We use this place a couple times a month at least and there have been lots of mistakes lately, and I've tried to be understanding. Tonight I called to check on an order that was pretty late and they said no one had picked from door dash yet. I told her I want to cancel the order because it's just sitting there for an hour and not being delivered. The manager lady had a bad attitude and said it's not her fault that the third party hasn't come yet. I didn't say this to her but, Newsflash, if the business uses a third party then it's still the businesses responsibility if the order doesn't work out. I went through the business, not the third party. I tried to respectfully say I won't be supporting businesses anymore that use these unreliable third parties and hope they return to their own drivers but she hung up on me mid-sentence. Don't be disrespectful to customers who are being respectful and spending money with you. I won't be spending money here in the future because of this. The manager was working 5/17/2026 and I called around 5:20pm - she is the reason I won't spend money here anymore. read more

called for a partial refund because my order was wrong, manager offered a new pizza instead but we had a lot of pizza in the order so i didn't want more food, asked for a refund again and he said "okay you'll get a partial refund. thanks for the trouble" if you don't like the duties of your job dude just get a new one, don't take it out on the customer because your staff made mistakes. read more

Bearing in mind this is Pizza Hut and not some top-notch pizzeria, I must say it's A-OK. The location is convenient-ish. A little tricky to find in the evening since there's limited lighting but parking isn't too bad if you're the type who prefers to save money and nix delivery. Out of all the many, many pizzas we've ordered, only 1 was made incorrectly but it was something minor like mixing up the crust flavor. Other than that, it's perfection every time. And I must give them kudos for the perfect pizzas since my husband and I can get pretty intricate with the sauces, crust flavor, toppings, etc. Regarding service, they seem to have a well-thought out system. I've never had to wait more than 5mins for someone to bring out my pizzas, and each person I've interacted with was friendly. I do wish the employees inside would wear masks while making and handling food but hey, maybe they were lucky and got vaccinated already so it's not necessary. This place has horrible customer service , and I will not be returning. I have tried this location before and each time the service abs food gets worse. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND POOR QUALITY OF FOOD!!! If I could give this location NO STARS I would. Today I ordered some cheese sticks. They were dark brown on top as if they were overcooked. In fact the cheese was very brown and looked almost burnt. When I asked the young lady why the cheese sticks were so brown she paused and then said "ummm well it's just how it comes out of the oven" while looking over at her other coworkers as if she was pleading for their assistance in finding an excuse. I have ordered cheese sticks a dozen times from many Pizza Hut locations, they are NOT supposed to be that dark. So I asked for them to be remade. The entire time i was very polite and respectful to her. She agreed, turned around to her coworker, made a face and rolled her eyes. She obviously didn't think I could get her. The guy who made the cheese sticks also made a disapproving face as he shook his head. I thought about it for a minute and then decided to request a refund. I picked up food from another restaurant instead of dealing with employees with horrible attitudes and subpar food. Bottom line...the food was not prepared correctly. And I'm pretty sure those employees would not want to go to another restaurant, have someone overcook their food, lie to them about why it looked that way and then give annoyed looks because they wanted the food to be prepared the correct way. That is all I was asking...to have the food prepared correctly. I live less than five minutes from this location. I will NEVER order pizza from this location again!!! I will use the Anna location or I will order pizza from a local pizzeria. read more

This place is always behind, and the tracker is never accurate. You can usually add on 5-15 minutes extra to what the tracker says.

We like this spot! We get pizza here all the time. The customer service is always nice and the pizza is good.

I am so frustrated with this Pizza Hut. I left work early for a fun family movie night and got on my Pizza Hut app as soon as I got in the car in Plano to order pizzas, wings and more. I saw Pizza Hut offered a deal where you could get a free desert if you utilized "visa checkout". Great! I already have a visa checkout sign in and the chocolate chip pie is our favorite! By the time I got to Melissa (from Plano), my order still had not been placed. I had ordered my food on the app but the Visa Checkout kept freezing, forcing me to redo my entire order. I redid my order 4 times- including resigning in and checking my email for the security code after 3 successful sign ins/freezes! I was furious. This was supposed to be a breeze. I have an Iphone 8, it never freezes- I know it wasn't due to my phone. There is no reason why this should take so long to do and be so completely inefficient. I decided I would wait until I got home and order my food on Pizzahut.com and since I missed placing my order in time to pick pizza up while I was in Melissa (we live 20 mins past Melissa), I would place the order for my husband to pick up. When my husband texted to say he was leaving work in Allen, I said "great, I will go place our pizza hut order for you to pick up on your way home". I got on our Apple Macbook Pro and redid our entire order. THEN, The VISA CHECKOUT would not accept my new card I entered in as my "preferred" card!!! When I went to the pizza hut check out page, it kept reverting back to the old card I had used in the past. I redid my order several more times, re-signed into Visa Checkout everytime and even DELETED my old cards off the account so they should not have even been an option to use. After all of that, Pizzahut.com is STILL using my old card, the one I have deleted. I get that all of this is for a free dessert, but it's the principal of it. My husband, who had traveled from Allen to Melissa and was standing inside pizza hut, said "just order our food and I'll ask if we can get the free desert as we've tried since 3:45PM today to do this". But of course, Pizza Hut Melissa (employee named Ben to be exact) didn't care, and did not allow us the desert. For wanting to have a wonderful family night, my patience is gone. Why does Pizza Hut offer this but not stand behind their offer when it backfires? It is 6:36PM. I BEGAN attempting to place this order at 3:45PM. I understand there are "glitches", but I expected more from the customer service at Pizza Hut. Sincerely, a very disappointed customer. read more

I have been getting Pizza here for about 6 months. Always friendly service. I always pick up. I live in Trinity Falls and this place is the easiest to get a pizza. I only had one pizza be made wrong out off the times I have order. 10+ Not a big deal. Partly my fault. I just only open the box a little at the store and saw pepperoni. Assume it was right. Tonight I did an online order for carry out at this Pizza Hut. The website told me that my order would be ready at 6:10pm, and that's when I arrived. When I got there, the girl behind the counter, Dixie (?), said that my pizza would ready in 5 minutes. I was fine with that, the time the website gives is always an approximation. I did not leaving the building with my pizza until 6:45pm, a whole half hour later. I sat and waited and watched them make pizzas and leave the phone ringing for 30 minutes. It wasn't until around 6:30 that they realized I still didn't have my pizza and came to the conclusion that they never made the pizza in the first place. The whole situation was very frustrating and unpleasant to watch as they conducted their business. I usually do not have these problems with this establishment, but this was just unexceptional. And I was not the only person facing this fate, there were other customers there that we waiting unnecessarily long periods of time for their food. Very disappointing. read more

Very poor customer service. Arturo messed up on my carry-out order and when called he responded with "Come get another one." No sorry, can I fix the problem, like refund your money or have a free soda. Then when asked to get a corporate number, he gave me 469-888-4587 and it rang for 10 min. Ordered Pizza Hut for the first time at the Melissa location. Worst experience ever!!! Placed order online for delivery. Then followed up with a call and was told an hour wait time. That seemed reasonable considering it was new year's eve. Two hours later called again and was told that it was being prepared and should be out for delivery in about 15 minutes. We received a text message indicating that it was out for delivery -- it was 2 1/2 hours since the order had been placed. After three hours I called again and the location was closed but answered the phone only to tell me that my order was actually cancelled 3 minutes after the text message was received which again stated that the order was out for delivery. I was told that a manager cancelled my order, which was news to me. The person was rude an hung up after he finished talking eventhough I was still talking. I called back and spoke with someone who identified himself as a manager and basically said sorry lady it wasn't me but the other manager who left already. He furthered told me that the location was closed and I'll get a refund. Note to restaurants who deliver, if you do not have the bandwidth to properly service customers during holiday's, stop taking orders. Pizza Hut Melissa you have certainly lost a customer. read more
