The only thing they got right about this order was the cheese sticks and the soda... and I'm a little surprised. We called to tell them that both pizzas were wrong so we needed them to bring us the correct orders. They come back and say they figured it all out and it's gonna take 40 minutes to deliver.... Why was I on hold for 8 minutes?! Seriously can't believe that they made it so difficult to have them fix their mistake and offer me a CREDIT not even a full credit a Partial Credit. Yeah. Not a happy camper. I am a pizza snob, but I had family in town and they all wanted Pizza Hut "pan" pizza so I had to deliver (figuratively). I had never been to this location, I just happened to be in the area on a Sunday night. This is not a dine in location, rather a pickup / carry-out / delivery location. When I arrived, the immediate area inside appeared tidy and well-kept. The young lady at the register was an absolute ray of sunshine. She was professional, personable, attentive, and she kept me in the loop with regard to the timing of my order. As I stood there, another gal from the kitchen also came out to check on me to see if I had been assisted. They were so helpful and clearly took pride in their roles. 5 stars for staff! For the pizza I am going to give 3 stars. I typically don't expect the world from pizza chains. The pizza was ok. Pretty flavorless and could have used more cheese. It was a short encounter but I opened the front door to a beautiful smile attached to a handsome, friendly face and the MOST pleasant of personalities. Normally, their pizza is pretty good. However, customer service at this location is flaky and inconsistent - sometimes alright but, all to often, slow and inattentive. Called tonight to order pizza delivery. Put on hold for 4 minutes listening to the "all of our team members are assisting other customers and we'll be with you shortly" muzak. No problem there - I kind of expect some wait time on a Friday evening. After the 4 minutes, a guy answers saying "thank you for calling Pizza Hut. How may I help you?". I respond, "I'd like to order for delivery, please". He says "Hold on one moment." (no "please", just "hold") and places me on hold. Really? If you weren't ready to take an order, why the hell didn't you just leave me on the hold advertising schpiel until you were ready? Being a Friday night, I figured that maybe they were just slammed and when the guy said a "moment" he didn't think it would be very long. After 4 more minutes of hold time (with no audible cue that I was still connected), I gave up and called Domino's. Domino's picked up on the second ring, took my order, and 20 minutes later, the pizza arrived. If I had stuck with Pizza Hut, I'd probably still be on hold. This is the closest Pizza Hut to my house. Unfortunately, they do not deliver to Valley Center so I have to come and pick it up here. They are located off Valley Parkway. The one thing I don't like about the location is that the entrance into the parking log is very steep and makes me scratch the bottom of my car when I go there if I don't go really slow over the ramp. The pizza is here is good. I like the deep dish pizzas here. They have a new thing where you can add toppings to the crust for free and also drizzle a sauce over the pizza to add flavor. I never used the sauce but I like getting the free toppings for the crust. The Hut Favorite crust topping is my favorite so far. It's like combining the breadsticks to the pizza for a two in one! There are a lot of different options to choose from and it's free! I'd probably like this place more if I didn't have to drive out here just to pick up my pizza. They don't provide plates anymore as well, which is a bummer. But I always remember to ask for parmesan and crushed peppers each time I come here. Unless they make a Pizza Hut closer to where I live or start delivering to my area, this is the place I'll have to come pick up my Pizza Hut whenever I crave it. read more

But... when my attempts to get things corrected this time, after my third order that was screwed up were met with such a bad response I have no other recourse really. Let me lay out my experiences.. Three orders ago, the simplest of issues, I arrived for my order (it had been 30 minutes) and I ended up waiting another 20 minutes before I got out of the car and went back into the store only to be told "sorry we forgot". This was after I had initially gone in and been told they would bring it right out to me. Two orders ago, I arrived promptly and went in to get my order. It had been 20 minutes which was after I was told it would be ready. They apologized to me that they had lots of orders and it would be ready shortly. Again, they informed me that they would bring it right out. 40 minutes went by and I called and asked what was going on. "We messed up the order and had to put another pizza in. We will bring it out in just a few they are cutting it now" Then there was this last order... the culmination of issues. I ordered 12 wings, 2 pizzas, and breadsticks. I arrived and my order came out on time but I didn't look inside the boxes, so when I got home and counted my wings there were not 12. Then I bit into my fist pizza, it had the wrong sauce. I opened the second pizza, it had the wrong toppings. I took a deep breath and called to inform them that they messed up. When they answered, I politely aired my grievances but the ill-mannered employee continued. First, he said they had no order there of mine and was I sure I had the right store... I did. He then argued that I did not order from them what my order was... I tried to give him my order number he argued... that's not the order number. Obvious to me that this child was not going to help he asked me to hold whole he got the manager. Excellent, I thought.. but when he returned he said "can you call back in fifteen minutes?" I replied, "can you have him call me back?" He sighed and confirmed my number. It has been three hours and I have received no call. I am certain that I won't. The service at this place is atrocious.
