Our family loves Two Cousins! This is one of the only good restaurants in Angier, so we come here quite often. Their cheese pizza is delicious, and the buffalo chicken tidbits are fantastic with a good vinegar twang. Their salads are pretty good, and my parents have enjoyed their Chicken Francese. The servers are nice and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed and quiet, unless there's a large group dining in. My husband and I, along with his brother and sister, were staying in Angier to watch our niece graduate from Campbell University as a Doctor of Osteopathy. We stayed in a VRBO rental, and vowed not to cook for the entire 2 days we were here, lol. We ordered pizza from 2 Cousins and had it delivered. The pizza was excellent, the service was excellent, and the delivery driver was polite and prompt. I suspect the negative reviews on here are because the owners support our President, not because they actually purchased food from this restaurant. read more

We came here as part of my 14-year-old's birthday party. I called a few weeks ahead and Josh was so helpful when trying to figure out how many pizzas to order and if I wanted to get delivery or eat in the restaurant. We ended up ordering the pizzas the day ahead and they had it ready when our party of 12 showed up. We paid an extra $40 for them to open early as we were going to paintball afterwards. The pizza was ready and hot. They kept extra pizzas in the over for us as we ate. We ordered too much pizza and they did not make us pay for it. Luckily there was a huge order ahead of us which also ordered cheese pizza. Staff was very helpful and attentive. I had it delivered and it was here in less then 25 minutes, hot & fresh outta the oven. It was absolutely delicious, had to use a fork & plate because they put so much on the pie; like I said, they don't skimp on their toppings. Every time I've eaten here I've gotten a delicious pie that tastes like it came from an Italian grandma's kitchen. We ordered from here while staying with a friend nearby. She panicked because she'd never ordered from them. I saw great reviews so I had to try. The pizza was delicious. We got a regular sauce and the white sauce with ricotta in it. Both were delicious. I'm not big on white sauce but this was great. Food was decent. Our service was actually exceptional. Prices are a little steep for the quality of food, but that's okay - I don't mind support small businesses. it wasn't until I held the door for my mom as we were leaving that I noticed the THREE printed posters taped to the door that read "NO MASKS ALLOWED". There is literally no harm to the restaurant when an immunocompromised person decides to mask up - therefore I can't help but conclude that this is an absolutely politically motivated sign. if your base stance in life is keeping people from protecting themselves in a non-confrontational and very polite way- then I can't, in good faith, spend my money with this business or stay quiet about it for others who would be as appalled as I am. What a hidden gem....hidden in plain sight. It has a total dive look and feel and I would have passed it by had the yelp reviews not been stellar. They have a lunch buffet for 6.99 which is all you can eat. Its small but the offerings are very high quality. I also want to point out while the decor is origional 70s diner chic, the service is 5 stars!! The two young ladies working there are friendly, efficient, and really sell the place!! 3 types of NY style pizza are offered for starters. The crust was PERFECT; light, not too chewy, and topped with quality ingredients. I am normally not a fan of pizza but I quickly became a fan of this pizza. The garlic knots were also out of this world. The meatballs are homemade and so full of garlic that a vampire would suffer seizures being in the same room....and damn they were good; like some of the best Ive had...ever! Penne al Vodka was exceptional....better than Ive had at 5 star restaurants. They also had fettuccine carbonara with panchetta which was so rich and creamy...wow. This meal was an amazing and delightful suprise. One last thing, I wanted some salad so I ordered the Caesar salad for ~5.00. My family drives 25 mins to get pizza. Over the last couple of weeks the quality of the crust has declined but we stuck with it. Today was our last time giving them our business. Not only was the crust the worst it has ever been, but when my wife asked the waitress about her "Brandon" shirt she was so happy to say the owner bought them for all of us.
