I honestly didn't need anything complicated--I just needed a place to sit, a glass of rosé, and a little kindness. Victor was perfect. That's really all that can be said. He kept the rosé coming, checked on me without hovering, gave me space when I needed it, and somehow seemed to know exactly what I needed without me having to ask. He did his job flawlessly, but more importantly, he showed kindness to someone having one of the worst days of her life. You never know what someone sitting at your bar is going through.
