So who doesn't like the old style Pizza Hut restaurants, well Anderson has one of the older style huge restaurants and one of my 82 year old moms favorite places is Pizza Hut. So we stopped at this location and it was almost noon and we were greeted at the door by Debbie and she allowed us to pick out our own booth. She told us they had a buffet and it would be starting in about 15 minutes but that we could get started on the salad bar. Debbie got our drink order quickly and we loved the heavy glasses they used. She constantly kept our drinks full and cleared our plates all while making conversation. This salad bar was one of the best I had seen in a Pizza Hut, the toppings were all fresh and lots of salad dressing to choose from. The pizza bar was well stocked and it had a couple pastas, several pizzas, a few types of breadsticks and dessert sticks. Everything was delicious. Debbie told us they have the buffet 7 days a week. My mom just moved up the street from Florida a few weeks ago so you already know she will be a regular. We saw the sign on the wall that said Debbie had been there now 39 years and I can see why. Other places should take some lessons from her on how to wait tables. We will certainly be back. read more

This place has been great living locally to! Super incredible deals on the mobile app As well staff is incredibly polite even at the drive through window. But what really blew my socks off is the pizza buffet they have going on! The buffet was frequently getting different pizzas on the buffet as well as the salad bar was super fresh! The Pizza Hut at 1911 E. 53rd Street Anderson, In is the best one by far that my family has patronized. Not only is the lunch buffet always spectacular and well filled with many choices including various pizzas and salad, and desert items which are always fresh and delicious. The manager (Debbie) is wonderful at her job! She goes above and beyond. She greets everyone with a smile and always aims to make sure you have a great dining experience. She is always buzzing around refilling drinks, asking if everything is good and if anything else is needed and constantly cleaning up tables as customers leave. We've been to several other Puzza Huts and this one is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend!! read more

She has been a stable at this location since I started bringing my wife there in high school she 30 years ago or so. Today I ordered a large pepperoni pizza just like I have for the last 2 1/2 years and what I got was pepperoni shaved so thin that I couldn't pick it off and cheese so thin it was barely there. I called and was told that they have no control over what corporate gives them to put on the pizza so that was my last Pizza Hut pizza. read more

Ordered for delivery. 2 hours later and it's still not here. When I called to cancel the order, I was told it was out for delivery, so they can't cancel it. that was 45 minutes ago. Asked for corporate number and I was hung up on. I've ordered from this location 1-2 times a month for a year. I will not be going back. Staff was unhelpful and rude, and still don't have the pizza. 2+ hours and counting. read more

Not the greatest place to get pizza but is one to go. I do think they make good pizza it's just it's not a magical as something like pizza king or dominos. I do recommend going here. read more

On Mon May 2 we went to the P Hut on 53rd at 5:30pm to try their buffet. It was the first time we had gone there for that purpose. Simply put, it was horrible. Cold, weird looking pizzas that I defy anyone to tell me what the ingredients were. All except the taco pizza were thick crust, and were mostly crust, soggy at that. The cinnamon sticks were undercooked which resulted in a mouthful of bland dough. The salad was basic and just ok. The only thing there that could be descibed as good was the boneless chicken pieces. The $3.00 drinks had little ice and we didn't get service for a refill untill almost ready to leave. In all, two buffets and two drinks cost $39.90 with tax. What a waste of time and money. We both felt like we had been ripped off. Never again. read more

Ordered at midnight on a Saturday it came quick and was fresh not greasy I was pleasantly surprised

I almost drove 7 miles to the other Pizza Hut because of the poor reviews for this one. I'm from vigo county indiana not familiar with each restaurant. It was close and only food I was craving for lunch was Pizza Hut so I gave it s try. Glad I chose to order here the pizza and breadsticks were fast fresh and had good amount of toppings. Worst Pizza Hut that I have ever been to. My boyfriend loves Pizza Hut wings and deep dish pizza. So whenever we order pizza it is usually Pizza Hut. We moved around here in June. We have ordered from this Pizza Hut three times. Each time they have completely messed up the order and were rude about it. On the last order we ordered the hot wings for delivery. When they arrived we had gotten half the wings we ordered with some kind of garlic Asian style sauce. We called to let them know and the lady, who we knew from previous mess ups and is a manager, says that she did the order and knew it was right. I told her I had the receipt and it said we ordered two orders of the wings and we received one with the wrong sauce. We ordered extra blue cheese and got zero. We brought the order to the store because they didn't believe the sauce on the wings was wrong. We went in and the lady up front (not the manager) said they were the wrong sauce and said she would give us our exact order from the receipt redone. While waiting the cook from the back came out and tossed the wings on the counter saying that if these weren't okay she didn't know what to say. The manager hid in the back, like she does anytime she messes up, and the lady up front helped us with more grace than her. We later called to hopefully get another manager to tell them about our experience and they stated they would call us back and didn't. This incident was similar to the other times they messed up. No apology, manager hides, people roll their eyes and say we are wrong. read more

This Pizza Hut needs some serious TLC! While there, it started down pouring rain. Almost immediately rain came streaming down on my husband's shoulder from a leak in the ceiling above. After a better look, it was obvious by the bubbling of the drywall as well as the dark mold this has been an issue for quite sometime. There was a fly on my husband's drink. The salad bar was very slim on selections, and those containers that were offered were either completely empty or nearly empty. My salad consisted of lettuce, garbanzo beans and cheese. That's it!!! If this restaurant doesn't get it together it will probably fall to the same demise as so many other restaurants in this town. I hope they step up their game...and fast! read more

I get pizza on a weekly from 53rd street pizza hut and the last 2 times I wanted a special I was told I have to go do a online order so I looked up a large 2 topping pizza for 7.99 and I ordered 2 I thought when my bill was 18.some thing and I called the sore and the manager said I had hit a combination pizza and I took all the extra stuff off of it so I said I got a 2 topping if I took all the extra off how did it coast me almost 20.00 for one 2 topping pizza instead of 7.99 like advertised ? She said I could go back online and order a nother 7.99 and they would bring the second pizza back to me ? So then I would be paying over 30.00 for 2 large 2 toppings I told her my full name and I ask her to look up how many pizzas I order from them weekly because I will not get treated so disrespectfull again by them because the manager is busy I thought with all the money I have spent there in the past 4 years they would treat me a paying customer right I was very wrong Barb M read more
