First time eating at this restaurant and sadly disappointed. Ordered the belly buster pizza and Greek salad. The Greek salad was really good, just wish they gave you a little more salad dressing for $8. The dressing kind of tasted like Cesar dressing not Greek dressing, but it was still tasty. The pizza crust and cheese had good flavor but the topping were a mess!!! You had pieces with only pepperoni and cheese, very thrown together. It had too much sauce which made the crust soggy. You would pick up a piece and all the topping just fell off. As soon as I got the text that it was ready for pick up, I was pulling in the parking lot. The pizza was not hot upon arrival and by the time I got home (5 min away) it was cold. I will likely go back for the Greek salad, but not sure I will be ordering pizza. This is some of the best pizza to be had in 30 miles. Some have said the best in Austin and Washington countries. Starts with the Mozzarella Sticks that are house-made to order, unless they get busy, then they have a stash in the fridge to shorten the wait. The salad is super fresh and not out of a sack. The vinegarette is homemade and ask for 2 if you like more dressing. The Pizza! I have lived in NYC and they are crushing the Big Apple. You can do it by the slice if you want a variety, but the whole one is a treat. The dough is made in the store daily, and the vegetables are hand-chopped. Don't believe me - go when it is slow and watch it happen through the kitchen window! The garlic knots are also a fun treat to enjoy with salad. If you have a question make sure you ask because the guys behind the counter own the joint and are happy to answer them. We had passed by this place a few times on 36 so we stopped by & we weren't disappointed. The gentleman at the counter was patient while we looked over the menu. We had a sandwich, pizza, with wings. Good food! Had the fried cod fish, fries, and hush puppies. Wife had grilled cod fish and shrimp, fries. Prices are reasonable, except they don't offer tap water to drink. Clean furniture and tables. Floors could be cleaner under tables. Ambiance is good, but during football season, games need to be on TVs. That is probably true for baseball/basketball as well. Recommend that owner/manager always keep a car parked in front of restaurant. That will help flow- at least it did in the restaurant I used to work at. read more
