Mario and Rosa...the husband and wife duo do it right! Authentic NY style pizzas, apps, pastas, subs, calzones, strombolis, you name it. Everything that we saw come out looked delicious. We went with an 18" half pep half cheese pie and a slice of their white pizza to try it out. Thin and crispy crust, delicious marinara and sauce, perfect cheese pull. A very well made NY style pizza from top to bottom. What sets this place apart is Mario and Rosa. They are great! Mario greets everyone that walks in with a loud hello from behind the kitchen. He's also singing away Italian tunes as he's slinging pies left and right. Rosa, the marinara queen (definitely try her marinara it's amazing), comes to every table and makes sure everyone is doing well. She even brought a free app for us to try, the fried ravioli with her homemade marinara. Outstanding. Thank you for a great Italian and NY style pizza experience. The owners are from NY and the service, ambience, and food are all top notch. Normally I get a plain slice. A bit hungry today hence the extra cheese. I had been wanting to try this place for the longest time, i usually just go down the road to what I know but decided let's do it lets change our routine and I'm so glad I did... was greeted by Ms Rosa so friendly so giving so courteous my family and I enjoyed the stuffed meat pizza, fried ravioli, and Baked ziti....plus dessert I could have cried eating the ziti it was like my mother and grandmother made it ....was sooo good it felt like home. I'm sure not sure if I was feeling the vibe at this establishment but maybe I was having an off day. Customer service was okay. There was a guy, not sure if he's the owner but he was singing the whole time so he seemed to be in good spirits. Their food is good, but not sure if I would go dine in again. The food was pretty good, sometimes when I go there there's not much sauce on the pizza, The wings were pretty good but they were dry. The Soda was a bit watered down. I've only had the Wings and pizza and haven't had the time to eat anything else. The service was pretty good and they were super nice, I talked to them before and they were friendly. The atmosphere was nice and cozy, we seated ourselves at the booths and the area is nice it's nice being able to look up at the window and see the cars. and overall I'd say the whole place is 4/5 stars read more

Been quite awhile since I've dropped in for a slice. So this was a quick lunch decision. I entered and was greeted with smiles & directed to place my order at the register on the side. The location was pretty active during my visit. I wanted a slice but was told the lunch special was $8.80 or so and included two slices and a drink. For the size of the slices, that seemed like a good deal to me. I decided on two slices of pepperoni. I paid and was given a cup for my fountain drink. The options were few but they had the regular, tea, lemonade and soft drink selections. I chose pink lemonade. I was able to wait for my pizza near the entrance in their seating area. It took a few minutes to get my order due to the busy lunch rush but it was not a bother. I only ate one slice as it became a bit much with the oil and the cheese had an interesting taste to me. They have a wonderful vibe about the place and what appears appeared to be quite a few returning customers., I'm not sure if the pizza is my favorite though. read more

We ordered 2 strombolis and an order of fried ravioli. I have the photo of my order from toasttab showing all 3 items being ordered. When it was delivered there were only the strombolis in one big pizza box. I immediately called and spoke to Rosa and they said there was no fried ravioli ordered.I offered to send them the photo but they refused. Then they said we could come pick it up but we were unable to due to having disabled son and it's not very close. I saw this restaurant recomm on tik tok and had ordered once before but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and probably won't order again. read more

Some of the best sweet tea around! They have a lunch special so the 12" sub with fries and a drink cost me $13.87 on a Saturday. Well worth the cost and trip from Randleman!! So much food I always end up with enough for dinner. Their pizza is excellent - you can order by the slice or the whole pie. Rosa is excellent! She works front of house and takes your orders, delivers and always reminds you that she will clear the table when you are done. Nice and quiet on a Saturday. My husband was so excited to come home and tell me that there was a place serving New York style pizza in Greensboro that was 100% New Yorker approved! He brought the food home to go, but the next time we went to pick up our food I was pleasantly met with a New York subway. The ambience in this place is a 10 out of 10. If you like NY style then this is pretty much the best I've found in Greensboro. I realize that's subjective and people are welcome to have another opinion but for me, this is NY style pizza in Greensboro. For lunch you can get two slices quick or a variety of other specials. Alternatively they have a pretty big menu and turn out most everything quickly. They have limited alcohol selections but they have the basic beers on tap. Exhausted but in great spirits from a day well spent, throwing the largest party I've ever thrown for our Yelp Elite Communities in the Triad and Triangle. Though we always have food in abundance at our Yelp events, it's rare us as Community Managers eat much of it while they happen! My wife, who was also a total champion and my queen on the day (and everyday) had gone home already and sent me a text with one simple demand. "Bring me cheese and carbs." Yes dear. I too was in need of those things, and needed it as convenient as possible even while most places had closed for the evening. Enter Times Square Pizzeria, conveniently situated right off of I-85 on my way home. They close at 10pm on Saturday, and that gave me 45 minutes of clearance. I stopped in looking rough, but the person at the counter was in great spirits. Eager to help, show me the menu, answer questions. His friendliness was pervasive. I decided to take him up on is 18" pizza special, half pepperoni and mushrooms for me, half pepperoni and green peppers for milady. 15 minutes later a hot and fresh pizza straight from the oven emerged boxed up and ready to go. Again, given in such a friendly manner by one of the chef's in the back. Got home to eat it, and I must say, toppings were given in abundance! This is my biggest factor in a pizza, followed by sauce flavor and done-ness. Cheese was still melty, and very stretchy. Not a cheap mozzarella clearly. This gets my nod of approval! The sauce was a little sweeter than I like, but the pie was perfectly done. Each slice easily folded and consumed (and the last one on my half this very morning). Was it the best pizza I ever had? No, but I would definitely return. I 100% appreciate a place that is service with a smile until the moment they close, and is eager to please. You can tell these folks care about their business, and their business cared for me at a moment I needed a pizza with utmost importance. I'll be back TSP! read more
