I nursed a glass of water for thirty minutes while listening to a pop music playlist. (I was surprised at this choice, but I don't know that Neapolitan music would fit with this region!) I finally ordered the calamari appetizer - a plateful of fresh-fried rings and things served with a good portion of steaming hot chunky marinara sauce. The breading was light, and I couldn't get enough of the sauce!! It was amazing!! After another 45 minutes of considering the lunch specials, I decided to just get the tiramisu and call it a day. The dessert arrived nicely presented on a porcelain plate dusted with powered sugar. The lady fingers were soaked properly, and may have been house-made. I know the rest of it was. Amazing melding of flavors!! I'll even forgive them not dusting it with the traditional cocoa powder. I might stop back here just for dessert sometime! It's worth the trip.
