Wife and I were looking for something not to busy and something a little quicker than Texas Roadhouse so we stopped at wing stop. Arrived. Only 2 people eating in the dining area. When ordering went to order 2 sauces since the menu says 1-2 sauces. Employee said I was only allowed to choose one. Went to ordering our food. When ordering didn't realize we ordered one of their specials for 2 which if you combine saves money. Almost paid before wife realized that and combined our meals. Yes it was only a 3-4$ savings but they were not going to combine or suggest it for us. Ordered food. Went to get drinks. 75% of the pops in the machine were out. Lids were empty. There was still some trays left in tables from previous people. There were 2 employees working at the time. When we walked in one was just standing on his phone. So I'm not sure why there was trash on tables, and things not stocked. Very disappointed. Good was fresh. They did not offer and mustard or ketchup for the fries. Disappointment for foodies who love condiments.

Veggie Sticks, sauces 2 cheese, 2 ranch, 1 honey mustard

So this review is for Thursday March 31, 2022. I wish I could individually review each item with stars, but being as honest as I can be the order would be 5 stars just based on how fast we got our order as it was sooner than 45 minutes stated for deliver, the items ordered was correct 100%, and it was warm when getting here too, which is a plus anytime you order your food. The reason for the 4 stars is mainly because how the food was per flavor / spices used, which I will explain. The order: 1 order of 30pc crew pack These were all boneless: 5 lemon pepper and 25 Hickory smoked BBQ also came with a side of large seasoned fries and veggie sticks. 1 order of 5 Cajun Fried Corn 1 order of a side of cheese sauce. They were generous with the sauces, we did get 1 honey mustard, but we got 2 ranch and 2 cheese, so it was nice for the extra sauces. So overall the service we received even though door dash delivered the food was a 5 star, the reason I gave 4 stars is because of the flavor of the food. One the major issues with the flavor is, the food is over salty. or the seasoning used has a lot of sodium in it. Issue is when ordering their is not nutrition to state how much salt/sodium is in the food, if it were stated, I would then sadly have to go with a competitor that does not over salt everything because I am having to watch what is in all the food I intake. of everything ordered the veggie sticks were only thing that did not have high sodium taste. I am unsure what the process is when cooking their chicken if it gets one season before the other, but lemon pepper for example, certain brands if not made yourself are loaded with high sodium content, the BBQ they used sadly the chicken tasted real salty, so not sure if seasoned before adding BBQ sauce. The Cajun corn had a lot of salty taste to it, as well the french fries. If one can either get past the salty food, unless use to eating salty food all the time, the food is good, but id this is how everything is made I may not be able to eat their food again, unless something can be done about the high sodium in the food ordered. I just wish there was able on their business website to see how the seasons are made as far as sodium goes and so on, so a person who has to watch certain things know if they can order that item or season or not. Overall wanted to give 5 stars, but because of my experience with the saltiness I gave 4 stars instead.

A pool of sauce at bottom vs on the wings

We walked in and placed our order to go and it did not take too long for them to complete everything (almost) .. Opened up bag and where we went wrong was counting containers vs open each one up .. one of the reasons we didn't was the fries were not in containers just open boats on top of the containers. When we got home we were missing the boneless wings. We called and drove back out to pick them up.. once we arrived back the manager felt we should of brought all the food back for them to check .. which makes no sense as everyone's food would of been cold except for the missing item... manager said this would be a one time exception to replace without all items brought back.. I've had wings for years and even at other wing stops... this was a first for me... wings untossed in sauce but a pool of sauce in container.. Probably will not be back for the manager expectation of bringing all food back for one item missing

Tell me how the inside could look like this and wait 30 mins for food... keep in mind our order was a 6 piece and fries.

I watched as people took their first bites. Forkfuls paused mid-air, conversations instantly ground to a halt, and eyes widened across every table. Jake Burgess and the crew from the Burgess Restaurant Group weren't just catering an event; they were executing a masterclass in craft for a crowd without taking a single shortcut. "You have got to try this," someone blurted out to my left, leaning across the table before even finishing their bite. "I'm tellin' you, Jake and his team don't miss," another replied. "Between FoxGardin, The Den, Bonge's, Carnegie's... it doesn't matter which spot it is, they nail it every single time." Taking it all in, it hit me why they stand so far apart. In a world full of safe, forgettable catering, Jake and the Burgess Restaurant Group served up the kind of deep, craveable food that ruins standard dining for the rest of us. It's the kind of cooking that makes you immediately start planning your next trip to one of their spots before you've even finished the meal in front of you. A massive, heartfelt shoutout to Jake Burgess and the entire Burgess Restaurant Group: FoxGardin Kitchen & Ale, FoxGardin Family Kitchen, The Den, Smoky's Concession Stand, Bonge's Tavern, and Carnegie's. Thank you for keeping us exceptionally well-fed last night!

We weren't going to get an appetizer but the bone marrow fries looked so good in pictures that we had to try them. They did not disappoint. Very large serving and extremely flavorful. Easily an appetizer for 4 or more people (there was only 2 of us so we brought some home). My dining partner is not normally a fries person and she loved these. For entree, my dining partner had today's special which was a shredded chicken sandwich that had a jalapeño cheese sauce and the house chips. She said it was very good and again half the sandwich came home. I had their breaded tenderloin which was very good, with nice breading to meat ratio and was a bit larger than the bun. It came with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. It came ala carte with no sides. Service was excellent, exceptionally friendly and really took care of us. One of the best waiters I've come across. Inside is a bar/pub like feel. We opted to eat in the air condition enclosed "patio" type area which had a bit more light, but was also noisy today due to the tin lined walls/ceiling and another group that was quite loud. Made it a bit hard to converse. Normally don't think this would be an issue. While not tons of items on the menu, the selection was quite varied and you could really splurge on a filet or other such dish and really go all in for a more lavish dinner or have a burger or tenderloin, all at any time of day. Parking was right in front of the restaurant but could see it being a bit tight on a busy day.

It's called Steak City, but it has Fish and Chicken (please don't tell me I'm not the only one who was initially confused by this). On our way there we speculated about what kind of place we were driving to, completely not expecting what we ended up at. The website for Steak City Fish & Chicken is far more polished than the establishment itself. By the website and from photos online it appeared to be a brightly colored place with an awning out front. It's not like that at all now. It appears to be something that used to be a convenience store with a drive up window, which in a fashion is what it is now, but the awning has since been replaced with an add-on entry way and the entirety of the exterior is a dull, dingy grey. The interior is half convenience store, half take-out kitchen. Above the counter is the two-panel menu. (photos included in review). There are A LOT of offerings, from burgers to nachos, tacos, wings, and fish, chicken & shrimp in a variety of combos. By default all meals come with fries (which you can opt out of for a reduced price). My wife and I both missed this when we ordered (not a big deal, actually). Each line item is also accompanied by a 'cooking fee' which varies from 50¢ to $3.00. Not really sure what that's about, but I'm guessing it's a way to kind of build in a tip, since there is no option to tip that I saw when paying. My wife ordered wings and I ordered chicken tacos. Since there are no seats we decided to peruse the convenience store area while we waited for our food. There is no beverage station, so any drink will have to come in can/bottle form from the coolers. The service process was easy and, in fact, as minimal as possible. "What would you like to order?" "That'll be $xx.xx". That was it. There are a number of coolers with mostly soft drinks, and quite a few not-entirely-stocked shelves with various non-perishables. We weren't surprised to see more than a few of the items well past their sell-by date. About 12 minutes later and our food was ready. I grabbed a bottle of Faygo® out of a cooler and we went outside to eat in our car. There is not seating area outside, either. At the end of the day, the food was AWESOME. My chicken tacos were very tasty, and my wife LOVED the wings. This is an odd/interesting place. The food was great, but the service and the establishment could use a little upkeep.

You can see everything in the kitchen area through that window. Several staff members in the kitchen none of them wearing any gloves and all were handling the food with their bare hands. Best I could tell the only thing not touched by bare human hands was the Mac and cheese. The middle aged lady who ended up handing me my food touched all my wedges with her bare hands then proceeded to pick up my chicken wings and started plucking the pin feathers off the wings and then putting it back in the to go box. Needless to say that entire meal went in the trash when I got home. They also should be ashamed selling tiny pecan pies for $3 They are in my fridge so I can't speak to how they taste but at least they were prepackaged so I know that nobody touched them with their bare hands. These things probably happen more often than I care to imagine but If you are going to have a window where people can watch you in the kitchen then it's probably a good idea to wear gloves and use safe food handling practices.

Pittsburgh Rare steak preparation involves charring the exterior on a very hot flat-top and serving it rare. What I got was not this, as I could immediately tell by the fact that it had noticeable grill marks. They just cooked as usual for a rare order. What I was served was nothing like this as I got buttered rice that clumped together. No effort was employed in plating for appearance. I got a steak on a plate and a silver colored boat on which the rice was piled. The Cole slaw served as a salad was very good. The beer was cold and as expected.
