I used to say I've never gotten a bad pizza from Pizza Hut but this day killed my faith in Pizza Hut. I will never order from Pizza Hut again first of all you can't talk to the store you're talking to a call center second of all the guy I never saw him show up at the RV Park we were sitting outside. He called me. I did have a missed call, but my phone never rang. I called the delivery guy to let him know I was outside waiting and he told me it was too late. He had moved onto another delivery and I needed to call the store. Well, you can't call the store all you get arecall centers. It was the biggest runaround. As soon as you walk in the door you are immediately greeted by a smiling person at the counter. The employees are all very welcoming and they are very quick to get you seated and served. The pizza here is phenomenal, and I've never had an issue whether I'm dining in, carrying out, or even delivery. They are fast and super efficient. The restrooms are also very clean. Three of us went here for dinner tonight. When the waitress came to take our food order, we ordered 5 things. Eventually she brought 3 of those items to us. We asked where the rest of our food was, and she looked at us like we didn't know what we were talking about. She hadn't put in the rest of our order. We had to wait, again, for our last side and entree. Turns out, the waitress was wearing an Air Pod, so she probably didn't hear part of our order. We placed our order with the server and 20 mins later she brought out half our order when we asked where the rest was she looked at us like we were stupid and said what else did you order we then told her and she said oh I didn't put that in we then asked her if she could she said yeah and walked away all while wearing AirPods which is why she probably didn't get the order right the first time then about 20 mins later brought the rest out the manager didn't seem at all concerned about the issue but took off a personal pan for our troubles. Very disappointed in Pizza Hut here in Portland, Tx. I ordered a large pan pizza almost 2 hrs before I was scheduled to pick it up. I got there and they were understaffed I immediately noticed. When I finally got to the counter the lady gave me my pizzas so I checked them and my pan pizza looked kinda like a hand tossed pizza. So I let her know and she agreed it looked like a hand tossed and took it back to the cook and he told her it was a pan so I told him it was not and he continued to tell me it was and sometimes they are thin and sometimes they are thick. This is not the first time this has happened, I usually get it delivered and have never complained. So if I am wrong I am wrong but I have been eating pan pizzas on and off since I was a kid.... read more

We ate here two nights in a row. Pizza sounded good, y'all! Friday night and Saturday night the same two employees/waitresses were working. The first night our service was good other than the fact that part of our order - the appetizer - never made it out before the pizza was brought to the table. I cancelled the appetizer at that point. Strangely enough, this exact scenario played out at the Decatur location multiple times a few years back. Maybe it was a fluke....or maybe Pizza Hut employees don't quite grasp the concept of an appetizer. And yes, I specifically remember ordering with, "Water, please. And we'd like to start with breadsticks." Pizza was good. Saturday night, our second visit, went better as far as ordering - just barely! Our appetizer came out slightly before the pizza did. K. Pizza was alright. So here's the thing. Our waitress, after taking our order, brought a couple of pizzas and another item to the booth behind us where a guy was sitting. She then stood and talked to him for a good five minutes. After that, for the rest of the time we were there, she spent more time sitting with him, eating and talking, than she did working. Maybe she was on her break? I don't know. She got up several times to run to the register to check customers out before returning to her guest and meal each time. I even felt like I was inconveniencing HER when she got up to check on us...then sat back down. So strange! And completely inappropriate! It just looks so bad. Pizza Hut should be ashamed to have their name on this place. The service is far beyond terrible. Placed an order yesterday for a large pizza with a order of plan wings. You would thing that's a basic order that could be completed in 20 to 25 minutes seeing that at that time there was only 8 dining room patrons there at that time. Here is the timeline to get my order. 6:40 order placed. Was told it would take 25 minutes. 7:05 was told that my order would take another 25 minutes. 7:30 was told another 15 to 25 minutes 7:45 was told my order was ready. No wings. Told to wait 15 more minutes. 8:00 order was complete we thought. It took 2 minutes to get home and surprise surprise the pizza was cold due to being left on the counter for 15 minutes while they heated the wings.While all of this was taking place costumers that used the dining room where taken care of quickly while the take out costumers where made to wait. I ordered 2 Supremo P'zones. I could not order just one because it had to cost a certain amount to have it delivered. The delivery arrived and it was two sub sandwiches with peperoni, lettuce and tomato. Not a P'zone. Very disappointed but was hungry and ate it anyway. read more

While enjoying a nice getaway to Corpus my fiancée developed a craving for a stuffed crust pizza after seeing a commercial for it from Pizza Hut. Last night we placed an order for delivery and we were not disappointed. Our double pepperoni and black olive stuffed crust was delivered to our hotel room in a timely manner. The pizza was steaming hot. My fiancée couldn't stop commenting how good it was. My expectations were low because of our Pizza Hut back home but this particular Pizza Hut has made me a fan again. They don't have homemade ranch anymore. It's now the gross sour tasting ranch in the little dipping sauce containers. GROSS.

I used to go to this Pizza Hut all the time and order a carry out and get the 10$ dinner box that comes with cinnamon and bread sticks along with it, it was pretty good but ever since they had their place remodeled there food wasn't the same as it was before, the pizza is alright, the cinnamon and bread sticks are not good anymore, and the icing cup that comes with the cinnamon sticks is awful. There was a time that I was in corpus heading back to Portland and I order a carry out of the 10$ dinner box and the lady said it will be ready in 15 mins and I was like "Ok, Perfect by the time I get to Portland it will be ready to go." So when I arrived to their Pizza Hut in Portland I walk in and told them that I'm here to pick up an order by my name. And so I pay my order and the person went to go get my order and came back and said "well, apparently we didn't make the pizza at all." So I have to wait another 15 mins to get my order. But they give me a store credit so next time I order that pizza they give it to me for free. read more

I ordered a large pizza 4 drinks a cookie and 2 sandwiches. 1 by 58 minutes later I got 3 drinks a burnt pizza, at least toppings were correct, 2 different sandwiches than I had originally ordered and a brownie that wasn't even sliced. The service was very slow, but with only one young lady there to serve the 8 to 10 tables, you can't expect much better. The wings were good, but the salad was disappointing, which was surprising since its the easiest thing to prepare. This Pizza Hutt was one of the best ones I have come too. I had many negative experiences with other Pizza Hutt locations but the experience here is outstanding. The waitress was very friendly and offered a free dessert if participate in an online survey. I gladly took the survey and within a 10 minutes my pizza arrived. This was very fast service and the waitress kept refilling my drink. Soon afterwards the dessert came out. I just want to say I wish other Pizza Hutts followed suit. Outstanding customer service and the food was actually delicious here. I highly recommend this Pizza Hutt to others who live or visit Portland, TX! read more

We have ordered by delivery and at the restaurant as well. Pizza was delivered cold the last four times. When going to the location they make mistakes. There is no accountability for poor service, quality of product, and assisting customers that are not satisfied. The complaints through the call station are not taken seriously. My suggestion..... RUN to Pizza Hut in Aransas Pass or order at Papa John's. Always HOT, timely, and will fix any problems promptly. Even Domino's and Little Caesar's try harder for your business. Had a horrible experience a month ago in Aransas and went to the one in Portland today for the buffet and had to wait 15 minutes before there was pizza out.....this mind you is at 1pm!!! This place is a joke I ordered over the phone one night for dinner and when I showed up at the time to pick up my one pizza it still wasn't ready the manager said not till another 30 mins and he offered a free drink and I didn't take it just wanted my pizza then 30 mins turned into an hour then three families came up and said how much longer for our pizzas and they said it's been over an hour and turned out they have been there before I even called for my order so pretty sure I would have to wait even longer now so I just left it was horrible read more

I just need to update this because they have recently hired a couple of awesome employees and that small change has turned the service around completely. I can now, honestly, recommend this Pizza Hut as a nice place to eat. Managers: Hold on to these employees you've recently hired! Below is my old one-star review for reference: I don't know what's up with this place, but several months after my first poor review of this place, I've decided to give them another chance and they've only gotten worse. Twenty minutes and counting and I still haven't even been acknowledged so I can place an order and it appears they only have one waiter. How do they even stay open with service like this? HORRIBLE. I will never go here again. We ordered two medium pizzas and a cookie and decided to do carry out. We were told it would be ready in fifteen minutes. We got there about twenty minutes later and were told it wasn't ready yet. We figured it had to be close so we just were waiting. More and more people kept coming in and the samething was happening. Or they said it would be awhile then be handed it almost immediately. A guy who got there after us the manager talked to him and got his order out. The guy said they have been here longer than me and the manager didn't even talk to us. After we complained and showed or receipt to show our order time he went back there and told them to make ours next. We ordered at 5:27 and did not receive our food until 6:52. People who are in had faster service because we watched them sit down, order, and start to eat before we received our food. There were at the very least 11 employees that we saw "working" there. This was absolutely terrible. Go to the store, but a frozen pizza, cook it and you'd be a thousand times happier. read more
