Excited to find a new pizza in my area, I tried the new Pizza Guys location. When I first called, I realized they offer three types of crust. Thin, thick and regular. I ended up trying all three. The staff was nice on the phone and in person. The location seems more a pickup/delivery place than dine-in. I ordered the same topping on all three crust types. The topping and sauce were good but on my last order, my tummy was not happy. For the price, it's a good deal but I'd rather pay a few more bucks for a higher quality pizza. Good luck to these guys. My wife and son were really excited. When It finally came, My wife grabbed it and took it inside the house while I was at the yard finishing my chores. After 15 mins I went inside ready to try one. When I opened the box, I was shocked to see that only two slices were taken. I immediately asked my wife, she told me and showed me that pizza was burnt, there were lumps of burnt . and yiu know what else she said, " LITTLE CAESARS IS WAY BETTER THAN THIS PIZZA!). I called and talked to manager. At first he said sorry, no problem only to be called back 5 mins later saying if the one of us took even the smallest bit on the pizza and he wont be able to help me. My money just went down the drain. This taught me one thing thou...never to eat here. My 5 year old didn't even tried a slice because all he sa was burnt crust. TO MY FELLOW CO RESIDENTS, WE ACTUALLY TOOK PHOTOS OF THE ACTUAL PIZZA BEFORE IT WENT STRAIGHT TO THE TRASH BIN. I'm not sure what the problem has been with Pizza Guys lately. The last 2 pizzas I've ordered have arrived over an hour after I placed the order and barely warm. I'd reheat it in the oven, but A) I shouldn't have to, and B) I don't want to wait for my oven to heat up. Perhaps they don't have enough drivers so the ones they do have are doing too much? I don't know. I called to complain about the last order, so they comped the delivery fee on the next order, but that one was late and cold too. I order from these guys all the time, since they are down the hill from my house. I love their food. I used to love close to a pizza guys restaurant in Oakland, and I love it. It is darn near impossible to get a pizza delivered on a Sunday morning by 11:30 a.m. from anywhere nearby in El Cerrito and most pizza places won't even answer their phones until 11 a.m. to place an order. So when I got a flier from Pizza Guys and they said I could order online and have it delivered as soon as 11 a.m. on a Sunday, I figured I would give them a try for my next Sunday Games Day. Ordered online and set for 11:30 a.m. delivery and hoped for the best. Sunday came around and at 11:25 a.m., the delivery guy arrived with everything piping hot in the box as if fresh out of the oven. Not bad, ordered 2x for delivery and both were just fine. Pizza delivered before the said 45 min. My fav is the garlic lovers, not so much the supreme. Roy at Pizza Guys blew me away with great service! I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza via Grub Hub, the pizza arrived quickly and piping hot. But, unfortunately he pizza was drowning in. BBQ sauce. Dissatisfied with the pizza, I called PG hoping they would pick up the wet pizza and replace it. Roy initially told me that the best he could do was give me $5 off my next order, and that he could not replace the pizza I received. I complained that the pizza I received was disgusting and that it should be replaced. He said the could not replace it so I said ok forget about it. One minute later Roy calls back and says ok I'll replace your pizza!
