The service sucks ass. You go in and they tell you to sit anywhere (that's great and all) then after 30min they come up to you and say "we'll be right with you". I get the whole restaurant vibe is one thing but customer service is definitely lacking. If you want the restaurant vibe with shit service you can go just about anywhere. Went for a nostalgic stop at this "classic" version of Pizza Hut. Buffet was supposed to be ready at 11:30. They finally brought out 3 pizzas for 20+ people waiting and it disappeared in 30 seconds. Drove from Houston to experience the nostalgia from my 90s childhood and well worth the 25 min drive! This classic Pizza Hut is well worth the $10 lunch buffet. Went on a Friday during lunch hour and not an open seat in the entire restaurant. They were busy! Staff was friendly, and gave excellent service all with a smile on their face. The decor and environment is just like the 90s from what I remember. Pizza buffet, wooden booths, tables with the red and white checkered table cloths and you can't forget the retro stained glass Pizza Hut lamps over the tables. Classic 80s music playing on the radio too! For the $10 lunch buffet you get the all you can eat pizza buffet which includes a variety of pizzas you can enjoy (there's also two pasta dishes, breadsticks, cinnamon sticks and marinara sauce) , a small house salad (very basic with iceberg lettuce, croutons, shredded cheese, tomato's) and a fountain drink in the classic red plastic cups. Servers are great, and the Classic Pizza Hut look is nostalgic, but the buffet availability has declined since the new concept. Twice now we have gone for lunch - between 12 and 1, and the there is little to no pizza on the buffet. Often it is crowded, so one pizza comes out at a time, and is quickly gone. Unfortunately, the kitchen doesn't seem to be able to keep up with the popularity. read more

Drove from Houston to check this place out obviously for the retro factor! In a world of depressing tasteless design, this place did the exact opposite by going back. And it worked for me. A sit down Pizza Hut is something of the past and is great to see the original hut style building in bright red. The large plastic red cups, the red and white checkered tables cloths, wooden booth backs and the hanging stainless lamps were awesome. They even had classic rock and 80s playing on the loudspeakers and apparently are getting a juke box soon! They have a small bar, which honestly I would remove and put some classic arcade games there instead. That screams Pizza Hut more than a bar but hey, hats off to this place for even doing this! The food. I came for the lunch buffet. Weekdays from 1130-130. The place got packed very quick and I can understand why. Adults are $10 and kids are $5. For an all u can eat buffet with everything. Pizza, pasta, breadsticks, cinnamon sticks and salad!!! So the price is obviously retro pricing too!! Can't beat that. The salad is simple! Iceberg lettuce, sliced tomatoes, croutons and cheese with a few choices of packaged dressing. Sure I picked out a few wilting leaves but again, Pizza Hut is the ONLY pizza place with a salad. A retro salad bar would be even cooler!! But they had about 8 varieties of pizzas out and kept em coming. The food got eaten up and got replaced constantly. The dish pizza and breadsticks were right out of the 80/90s. It was quite a trip going back to those days with the food, decor and even the BOOK IT poster on the wall next to me. The wait staff was nice. They were busy! Because they take your drink order and bring u drinks and utensils and salads. I'd like to thank the owner for doing this. For going against the corporate norm and bringing this throwback to the people. The 80s and 90s were an describable time compared to the dark world we live in today. I stopped here from moving, oh my god. So so so fresh. The food takes a while, not gonna lie. BUT IT IS WORTH IT. The pasta came out the oven, really good portion size- super good. This shocked me because I thought it would look like school food. The meat lovers was delusions and the Pepperoni lover thin crust was equally as great. We even got the wings (6 of us). The Buffalo mild is spicy, lemon pepper were okay. They ran out of personal size pizzas and the manager improvised and gave us a large half and half and even a discount for the wait. The corporate official of Pizza Hut - Jay Cox once personally attempted to restore this location, the location has down spiraled since he has left. Don't order on Sunday's! I placed my order at 10am to be delivered at 5pm, it was 5:45 and nothing!!! I called asked for the manager 3 times I was placed on hold for over 10 minutes until finally I got an answer, I was told they don't deliver on Sunday's by an employee then the manager said the delivery driver was late and my order fell behind, how is this possible when I ordered 7 hours ahead of time? Ordered on line. Order was suppose to be ready at 4:40 when I arrived at 4:40 kitchen had never received my order. It's 5:00 and I'm still waiting. So pizzas are ready at 5:04 but missing the cheese sticks. Another 6 minutes, I just cancelled the cheese sticks.
