Freya (not sure how to spell that) delivered my pizza, and was So friendly! Made my day!

They are scamming people and I do not understand how they are still open. I place an order and a hour passes I have no food... I call and they tell me that my name in their system would not let them send me order out. My phone number is clearly displayed on the screen so why did it take for me to call and ask what was going on? I have a account on pizza hut & door dash and have never ever had a "issue" like this. What is even craizer is I ordered directly through the app! Even when I received my food it was completely wrong! Its going on hour two and the fact that this was a delivery order is ridiculous. I pay extra to still have to come just to get wrong food, and now have to wait another 20-30 minutes, & received and lazy excuses. It takes one phone call to let someone know something is wrong. No customer should have to call a whole hour later to check on their delivery order when it states the order will take 25-35 minutes. If I could give this place no stars I would. read more

Had an issue with my delivery. Long story. Pizza tasted great, as always. But I'm genuinely curious why Pizza Hut no longer cuts the pizza into slices. We used to order pizza from parks as a surprise for the kids. But if we want it cut into slices we have to order from a different pizza company. I understand times are hard, but when you're spending $50 on a small amount of pizza, is it too much to ask to just cut it a tiny bit? No one carries a spare pizza cutter in their pocket just in case. Ordered again. The pizza was dry and mostly crust. I would edit this review if someone made it right, but at this point I just no longer have an faith in Pizza Hut anymore to get it right, and the pizza is way too expensive to be so awful. read more

Worst customer service experience ever. The store attempted to deliver our order via Doordash. Supposedly, the order was delivered to us, as communicated by Doordash or the Pizza Hut app or both. However, the order was never delivered. We tried to contact the Doordash driver but he never responded by text or phone call. Then, we tried to contact the store, but when you call the store, you are actually calling a call center. The call center rep tried to transfer us to the store, but we ended up back at the call center about 4-5 times. Come to find out, the store's phone was either disconnected or "wasn't working." We finally got a Pizza Hut customer service rep (not from the actual store, another call center instead) to issue us a refund. Horrible customer experience, with no pizza to show for it. First let me say I love Pizza Hut pizza. I still buy it when I am out of town. This store is close to our house. The pizza was still not here after 2 hours and no one would answer the phone after multiple attempts. The store charged our credit card and never delivered the pizza. I went to the store the next afternoon and they gave me a credit but didn't credit the tip. I didn't put a tip on there. I tried to get the owners name. They wouldn't give it to me. I called the "Regional Manager" and left a message but never got a call back. I don't understand running a business this way. Do not buy from them. read more

When you Oder from the website there is a strong possibility this store will not honor the price you saw online. Check your total and call to verify. I was told that corporate places specials on the Pizza Hut web site. No apologies, no we'll try to give a discount to make the price match. I would give zero stars if I could. This location has gone completely downhill in the past year or so. We gave it another try this afternoon and ordered a large pizza for our kids and my husband. Waited an hour. It shows up looking like the photo I posted below. A full half of it is burnt to a crisp - completely inedible. I call the location to ask if they can deliver another pizza to us. No answer. I call 4 times and no one will pick up the phone. Finally, I have my husband take the pizza back to the location to ask for a refund or another pizza. (In the meantime, we give our kids 2 pieces of the partially non-burnt section, as they were hungry and waiting for lunch.) When my husband gets there, the employee is not only NOT apologetic, but will only refund a flat 10 dollars instead of the cost of the entire order (including tax, delivery fees and tip,) So, we're out 15 dollars and a wasted trip to the location for absolutely no reason. I contacted their corporate office and hope they will remedy the situation, but we will NEVER order again from here. I would advise everyone to go elsewhere. read more

So we decided to get pizza tonight and it was unfortunate. We walked in and there was a massive line and everyone was angry. We decided to wait. The employees were great explaining what happened, offering refunds and hustling around. I finally got to order and time frame was 30-45 minutes..we decided to wait. An hour went by and I got up and asked about our order. They forgot or missed it but either way it took longer. These poor kids aren't paid enough to manage all of that by themselves. They need a manager. Pizza was great and the kids had great customer service. Whoever owns the restaurant needs to figure something out. read more

Update: Corporate sent me a voucher for a free pizza that I could only redeem by calling in to the store. Only this store will take the voucher since they were the ones that messed up the original order. After ten minutes on hold, someone answered and hung up on me. After calling back and sitting on hold for 45-minutes I drove to the store to find 3 employees standing around eating pizza while my phone call continued to ring and no one made any attempt to answer it. This is the second time we had problems with Pizza Hut offt 377. Though we would give another chance. But, they screwed us again!!!! It's 12-31-2020, I ordered our food at 10:30am in the morning for delivery at 6:15pm. We received a alert at 5:55pm saying that our food was on its way. Cool I'm impressed. Till 6:15pm came and gone. We use to be very satisfied w/this location. But, last night's order was not up to it's normal par. We ordered from the "$5 line up" menu, & our total came to be more than $35. For four items. Until we were informed that the pan crust was more expensive. I feel like. If that is the case...that pan crust is more. Inform your customers before order is placed. I ordered breadsticks... no marinara. Called for marinara, was told they do not come with marinara so I had to specify that the website states that it does. Was put on hold for 5 minutes and a "manager" named John, annoyingly offered to deliver a "red sauce" and a complimentary drink. Great, cold breadsticks and a spit modified marinara sauce. So the crackhead I mean employee returns and as expected, the drink is nowhere and didn't even bother asking. Marinara went straight into the trash and so was my business for them. The reviews here on yelp are very generous about them. Amazes me how management/upper management does not see these 1 star reviews. Then again, you can't expect much from watauga. Whatever you do go to a different Pizza Hut than this one. I'd rather drive two extra miles than stop at this one again. Their customer service is terrible, the manager stands outside smoking, horrible environment. Ordered a curbside pickup that was supposed to be ready within 10 to 20 minutes. Got there 10 minutes after I ordered it, notified them I was there, set outside for an additional 20 minutes, and still no customer service at all. Not sure what's going on with management here but quality control has gone. Last two times we have ordered pizza, the pizza is burnt and dry with very little toppings. I took pictures of both. I even specified extra sauce and that was ignored. You be the judge of these pics. It seems like when Pizza Hut is good, it is very good but when it's bad....it's expensive dog food. I'd been coming here for pick up orders for a while now. I let one experience go where we ordered online around noon for a 7pm pickup. I showed up at 6:55pm and they didn't start my pizzas yet. I got out of here around 7:45pm because they were so busy. At least they gave me an order of wings as a goodwill gesture. They always seem to be out of crushed pepper and cheese when I pick up at 7pm. This time I ordered online and when I showed to pick up they said crushed pepper and Parmesan is now a $0.99 up charge. I'd rather they be out all the time than nickel and dime me. I won't be coming back and will try out other Pizza Huts near me to see if it's a new corporate policy. I choose to vote with my wallet. Service: 1/5 Counter help is lackluster. Sometimes they don't even acknowledge you for a very long time. Many who work there sound like they're high on something. Over all these are people I'd rather avoid. Food: 3/5 The pizza is ok. My kids like it. Ambiance/location: 1/5 There's no ambiance to speak of. Sometimes homeless people hang out at the corner, sometimes they even come inside when I'm waiting to pick up an order. Overall 1 star all the way. read more

Worst service I have EVER had in my life!! The guy answering the phone greeted me with, "this is pizza hut, you ready for excellent service?" as we get in to my info for delivery I had to repeat the name of my street literally 6 times even after SPELLING it every time. It got to the point to where I thought he was joking. Then they say they can't deliver to my house. (I am .8 miles away from the store.) after another 5 min of me explaining exactly where It is He finally got with the program and took my order. I ordered one with reg cheese stuffed crust pepperoni, and one easy cheese, pepperoni, And jalapeños... The cheese stuffed crust has barely any cheese and the other had extra cheese!!! Really!?!? Wow! This location has horrible reviews! I can only speak for myself (follow my lead America!) but I had a very good experience. I ordered online which was pretty easy and painless. I did my order for carry out and went in as soon as my order was due. They have a monitor up that lists all the carry out orders and there was my name and it listed that it was ready. A few seconds after I got in, someone greeted me and grabbed my order. They opened it to make sure it looked good and I was on my way, which was great because my order was fairly complicated. Super easy and the only worker I spoke with was very courteous. My pizza was delicious(ly terrible for me). All of this was on a Saturday night and couldn't have gone better. So why all the bad reviews? Maybe the service here has been so universally reviled that no one orders from here anymore so they are able to better serve the few customers they have. Or maybe this location used to be infiltrated by Payton Manning's network of Papa Johns Spies to sabotage it, but their cover got blown and they were eventually flushed and eliminated by Pizza Hut Jack Bauer. Who knows? The one thing we can all agree on is that it is probably the spy thing. read more

I always get delivery from this place and take out from beach street. My recent purchase i ordered at 10:18 and it didnt get there til' 11:40, i was already asleep. The driver apologized and said he was the only driver, totally fine. However my food was so cold and the fettuccine alfredo was so dry i could taste the dry pasta, there was no sauce whatsoever. Im so upset because i did spent money on dry noodles. Worst Pizza Hut I've ever had the displeasure of ordering from. I am never rude and never complain if something minor is wrong with an order, everyone makes mistakes and I get that. But when the same issue happens 3 TIMES IN A ROW it gets to be a little ridiculous. I've ordered a very simple ONE topping large pizza three times in a row, every time I ask for extra of the one ingredient, and there's always minimal stuff on the pizza, it looked like they barely put anything on there. The third time I even politely asked to remember the extra spinach in the special instructions, and I got LESS than the other two times. I called and politely told them what was going on, mainly just to let them know, I didn't even want anything for free. I thought they were being nice and offered me 10 dollars store credit...and I have yet to receive it. This was last week. Fuck you Pizza Hut, learn to fucking read an order and stop skimping you're customers on their ONE topping they ask for. read more

This location never ever ever gets my order right....ever. I always order online so there should be little room for error. Somehow they still manage to screw it up. Whether it is the wrong sauce (or no sauce) on wings, no ranch after paying for it, or a 2 liter of soda rather than two 20oz bottles, it is always something. I've called and reported their errors on several occasions and they are apologetic, but I'm tired of apologies. Just get the order right the first time! I'm only giving 1 star because you have to in order to write a review. I have never had a good experience with this place. I've gotten raw wings from them before.....RAW! How can you not cook wings properly? Wings are always over sauced. Never give red pepper and parmesan, even when you ask for it, they don't have it. Tonight was the last attempt. After an hour I called, only to be told there was a problem with my card. I never got a phone call! So how was it supposed to know there was a problem?? The girl was rude too.
