I love visiting Pizza Inn! I don't hardly check in as many times as I've been. I love their buffet style with the many assortments of pizza and desserts. The salad bar is my favorite and it's the only place that I've been, in years, that still carries the small ham cubes. The service is always immaculate and fast! We were there after visiting the zoo, so we were looking for immediate food! If you're looking for great pizza, this is not your place. But if you're ok with ok pizza and need to feed teenagers quickly, this is a go to place. Be sure you check out their salad bar! I was surprised how much good stuff they fit into a compact space, plus pudding for dessert! Our server was very nice and cleared the dirty plates promptly and refilled our drinks. It would be nice if they labeled the pizzas on the buffet so it wasn't such a guessing game. The food is good when hot. The bar is not kept fresh as it could be. We ate there yesterday for a birthday. We had 6 adults. They refused to join tables. We were seated behind a wall where we could not see anything. We ask for a particular pizza twice. Once on the bar and another on the dessert bar. We were never notified that either were ready. We were even promised on the one that we would be told since the other one got gone without our knowledge of it. I haven't been to a Pizza Inn in years so i decided to make the trip down to Asheboro for a delicious lunch buffet. The location is the new updated style of Pizza Inn and it's very clean and bright inside. I had a nice salad to start off with then I grabbed some thin crust pepperoni and a pan crust cheese slice from the buffet. The pizza was hot and fresh and the buffet was clean and neat as well. The waitstaff was very attentive and nice. The dessert pizzas looked tasty as well. One of the best things about here is that it's $8.99 for a lunch buffet (mon-fri) which INCLUDES A DRINK!!!!! I have tried Pizza Inn a few times, so I'm looking forward to giving my honest opinion. The lunch buffet is a good deal. It used to be $6.99, but now it's $8.99, and it includes a drink. The pizza here is decent. I'm not really a fan of how the pizza dough tastes, and I can taste it in the majority of the pizzas. But if you could get past that, then it may taste better for you. During my visit I got water but I didn't know until once I paid for the meal that a drink was included. I eventually got my drink to go. The overall ambiance is nice, and it's a little nostalgic. They have a small game room, which is nice for the kiddos. The salad bar is really good, and everything is fresh. I absolutely love their ranch, its top tier. Usually, when I'm craving pizza and I'm in a buffet mood, Pizza Inn is my choice. My experience here was good. It brought back a lot of memories from when I was a kid. read more

This restaurant is great for people with kids! My daughter loved it--the mascot JoJo came around and throughly entertained her. She hasn't stopped talking about him since we left! If it were just me or just me and my husband, I probably wouldn't go back. It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had but it also wasn't the worst. It was good. If you're a ranch person, the ranch is great! The dessert pizza was great! The decor was cool, and definitely an updated version of the Pizza Inn from our childhood. The service was great and our drinks were never empty. Every employee was personable and friendly. read more

Pizza Inn came back to Ashboro.Been gone for quite some time. Both our sons grew up eating in the last one that was here. So why not start the grandkids off on the same thing. We arrived at just a little after 7:00. Pizza Inn was busy.They did a nice job remodeling the building that had been sitting for several years. My one and only complaint is my wife is recovering from a stroke.And myself with multiple back surgeries and naturally we were seated clearly in the back of the building.Our waitress was very quick with our drinks.The salad bar was small but plenty. They use small plates.I prefer a bowl.The buffet offered spaghetti and two other types of pasta.Then again I prefer a bowl.Their must have been 10 different kinds of pizza plus Cheeseburger pizza and taco pizza plus BBQ chicken pizza.So no doubt the grandkids were happy.Even Nana was happy.At least six different dessert pizza's.The pizza was fine. Hey it's a buffet.Our waitress never let our glass go empty.Seniors eat for 7:99 kids under six free.So three adults to kids we left for 32.00 and some change. Maybe the worst pizza I've ever had delivered. All the crust was in the crust. There wasn't enough to hold the topping on the slice. Toppings all slid off when you picked it up. Had to roll it and eat like a Stromboli. And frankly pricey for a medium at $21. Thought I was getting something special and it seriously not good. 2 layers of cheese? I don't think so. read more

Very Underwhelming. My hopes were not high before coming in but I promised myself I would try it... I wish I hadn't. Where do I begin? The plates were slightly dirty. The food was very flavourless and the crust/bread was very hard. Pizza and pasta was very cold. The vibes of this place were very off as well. Very estranged and the atmosphere feels empty, not very welcoming. The lady who greeted us while very friendly and polite looked almost confused or baffled that we even came inside. I would give zero stars if it were possible to. __________________________________________________ My 1st & definitely will be my only experience with this place: (Wednesday, May 24th, 2023 @ 6:30pm) 30+ minute wait time to get seated Parking lot was a mess~trash all over, cars can't move around easily, people waiting all over parking lot & on sidewalks. They allow people to block both doorways (entrance & I'm assuming the other was supposed to be an exit, but yet people went in through that way as an entrance continually), sidewalk area, & when your name gets called FINALLY (by an employee yelling out of the doorway) you have issues getting through the crowd on the sidewalk & in the doorway to even get inside. NOT CLEAN AT ALL! Table, seats, floor, walls, bathroom, buffet areas, etc.--all disgusting (& mind you it's newly opened & already this bad) $15 per person for buffet, which is utterly disgusting. some pizzas burnt on the bottom but yet undercooked on top (SMH) NONE of the pizzas or desserts were good. salad bar section had quite a bit nearly empty; everything mixed into the other items compartments, & dressings were mixed (most likely from dripping from spoons while going above the others). difficult to find clean plates & silverware to eat off of. Soda tasted flat. _________________________________________________ We had a party of 6 & NOT one of us was content in any way. Most often, one person may find something that's displeasing or has some sort of issues, but for everyone of us to have this opinion really does say enough. We saw 2 other families trying it out the same time we were & after asking them their opinion on the wait, sanitation, food quality, etc.--we were not at all surprised to hear how dissatisfied & disappointed they all were as well. It's such a shame. I really had high hopes for this place, & was truly waiting for something new to come to Asheboro. Food was terrible, there is no selection of pizza. When there is pizza there's barely any. The pizza is okey at its best. The salad bar you have to reach out awkwardly to get anything in the middle and so does everyone else you see get salad. The salad bar plates are so small, if I'm getting a salad give me a bowl or bigger plate like come on there the size of your palm. Service is good. Would not recommend eating here again. read more

We went for late lunch. We are both on walkers, so I always plan every step before starting to walk. Server set up up against two other table of guest already there. Our walker were up against the other tables. Most time they will move out two chairs to make better access for every one. They did not. I wanted to try their stromboli. I asked for menu because I was not impressed with the bar. I was told no we are only cooking for the buffet today. We headed to make a salad and the space was tight for us and our walkers. Another guest felt sorry for my wife and came over to help her. Their were 4 servers standing at the cash register which is maybe 10 feet away. We got our salads and began to eat. Every time I got up the lady next to up would slide over to make room. I got a few slices if pizza which all had thin and tasted about the same. My wife found some pizzert in the apple flavor. It was the best thing there. I asked server do they ever put stromboli on the bar. She said not yet only dessert like apple. Maybe in a few weeks they would have meat stromboli on the buffet. Because there were five guest an employee's at the register I asked server if she could take our money to make UT easier? Oh no we can't touch money! I don't know how she would get at tip. There is a narrow path from front door to the buffet, it was filled with young ladies seated on both sides. Are they all applying for a job? No they all work here, they are waiting for shift change.
