I heard the news that this Pizza Hut location underwent a makeover to become a retro Pizza Hut. It looks like a scene from the 80's and also has the old pizza buffet along with it. The 80's aesthetic looks pretty spot on from pictures I've seen before. The buffet itself was a little smaller than I expected but it was sufficient. Included in the buffet were pizza slices (cut into 16 slice portions), bread sticks, baked pasta, and cinnamon sticks. I heard that in the past, the buffet used to include salad but it seems absent in this version (that's fine, who's really eating salad at Pizza Hit anyway). It was pretty good. The pizzas were restocked quite a few times during my visit. They varied the toppings pretty well too. There were slices of cheese, sausage, mushroom, and veggie during my visit. The baked pasta was better than I expected. I liked the cheesy breadsticks that you can dip into marinara sticks. Make no mistake, this is still a Pizza Hut. Don't expect anything to blow your mind. This likely won't change your opinion of Pizza Hut's food. It was pretty busy during my visit. I guess word spread of the pizza buffet. This did cause a bit of wait to get seated. The nice side of being busy in a buffet is that the food is changed more often so is more fresh. Best of all, the price of the all you can eat buffet is retro too: $10. This is an amazing value in this economy. I would recommend everyone to check it out if they are ever in the area. read more

I personally haven't had any problems with Pizza Hut when you go to the store. However, when you call the outside companies to place an order they are disrespectful bad mannered they constantly hang up on you. No I don't recommend Pizza Hut Northfield. I've complained to the managers and they still do the same, they don't correct their errors. Also when you order a couple pieces of chicken with bone it's almost $30 a chicken is more than the pizza lol take my advice not worth it. read more

Haven't been reviewing as often as I liked because of COVID, but I got to get pizza with a friend and I have to say it was an alright experience. We ordered online and scheduled a time to pick up. Got a large bacon, mushroom, and olive large pizza with bread sticks. The crust was cheese filled and the pizza was good. Definitely taste like a Pizza Hut pizza. Not amazing but still does the job. If I can give this place 0 stars, I wish I could. In hospitality there are usually two types of people, order takers or guest service. Guest service is usually referred to fine dining and order takers are stereotyped for the typical chain restaurants. This place cant even execute order taking as they are masters at missing items. We like to bet anytime someone in my home wants to order from here that they will miss an item and I usually win. The manager is the king of not taking accountability. Instead of taking ownership and getting one his drivers to deliver the missed items, he blames it on the call center & tells us we should go and pick up the item free of charge as if he is rewarding us. Did you not forget we chose delivery for a reason? Huge inconvenience. I usually tolerate inconveniences due to lack of staff but as someone who has management experience from chain restaurants to fine dining its a shame to see this company miss the opportunities to make more money. Complacency no matter how small or big will only lead to going out of business. An entrepreneur who has the hunger to go above and beyond will clearly mark the end for this specific pizza hut. Most of the times it has nothing to do with good food but everything to do With exceptional service. So many terrible reviews, the owner to the manager should be ashamed that they haven't turned anything around. Worst dining experience I've ever had hands down. One of our orders which we reminded two different waitresses about was forgotten 3 times. We did not get our final item until 2 hours later. We felt bad for our waitress because they had her wait the entire place with a big party going on for the first hour we were there. She didn't know the menu items. We asked for garlic sauce and she said there was no such thing. Pizza Hut only had marinara sauce ‍. She quoted us one price and it ended up being $10 more. At that point we were so frustrated and over it, we just paid and left. I will never ever be returning even if it was my last resort. I know there are other well kept Pizza Huts in my area, but this particular one is filthy. Everything from the tables, the dusty lights hanging over the tables, the broken blinds, the sticky jars of garlic and cheese, the sticky dirty floors and the disgusting ladies room speaks volumes regarding who is or isn't in charge. My group of four came in after a movie to a deserted restaurant at 7pm on a Thursday. Since there were no customers, maybe they could haves cleaned the tables or vacuumed? We sat down and then left. I've ordered from this Pizza Hut many times and I am Overly disappointed with their service tonight. I called made my order and was on the phone with the order taker for about 7 minutes. I ordered a carry out deal. I head to the store to pick up and when I got their they tell me they don't have a order for me and that I never called. What the fuck kind of shit is that. This is beyond ridiculous. Is this how customers are being taken care of over at this Pizza Hut. I am definitely contacting corporate about this. This happened once before which I let go. We've only ever ordered online and picked up so that's what I'm going to be reviewing today. This pizza hut has been doing a great job making our orders and we order semi frequently (once or twice a month - that's a lot to me...). None of our orders have been wrong, maybe once or twice in a blue moon, but nothing major. They're fairly quick with their orders too, we live maybe 15 minutes away by car and I go out to pick up the pizzas right after making the online order and they're always done by the time I get there so that's an A+. read more

I was trying to place an order online, go thru the whole thing, then when went to pay, it told me I had to call the order in...what the hell? So, I called, "thanks for calling pizza hut, HOLD". Ok...get's back on the line, I tell her my order, she said "make sure youre here before 11pm, because that's when we close"...ok...no worries...I get there, the place is disgusting, can see the grease on the floors, trash all over, the bowls they had stuff in, behind the counter, looked old and nasty. The food here was okay, but the delivery driver was awful. He completely crushed the pizza box and when I brought it inside, the pizza was flattened. Aside from that, he was very awkward and my total came to 28$ and I gave him 40$ he just walked away with the money after I said could I have my change please? Whilst job searching, I stopped at this Pizza Hut. I went up to the counter, and 2 employees, along with an older woman not dressed in uniform looked at me with confusion, the set woman also with mild annoyance. I politely explained that I saw they were looking for a teen server, and that I was very interested in the job. The older woman said that I would have to apply online. When I asked for the manager's name and number, she gave me an irritated sigh and had me write it down. I applied online. That was 2 weeks ago. (I was bogged down with school work). I wish I could give a negative star rating. The worst pizza I have ever had in my life. Looked and tasted worse than someones DYI pizza made for the first time. Frozen pizza from Shoprite would be a better choice than this excuse for a pizza. Crust is so thin, you can see through, plus it's dry like a shoe. Paid for extra cheese one one pie - the layer didn't look any different from the second pie with regular cheese. Tasted horrible! They use old products, definitely not fresh. I have an impression that they pre-make the pies in advance and freeze them, then throw them in the oven or microwave - how else can they explain that the order was ready in 15 minutes and it tasted so dry and old?
