Such good food and service this was the first time eating there. Had the burger, loaded fries, and pizza!!! Many items on the menu. Very laid back and chill place we will definitely be eating there again!!!
This is a super cool space with music-themed everything. Everything on the menu is named for a song, and there is artist and band decor everywhere. I love when businesses really dive into their themes. The loaded fries were delicious. Including both solid (shredded cheddar) and liquid (white queso) cheese in one dish is a genius touch. I can't believe I've never thought to do that before. We paid to add fresh jalapeños to it, which added a nice fresh and spicy kick. Other than that, this was not a good experience. I did not enjoy the pizza, and the service was practically non-existent. Our server was nowhere to be found for the first 10 minutes or so, and then failed to bring drinks for several minutes after that. And it was not busy in there at all -- lots of open tables, and plenty of staff standing around. After delivering drinks and taking our order, he did not come back. We saw him walking around in other parts of the dining room, but he did not check on us. Several minutes after finishing our drinks, no refill in sight, we flagged him down and asked for a refill, which he brought. At this point, someone else had already delivered our food, and we were well into our meal. After bringing the one drink refill, we did not see him again until we asked for the check. The pizza was pretty dry, and did not come with vodka sauce as advertised. It was a red sauce not-so-thoroughly-mixed with Alfredo. I actually don't think they mixed them at all prior to putting it on the crust -- there were quite a few unmixed pockets, so I think they dolloped both on and swirled it around. I'm sure this does achieve a vodka-like flavor if executed correctly, but that was not the case here. Vodka sauce is typically silkier, more acidic, and far less sweet than this was. I didn't really like the red sauce at all here, and would definitely not order it (or their so-called vodka sauce) again. More salt/garlic would help, but I'd probably go with another base entirely, if I were to come back. In all, this is a great place to come if you're super into music, like appetizers, don't plan on eating pizza, and want to tip an aloof teenager for doing absolutely nothing.
We stopped into Blue Rock Pizza on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Grabbed seats at the bar seating area. Pretty packed for Saturday around 530. Great call. Nice selection of IPAs and other drinks at the bar. We had the Boss and the Peace Train. The pizza is outstanding! The Boss is really good--sausage along with the crust make this a must eat option. The bar staff did a great job of checking in with us during our time there. Well run team. Between the beer selection, bar seating vibe, and top-notch pizza, this is an easy spot to come back to. We will certainly check it out when we are back in town.
Our first time here and we were expected to wait 30 minutes but only had to wait maybe 5. We started off with the meatball as an appetizer and opted for the regular marinara sauce with a side of the spicy sauce which is what it usually comes in. So glad we did! The spicy is spicin'! lol meatball are delicious! PERFECT for spaghetti and meatballs. We were pleased to know we could order a half and half pizza and could substitute toppings. The only downside so far was asking for something (water, plates) and it taking a long time to get it. Hopefully the pizza won't be cold before he brings the plates back and I can review the taste of the pizza. It's really good! Toppings are as you would expect at a pizza restaurant. Crust is soft, and chewy. I would definitely recommend!
Highlight of my night was the bacon ranch cheese fries. The Caesar was also pretty bomb. Everything else from the pizza to the service was mid or below satisfactory. It took 15 minutes to get drinks, and I didn't see a refill until after our food arrived. The restaurant did not seem to be busy and our waiter seemed to be checking on other groups at a higher frequency.
The parking was a bit hard at the time I went. I parked on the side of the laundry place beside it. I walked in and immediately greeted. It took only about 2-3 min to be seated. It's a cool place. I'm not sure of the exact size because it kinda looked like it had 2 doors to go in. Our server was cool. He kept our drinks refilled. We ordered bacon ranch cheese fries as an app. I like that tif you have the same base sauce, you can do your pizza one way on one have and another way on the other half. It was really good. They put a good amount of toppings on it. I would definitely return.
Had a decent dinner here-the wait was a little long since we came at peak dinner time but also was honestly a little frustrating to see them take 15 min to clear the table and get it ready for us -the food though I did enjoy ! They make the pizzas to order so that also took a while -bacon ranch fries were really tasty and tasted fresh made from real potatoes -the Caesar salad was good too. For the main entrees we got lil bear and the boss-I really enjoyed them-if you like thin crust pizza this is the place -the boss was meaty but a little salty-I liked the lil bear which was like Big Mac in a pizza but was perhaps a little sweet-the ambience is old classic rock -little dark , little loud but was fine for a pizza joint -all in all a good place when visiting high point !
This is such a cute shop to come to. Their menu items are based on rock and roll musics which is very clever, and the environment gives you a old time diner feel with amazing service. They're quick to get the food and check in on you regularly to make sure you are well cared for. Definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for a burger or pizza joint.
We ordered take out from here last weekend and the overall experience was decent. We ordered three different pizzas. Order was received and ready when we arrived. Service was great. Host was friendly and efficient. The interior is cute and clean. Colorful graffiti art on the wall adds a cute homey touch to the ambiance. The overall taste of our pizzas was good. My husband really appreciates that the toppings are finely chopped and abundant on the pizza. They have several specialty pizzas and some are a bit edgy and unexpected. The finely chopped toppings ensures that you get the full complement of flavors in every bite. We would try this place again. I would like to get the full experience of eating in. Pizza is one of my love languages and though pizza is good in all settings to me. Getting the straight out of the oven pizza definitely hits different. We'll be back.
Looking for a great slice while in High Point NC, this is your place! A huge menu with many choices of custom pizzas or build your own. I ordered the honey pie which is found in the olive oil section (they have red sauces, pestos and white sauce pizzas as well), so the honey pie is thin crust with Olive oil, chicken, applewood-smoked bacon, jalapenos, cinnamon-roasted butternut squash, brie, and orange blossom honey and it's heavenly! I ordered to-go so didn't have a chance to drink any of the many locally brewed beers they have but the place looked bright clean and everyone seemed happy I was super happy with the pizza and highly recommend this great place.
5 stars for consistency AND care of packaging my to-go order! I've popped in her fairly often over the years and the food is consistently tasty! One of my absolute favorite menu items is the jerk salad... yum! Had the craving hit and ordered take out ... I didn't make a special request for my chicken to be packaged separately, but someone took the time to do so - knowing it would wilt my lettuce and make for a less than ideal salad! Great experience. Decided to get a gluten free pizza for my girlfriend for lunch. Super easy to order through Yelp. (Couldn't get anyone to answer the phone). Staff was super friendly. Food was delicious. Awe will definitely be back! read more

Terrible service, when did you start to have to pay a PICK UP FEE for me to pick up my own food ?? The hostess was also rude. Ordered the Zoso pizza and wanted the peppers that already came on the pizza on the side, they charged $5 to put the peppers that were already on the pizza on the side which is ridiculous! We will not be returning due to the ridiculous up charges they do not list until you buy plus the rude staff does not help their business. read more

Decided to grab dinner one weekend night around 6. We got a pizza and a wrap. The service was ok. The restaurant is pretty small unless you consider the bar side and patio area. The pizza was fine but not really anything I would crave going back for. My daughter got the buffalo chicken wrap and said the same thing. The side salad was my favorite. It had several toppings, not boring and the dressing that came with it had good flavor. The pizza could use a little more tomato sauce. read more

Blue Rock is becoming one of my summer favorites for pizza and wings. On top of having a nice outdoor patio(minus the dog bowls), I'm hooked on the Big Kenny (add pepperoni) and crispy dry Jamaican jerk wings. They always cook it fresh and hot and the wings are crispy just like I like them. With the quick and attentive service they provide, I'll most definitely become a regular. read more

We intentionally go to High Point just to eat at Blue Rock Pizza. We discovered this place several years ago and keep coming back. To be honest, we initially went for the craft beer taps, but then discovered their creative pizzas. Their menu and food items are musically themed. We usually eat in the bar area which has booths, tables and another room on the side that would be great for larger groups. We started with a Mediterranean salad - Grilled eggplant, artichoke hearts, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, kalamata olives, chickpeas, capers, feta, pesto vinaigrette. The pesto vinaigrette was so delicious. Then we shared the Peace Train pizza (added Italian sausage). Service was quick. They also have an outdoor patio area. read more

I went to Blue Rock for lunch not too long ago because I a looking for a new spot to go to so I tried it. Overall it was fine, the pizza that I got was extremely good, can't lie about that. It was a small crowd there, it feels a little tight in the bar area and dark but tolerable. My only issue is that there wasn't much diversity when I went there to the point where it was somewhat uncomfortable. I'm deciding if I'll go again because of the pizza, but honestly I'd rather be there with a group so I don't seem so out of place. read more

Still one of my top dinner spots. We end up here often with friends on a Friday night and everything is always delicious. They have a gf pizza crust, the loaded fries are always a win, and lord those wings were some of the best I've ever had. read more

Again with this nonsense. I like Blue Rocks pizza but for the love of god give me the appropriate amount of toppings. Even if I have to pay more, that's fine. This is almost insulting. It's a much better pie than the chains around here but it's hard to say this is topped in a way that is considered a topped pizza. read more

The Tennessee Jed strikes again! The pizza was ready within 15 minutes of ordering and was a perfect size for three people to share. Being lunchtime on a Tuesday, the restaurant was rather empty, but the wait staff was a bit slow in service. Perhaps they were having a tough day, but the team could have been a bit friendlier - nothing major, but a great opportunity for improvement! We still love Blue Moon! read more
