This is the raw boneless bbq chicken that I received.

Tonight I received the worst food ever from a fast food restaurant. Half of my order wasn't available after I ordered and paid for it. I was told that they ran out of dough. I'm sorry but you're a pizza joint how do you run out of dough? Then I got home to find that the boneless wings I ordered were completely raw and cold. Tried to call this store multiple times to make them aware of the issue and no one would pick up the phone. I had to call the call center to speak with a customer service manager to tell them about the issue and all I got was excuses saying that the oven must not be working. How do you take a pan out of an oven and not notice that pan isn't hot and the food isn't steaming? She also said she would call me right back after contacting the manager of the store but I never heard back from her. These employees are going to end up killing someone by serving them raw chicken. But I guess when most of your employees are walking around high as a kite you can't expect much from them.

We got the Bianca and one of the salami pies and both were excellent. The Bianca is the sleeper pick. No sauce, just fior di latte and big spoonfuls of ricotta with crisped basil and olive oil. Rich without being heavy, and the ricotta stays cool and creamy against the hot cheese. The salami pie was the opposite energy -- wide, spicy slices that render right into the sauce. Crust on both had that leopard-spotted char and real chew. The space is half the appeal. Old mill building with exposed brick, wood ceilings, long communal picnic tables, Italian flags, and a powder-blue Vespa parked by the door. You order at the counter, grab a seat, and they call you up. Casual and loud in a good way -- great for a group. Fair warning: no half-toppings, no substitutions, and everything comes well done. Lean into it. Also worth noting they'll sell you a frozen 12-inch to take home.

Don't dress up for this casual place, they serve wine in little juice glasses. Just like my Italian relatives did. The pizza itself was as close to NYC pizza, but it does miss the boat with the distribution of ingredients. We ordered the Livorno pizza. Each slice was a venture, some had sauce, some didn't. You may or may not get sausage. One slice had the golden ticket, sauce, sausage, cheese and basil! The crust was delicious, just like the pizza I ate 5 days ago in NYC. The sauce wasn't as good in comparison, but it was still very good. We may be back again.

You can tell everything here is made from scratch -- the crust had that perfect balance of crisp and chew, the sauce tasted freshly made, and the toppings were bursting with flavor. I also tried their Caesar salad, and it was so fresh and crisp -- the lettuce was perfectly chilled, the dressing was creamy and flavorful without being too heavy, and the croutons tied it all together. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even surprised us with an order of garlic knotz (which were out of this world) and a free dessert, which definitely satisfied my sweet tooth! From start to finish, everything about our visit felt warm and genuine. We'll definitely be back -- Slices by Tony is the real deal when it comes to great food and great service!

Everything that we saw come out looked delicious. We went with an 18" half pep half cheese pie and a slice of their white pizza to try it out. Thin and crispy crust, delicious marinara and sauce, perfect cheese pull. A very well made NY style pizza from top to bottom. What sets this place apart is Mario and Rosa. They are great! Mario greets everyone that walks in with a loud hello from behind the kitchen. He's also singing away Italian tunes as he's slinging pies left and right. Rosa, the marinara queen (definitely try her marinara it's amazing), comes to every table and makes sure everyone is doing well. She even brought a free app for us to try, the fried ravioli with her homemade marinara. Outstanding. Thank you for a great Italian and NY style pizza experience. Can't wait to go back and listen to Mario's singing while we eat their tasty food again.

The vibe here reminds me of "Cheers," where everyone knows your name. The restaurant is in a 1950s renovated service station and was transformed into a neighborhood bar. I like the large glass windows and copper ceiling tiles in the dining area. There is a bar next to the dining area, and some outdoor seating, too. They even have a parking lot in the front and another in the back of the restaurant. You seat yourself, and someone will bring you a menu. Since I discovered this hidden gem a few years ago, when all the other restaurants were closed around New Year's Eve except for Corner Slice and Fisher's Grill, I make a point of returning again and again, as I just love it here. It is usually my first stop in town, and I look forward to my large margherita pizza with balsamic glaze. I'm not sure why I look at the menu, as I always order the same thing. But I am still given time to look over the menu, just in case. The pizza has a thin, crispy crust that was so good I managed to eat all but two slices! I highly recommend adding the glaze; it really makes the flavors pop. A lot of the specialty pizzas are named after neighborhood streets. The Elm, Bessemer, Hendrix, Leftwich, Isabel, and Magnolia. The Park and Fishers Finest are named after the area. The neighborhood bar has 14 rotating beer taps. There is a large selection of appetizers, including wings, grilled cheese, chicken tenders and some dips. If you aren't in the mood for pizza, they have a good variety of salads and subs. Service is top-notch here, and the staff is so welcoming and attentive. The prices are reasonable, too. I like that they brought out a plate and silverware with the pizza tray. I am already looking forward to my next margherita pizza. If I lived closer, I'd be eating here every week!

I would go back but maybe on a different night to see what the service was like on another day. Overall, it was an OK experience.

The food menu offers a solid variety as well, including appetizers, salads, meatballs, pasta, and of course their wood fired pizzas. The brick oven is huge and puts out some serious heat! I went with the Rustica on this visit. Prosciutto, mushrooms, roasted garlic cloves, artichoke hearts, and kalamata olives. Everything was portioned well and the flavors were great. The crust leaned just a tad bit dry and well done, but overall it was a very tasty pizza I'd happily order again. Brixx is a strong option for a quick lunch, happy hour with friends, or a relaxed outing with family. I'm glad I finally tried it and I could definitely see myself returning.
