We love ordering pizza from here! When we pick up, we don't have any issues and everything is perfect. We typically get a cheese pizza and a speciality pizza like veggie or BBQ chicken. Occasionally, we will grab one of the desserts. We've never had any issues with the staff. They're professional and do a good job of keeping everything and everyone happy. The small issue we've had has been the last two times we've ordered delivery. Both times the garlic sauce has been busted open when our pizza arrived. We only noticed when we opened the box and realized our table had garlic sauce on it. Not a huge problem but when you enjoy the sauce and there is none left, it's kind of a let down. read more

So, I placed an order for two medium pizzas. Instead of marinara sauce, I switched it up a bit and got alfredo sauce. One came with pepperoni, and the other was cheese. The service was great. I placed my order through the app. The app was fast and reliable with real-time pizza updates. When I picked my food up, it was nice and hot. The pizzas were amazing, I know it may seem weird coming from a pizza chain restaurant. This pizza was really good. You can tell from the dent I left on the pepperoni pizza. I don't know if any of my friends will even care about this BUT I am not happy about a situation that I had with my PaPa John's (in Asheboro, NC 27203 (336) 629-7272 So when I don't feel like going out of the house but I decide I want something to eat I use my PaPa John's app to order me something. Well on 01/10/2020 I ordered me some chicken poppers and some wings. I also ordered 4 extra pizza sauce cups. Well I got my order (they automatically add $3.00 to the order for delivery fee plus I gave a tip) and there was NO PIZZA SAUCE !!! I called and told the person that answered the phone that I had not received ANY PIZZA SAUCE. He said I'm sorry about that. He voluntarily said when you order again just call in to the store and tell them that Johnny said to give you a 10 piece order of chicken poppers (free) because we messed up your order (not counting that I paid $2.00 for the 4 cups of sauce) Tonight I'm wanting something to eat and I've literally been sick all day. So I call PaPa John's and tell them that I am getting ready to place an order through the app and that I was wanting them to add the 10 piece chicken poppers to my delivery. It ended up that the lady said oh, no we don't show that any one offered you anything. So I went to my notes and told her the order number and Johnny's name and what time I placed the order and what time I called the store. I even told her that I had all of this information in my phone. She said NO you are not getting anything for free So I ask if Johnny was there. She put me on hold then got him to the phone and stood there and coached him while he told me that I was NOT going to get any free chicken poppers. I didn't ask him for anything free when I called he just felt that was the right thing to do. Now he says he never said that. Positively useless. This place has actually delivered my pizza to the wrong location at three times. This most recent was, well, just now. The employee answering the phone lied about the situation, and while the pizza was remade and delivered on 10 minutes... It makes me wonder where communication broke down. I'll never order from here again. There is much better pizza in Asheboro. These folks should recognize that competition exists now, and folks will vote with their wallets. read more

If I could give a negative. I would. I was told by an employee of Papa John's when you add extras on your pizza you are not getting what you are paying for. There is a method to the extras. Ok let's say you buy seven extra toppings. The pizza instead of having seven extra layers. The toppings are put on as 1/7 of each topping on the pizza. Papa John is definitely the winner. The deliveries are slow. Tell you what, your better off buying a frozen pizza. read more

This place is only getting two stars instead of one because the pizza is actually pretty good. The problem lies in the service. Tonight my order arrived 2.5 hours late. I called an hour after ordering when it hadn't arrived and they said it was out for delivery, that there had been a problem with the oven. IT CAME AN HOUR AND A HALF AFTER I CALLED. This is not the first time this has happened. Three weeks ago my order was an hour late. Both times the delivery drivers apologized profusely but I know it wasn't their fault. They are turning into Pizza Hut! The only delivery you can count on is Dominoes. read more
