review have been pretty consistent. Since I live so close I just pick It up. Called and ordered a pizza for my kids and they said 45 mins until Pizza arrived and an hour and 20 mins later along with 2 phone calls and still no Pizza not to mention had 3 kids waiting for dinner and the manger offered no discount or just a refund and cancel the pizza order so waste of time!! I just moved to Pittsburg and decided to try them out since I was craving pizza after a soccer game and my favorite pizza joint in Concord did not open until later on Sunday. After ordering the Hawaiian Delight I picked the pizza up 15 minutes later and was given a free soda for picking the order up. The pizza appeared hot and fresh when I got it home a few minutes later, and the pizza was just ok. There were plenty of toppings, which was nice. But the sauce was the cheap, canned stuff that the low-end pizza joints must buy in bulk from whichever distributor offers them the best price. The crust was hard, dry and bland, so the crust went to the dogs. The dogs had not problems with the crust, however. In hindsight I would have probably gotten better off just getting frozen pizza at Safeway. A couple stars since they didn't skimp on toppings and for the "free soda" gimmick. The quality of the pizza was terrible, it's as if they took a cooked cheese pizza then topped it off with uncooked veggies. They barely put enough sauce and the cheese was hard. Super considered.. i ordered 4 sodas, they said all 20oz of that brand is at room temperature they asked if want to change to another brand. I said send me 1 cold the rest can be room temperature.. instead of sending me 1 different brand soda, they send me what i ordered and AN EXTRA same brand 2liter soda as a courtesy just bc they didn't have cold 20oz s!!! This used to be my favorite pizza place until we found hair in our pizza. The owner apologized and reimbursed us. Then after about 4 months with no problems we ordered 2 pizzas amd my whole family ended up with food poisoning. When I called in and talked to the owner he started to scream at me and told me that nobody else has complained. He also told me to come and get my money for the 2 pizzas and not to ever order from them again. He also told me that I'm a liar and that he thinks that it is funny that I would even say that there was a problem with his food. read more

This is pretty good food over all. I really found it to be on par with most other pizza places in the area. The price is a little on the high side but the food is worth it in my opinion. WARNING! Warning! WARNING! This reveiw is for one and one pizza alone. The Pepperoni and Garlic Sauce. It is absolutely the best on the west coast. Hands down by far. With that said, it has a catch. So I will preface this with I get that it's probably a busy night... That being said... We initially tried to place our order online, didn't work. No problem. We call to see if there's an issue, were hung up on a couple of times. Ok. They're busy. That's kind of rude but I get it. Finally we get someone on the phone and place our order. Cool. Except the first card machine didn't work so they had to use a different one. My wife had to repeat the card number at least 3 times. Turns out they double charged the card. No problem, we call them back. Noelee (sp?) said they'd have to call the bank and clear it up. That's all fine. Until the driver showed up. Driver (really nice guy named Andy) says we owe him for the order! I was like, oh no we got double charged and showed him my bank app that showed we were charged twice. He said, better call them. So I did. And was hung up on the first time. Then put on hold for 5 minutes. Ok. Pizza is getting cold, ice cream is melting and Andy has another delivery getting cold in his car. Finally I ask for a manager and the guy who finally picked up (Manny) doesn't even give us a chance to talk saying he doesn't have time to talk to us about the card issue and didn't even give us a chance to explain that the ticket they sent with Andy said we owed them cash. Basically Andy was able to get enough in to figure out the pizza was paid for and that was good enough for me. Felt bad because we didn't have any cash accessible for a tip so we scrounged something up for Andy being such a good sport. I don't know what the deal was with their computers tonight, but there's absolutely no reason to double charge a customer and then tell them they owe the bill. I will followup with my bank on Wednesday to make certain that the second charge is removed. Terrible service (except for Andy) and I will certainly be taking my busy back to Dominos or Pizza Hut. read more

Went to visit my cousin for the day and was craving pizza. Found this place on yelp, and glad I did! I ordered for pick up and was quoted 15-20 mins( and got a free ice cream for picking up ) score!!! Got there in about 20 mins and the lady was just finishing up my pizza. Staff was super friendly and sweet. The restaurant was clean and appealing. When I got the pizza it was hot and steamy ( how a pizza should be) When I got back to the house, we devoured the pizza immediately. The pizza was very flavorful with fresh ingredients and the crust was to die for! Will definitely be returning to this location! read more
