The Chipotle BBQ was very good as well. Chicken was perfect! So many flavors to choose from. You should try all of them!

Almost redundant in many ways. Like, there are several options for just regular hot wings. There are like 6 different sweet sauce options. This was nice, but perhaps not completely necessary. It muddies the water a bit for newer customers deciding what to try. The order took awhile to come out, which I didn't mind so much as it typically indicates that it's being made to order...they were. Again, nice. Without trying them first, I was initially surprised and disappointed that the wings themselves were so tiny. So tiny. This first impression doesn't help this business. Not sure where they're sourcing them from, but I'd certainly recommend getting larger wings from your supplier. I've never paid for smaller wings. First bite, I could clearly tell that the wings weren't cooked enough. The meat was done, but without exception, all skin was chewy and rubbery instead of crispy and flavorful. One of the first rules of chicken wings is the skin should be crispy. We tried a total of 4 different sauces, which were all good. Possibly the most disappointing aspect of this visit was the price. We ordered 2 two-flavor combos, which each came with 6 wings and a decent portion of fries. These combos are each $15 and change. So for over $30, we got 12 mini wings and 2 orders of fries. I hope they're reading these reviews and are able to improve. I may wait a bit then give them one more try to see...

My teenage son and I were craving wings and decided to try Ikonic Wings after seeing good reviews…read moreabout them. We recently moved to Washington from California, so we've been missing our usual wing spots back home. Haven't tried any wing spots yet after our move so decided to give Ikonic Wings a try. We ordered in person since we weren't familiar with the menu, and the employee working the counter was super friendly and patient with all of our questions. I didn't see it on the menu so I inquired how many flavors we could select (i.e. 2 or 3 flavors for 18 wings??); She explained how the flavor selections worked depending on wing count (1 flavor for the 2 lowest selections, 2 flavors for the rest, includes Wings Only or Wings Combo). She even let us sample the Sweet Blaze sauce when we asked what the flavor consists of. The restaurant itself is pretty small with only about 3 tables inside, and we waited around 18 minutes for our order (she provided the estimated time in advance and we were willing to wait). There's also a small carryout fee if you order to go. We ordered 18 wings with the Badass Buffalo and Garlic Parmesan sauces for about $30, which felt fair imo. The wings were still hot when we got home, smelled amazing, and the chicken itself was definitely juicy and meaty. They don't skimp on portion size at all, and I actually liked the thick breading texture too. Unfortunately, the flavor just didn't really hit for us. I was hoping for something more flavorful and crispy like Fire Wings back in California. My son and I agreed that the buffalo sauce honestly tasted more like BBQ than buffalo, and it wasn't spicy at all. To me, the garlic parmesan mostly just tasted salty instead of cheesy or garlicky. Even with buttermilk ranch, the flavors still tasted pretty average. I do appreciate that they're veteran-owned and the customer service was genuinely great, but for wings, flavor is the biggest thing for me. I'd rather have smaller wings with bold flavor than bigger wings that taste kind of bland. Not sure if we'll be returning, probably around a 6 out of 10 for us personally. ***Editing to Add (after Owners Response): Appreciate the thoughtful response; please don't take it to heart! We have no issues with the price, just wanted to include as much details with our experience for those unaware like ourselves, so the carryout fee is completely understandable. The staff accurately made the order; the buffalo sauce just tasted more for us like a bbq/buffalo sauce we're used to from frozen store bought groceries, and our level of spice tolerance is higher so that could be why our standards weren't met. As for the garlic parmesan, I'm no chef, but if there is possibly a way to douse some fresh garlic parmesan on the chicken after the breading/frying, maybe that could improve the taste if some of it is lost from the process? Not attacking whatsoever, just food for thought. Also, When I mentioned ranch, we didn't try the ranch here, we had our own at home to eat with the wings, so no shade to your ranch :)

Then I saw the concerts, the art nights, the craft nights. It really is a social space with a ton of personality and the service is excellent. Often, I am mean girled with small businesses. Heck, I am mean girled in big business but that sucks less because it's cheaper and more convenient. The women who work here are kind to me and my family, even when busy and overwhelmed. The vegan cod is excellent. It's become a team name with my husband. I am eating the broccoli salad right now and am literally making love to it with my mouth. Is it the sunflower seeds? The red onions? Man, it's refreshing, small and guilt free (unlike my double screwdriver). This is a positive space. They help the community, no matter what they look like coming through the door. Now if I remember from what I read correctly the folks that run this place were employees of Wild Man Brewing which had a location here (but closed). After studying the tap list it looks like what they carry here primarily is guest tap beers and meads from local breweries and meaderies and doesn't appear that they make their own like the predecessor of this space. But that's okay as it's a really cool place. The guest taps they have are good... nice and cold. The food is good as well. I got a pulled pork sandwich... something that I haven't had in a really long time. I enjoyed it... it was nice and tasty! It was a nice sized lunch along with the fries. The people that work here are nice and friendly and the space here is fun. Definitely a cool place to come and hang out in!
